This thread is for Pyrve after she's come back from the dragon tournament. She has found our her Auntie Jacqueline passed away on a mission to kill the leader of the SHIELD. She was successful, but was murdered in the process. Then, when she went to find Kai, she found his house was empty. There was no sign of him. He has vanished. Now, Pyrve is the sole owner of Jacqueline tree house and jewelry stand in town. She's been hiding out in the tree house mourning.

Over his shoulder he held her with no particular care in the world. It was no use. From the studies with Kesshin he knew what the outcome of this was going to be. Just like Virulent, she wasn't going to make it. An animal rubbed up against his leg threatening to bite Bashmu at first but something came over it making it stand down as if it was some divine intervention. Looking ahead, he would see someone with a mask and just chuckled. "Seems she was more of a leader than you ever were" He commented with a chaotic laugh. "It doesn't matter what side of the conflict you are on. She was a huntsmen, but she ain't bother me. So I don't have any true issues. She told me her story before it went down. I must say, it would have been better if she was alive. To live and carry on Xcoutal name like Virulent wants, but sometimes we are tired. We have too much baggage. Sometimes we want rest. This isn't The Night Stalkers that was imagined by her husband? Was it??" Bashmu asked. The woman, leader of the night stalkers looked lost at first but she was getting agitated. ESPECIALLY, when Bashmu called Virulent her husband. Pissed, she left. She was going to offer help and aid, but he knew hot head he was carrying wouldn't care for it. He got to the tree house and looked around to wonder where exactly to put her. There wasn't a bed that he could see. He had nothing in this situation. He was just completing a job. She helped him get rid of a threat. She got revenge. He would put her body towards the end of the treehouse. Ironically enough, it was the place where Virulent spoke his last breaths. He would lean her against it and if Virulent was there it would look like as if she was leaning against his legs while being embraced. With her lifeless body there, he would nod. She wasn't dead yet, but it would be soon.
He felt emotional but he wasn't sure why. Maybe he had envy for Jackie. "You finally get to be with him. I must say I can't be happy for you. Quite envious to be exact. You get to finally be at peace. Something I wish for...One day." He started before taking out a blunt and lighting it up. Maybe he felt sad because it should have been him dead. However, she took the hit. She made sure he died. Burned to a crisp. The battle was fierce. Chaotic but it all felt this was meant to be. Putting the burned ashes of the leader, he would take a drag before holding it up to Jackie's lips. Whether she had the energy to take a puff or not, he would take it back after a few moments before looking outside. The sun was rising. He would stay no more there. Turning around, he would start to head out."HeY Persues. give my congratulations to them for me." He commented before he exited and started to walk away. He didn't dare look way. He just walked in a little waltz, the slight pain gone as he felt a slight joy. It was as if he could hear Persues speaking to him. "Come give this toast with me!" He commented before raising his blunt and hugging the air as if he was holding persues. "TO THE GROOM! TO THE BRIDE!!. and of course to the Hydras~" .. He stopped in his words before he chuckled. "You right Persues...Most importantly...to the Xcoutals" He continued to smoke the blunt, his vision going blurry as the contents set in into his body. The last lethal dose of poison from the leader. Bashmu made his decision, and he did so with a smile. "Don't worry. I may be late for the ceremony....But I will be there for the reception. Save me a seat Percy" He commented to the sky before collapsing to the ground. The blunt still burning as his violet eyes finally closed for good.
Things were not looking good for Jacqueline. Yes, she had accomplished what she set out to do, but it was now costing her the price of her life. The current leader of the nightstalkers was outside of her treehouse upon their return. Jackie didn't expect that stubborn b***h to give them any assistance. "It is no use." She mumbled to Bashmu. She would rather go in peace and spend her final moments begging for help from someone that envied her. Jackie didn't want to be buried with honors or be rewarded. All she wanted was to rest no. Virulent kept his promise. He was there with her the whole time as she burned it all to the ground. Now, she was ready to be with him and her girls. All was right in the world.
As Bashmu placed her against the treehouse, she would feel Virulent leg. Looking up, she would smile. "Hello, my love," She whispered kissing his cheek. As Bashmu stuck up a blunt, she would take a smoke with him. The high off it all put her to feel relaxed. The pain was bearable with the effects of the drug. All it felt now was her floating on a cloud above it all. Deep down, she heard Bashmu say congratulations to the Bride and Groom, she didn't understand. Not until, she looked around and saw herself in a white grown. Her mother was standing next to her fixing her veil. "I cannot believe it! My daughter is finally marrying," Her mother stated. Looking in the mirror, she felt so confused. but upon her hand was a ring. Was she marrying Ethan? No, that couldn't be the case. Her mother and father despised him. Nothing was making sense. Then, she saw her daughters in their flower girl dresses. She wanted to ask them, but they ran out of the room. "I'll go get them in order darling. Don't worry your pretty head. Your father will be here shortly," The last thing she heard Bashmu say was he was going to be late to the wedding before it all went black. Jacqueline had taken her last breath.
Even though she was gone, she was still having this wonderful dream. Soon, her father showed up. "Are you ready Kitsune?" Turning around, she was in tears. "Daddy?" She said as if she hadn't seen him in ages." Don't cry honey. You are going to mess up your pretty face. I know it is happy tears." He got some tissues and dabbed her eyes lightly. The makeup artist quickly fixed her up. Taking her father's arm, she would make her way out of the holding area to the double doors of the church. There she waited to reveal whom it is she was marrying.
Was he truly a nice person? He was a horrible person. He was supposed to be her conscious. Her rock. Suppose to lead her through this rough patch. The darkness consumed them both. Or were they just damaged people? People that wanted to just end it all. Virulent felt that way many times. Helping people as nice but it never felt the void that was needed until Jackie came. It didn't last though. He truly was just like the legend stated. Did he walk Jackie to her demise all for him to be selfish? To have her for himself? Or was it just simply a coincidence. He was still being rewarded. No. He wanted her to go on. He was going to make sure she pushed on. He gave her everything. Even evolved her semblance. If they weren't in sync.....there wouldn't be revenge. It would just be wasted blood.
Once Bashmu sat her down, he rubbed her cheek. "Just rest my love" He whispered to her gently. "My little Xcoutal..It's okay..." he started before stroking her hair. Each movement a delicate stroke between her red-headed strands. "You always looked beautiful. No matter the circumstances" He whispered before he kissed the top of her head. His image faded as she was left to her final moments. The transition is painless at this point.
Virulent would lookout. The twins around him fidgeted but doing their best to contain their excitement. He wore a blacksuit that had a red dress shirt underneath. A bit different from his usual get-up. she was marrying Virulent. He would wait as her father lead her down the aisle. The audience was filled with people she may or may not have known. Team Heat was there. Some people who met an unfortunate end that was there as well. Even though he stated he was going to be late, A blue-haired figured would slide over to his brother. Bashmu made it in time. Drink already in hand. A chuckle escaped Virulent lips seeing the sight. "Come on Jackie, We can't be forever. The church going to kick us out sooner or later" He whispered down as he saw she had stopped trying to take it in the whole scene. Once she got to Virulent, the pastor started but was quickly cut off.
"Sorry for the disrespect father. I been waiting for so long. So many decades to finally find someone to call my own. Someone that can be the burning light within my darkest hour. Someone who I can look at who smile will let me know that everything is okay. Someone with a fiery passion that warms with comfort and burns with safety. Someone, who may not be perfect, but is imperfectly perfect for me. It sucks we never got our chance in the world of the living , but I am happy to have forever after with the most beautiful woman in the world. and looking at these two hotheads growing up" He spoke as he stared directly into her eyes.
"JUST KISS HER ALREADY!" A voice yelled before being smacked by Perseus. Virulent didn't even flinch as he did as stated before the preacher coughed. They still needed to go through the formalities. After which, when they finally got to the end a kiss was shared before anyone could Object. Virulent took her into his arms as they headed down the aisle towards their reception. It was a beautiful ceremony. Everything decorated exactly how Jackie would imagine a dream wedding. While he wasn't seen, everyone was there. Including Kai. The blond sitting upstairs on the balcony watching his friend finally know true happiness. Even the a*****e huntsman couldn't help but crack a smile.
[i]Kai, we have to head out
"Coming. I need to" He stopped before looking and seeing that the female twin would be in front of him holding out her hand. No words were exchanged but he jus smiled softly. A blue present that was roughly the size of a book was placed into the twin's hand. "Make sure you give that to your mother for me okay?" Kai asked before he received a nod. The child spoofing without him being able to notice. A semblance? Maybe. Walking off, he could hear the sounds of Prince "I would die for you" playing from the ceremony hall. A chuckle escaped his lips at the realization. Virulent died for her and so did Jackie. Looking at the person that was bringing his attention away, the blue-haired locks coming into vision. I would die for you Kai thought as he followed behind the red-eyed woman. He finally understood the feeling Jackie had in the past. The feeling of what love is. Because he shared that same feeling for a certain Vacuo Native whose name started with an S.
As the wedding continued. There was just one thing left to do. On their side, everything was complete..but in the living world...a young dragon had a job still to do for the couple.
This all had to be a dream, right? She was still at her treehouse and waiting on medical attention to arrive, she was died? She would wake up and find Pyrve tending to her, and all will be well. As the doors opened up and she saw Virulent and her children, the denial she was having, started to fade. She was really gone from the living, this wasn't a dream, but her happily ever after instead. She was in her version of the afterlife. Tears welled up in her eyes as she walked towards her husband to be. As she looked at the guest, there were many people from Atlas who had perished and were friends of her parents. When she got to the front, she saw her teammates. Team HEAT together once again. Who would have thought she'd see the day? As Virulent off her from her father, she was speechless. Of course, they would approve of her marrying him. He was a good man.
He didn't even let the ceremony start as he interrupted the father. His words pierced her heart and sunk deep into her soul as she looked him into the eyes. Why had fate been so cruel to them and let them have this happiness while they were living? It didn't matter because she had it now. He was here with her now. Nothing could take him from her now. They were getting their fairytale ending. "I love you so much. I had been depressed and longing for someone to come in and make me whole again. I know you had other plans for me my love. I was ready to be with you and our children. Please don't be upset with me. My work was done. I am happy to get this opportunity to marry you. I am at peace now. Please believe me." She told him looking back at him.
As Bashmu yelled out, she chuckled. It was so nice to see her friend. The paster would clear his throat and tell them they still had to go through with the ceremony. "We understand father. Proceed." As they went through the celebration of their union, it was beautiful. Everything she could have ever dreamed of was coming true. As much as she wished for him to be there, she missed Kai. He loved her pancakes and cakes. They had gone on great missions together. He was her partner in crime. As they kissed and the father announced them as husband and wife, they walked to the reception hand in hand. Their union rope still around their neck from the ceremony. Jacqueline and Virulent were now one in the afterlife.
The twins had done run off and the newlyweds were enjoying their time together. They danced, drank, and socialized with the guest. Jacquleine made sure to spend as much time as she could with her new husband. Her mom had lost track of one of the twins. As she walked up to her mother, there was a present in her hand. "Who is this from sweetie?" She asked her daughter. "I don't mommy. There was a man with blonde hair that was standing on the balcony. He said give this to you." Jacqueline took the present and was curious. "Okay honey. Thank you. Stay with grandma." The little girl ran off to her other sister and grandmother.
"I love you." She told Virulent as she kissed him. "Everything is as it should be." With that being said, their night continued. It was off into the sunset. Forever.
Nothing has been okay since she came back from the Dragon Tournament. Learning that her whole life was a lie, how was one supposed to take that? Icing on the cake, she comes home to find Jacqueline and Bashmu died outside the tree house. She didn't know what to do about her team. She had no clue where Kai was. This was just bull crap on top of bull crap. Calling the Vale police, she had to wait for them to do all their investigation crap. Then finding out from the so-called leader of the nightstalkers what she died on a mission. Then, the police finding out that the murder was killed by her aunt and Bashmu. It was just a lot.
Everything was left to her, including the stand in the streets of Vale. She would close the stand and sell it to someone needing a place to set up shop. Collecting all her aunt valuables, she returned them to the treehouse that was now hers. Since she found her aunt, she hadn't really left the treehouse. The young woman didn't know how to deal with grief. This was the first major loss in her life that she remembers. Therefore, it had been two days now. No one has heard from her. She wasn't answering her scroll. She hadn't been seen on campus. During dorm room check, she has been absent from the room. She hasn't really eaten in those two days. She hadn't drunk anything. Her sleep has come from exhaustion. It was now day three, she was finally be developed her aunt's urn.
Pyrve had sent the last two days weaving together a union rope. She had also made a similar necklace to the one her aunt made Virulent. Jacqueline's was white. Upon the urn being developed, she would secure the necklace around it. Then, she would place the union rope around the two urns. "I hope you two are finally resting and together." She said as fresh tears rolled down her already tear stained face. Her stomach growled at her loudly, but she ignored it. Going into her aunt room, she crawled into her hammock and let it rock her to sleep. Her body weak and not a lot of energy to spare from her late of food and hydration.
