Ujiri 1
He was once again avoiding his home life since his older sister was there. He was still upset with her and like any rational teen he was avoiding her. Of course he knew he should get over it and be more mature but he thought he should be allowed to brood just a little bit.
As he leaned up against the bark of a tree he took note of the sounds around him. He was far enough out in the jungle that no one should just randomly find him. They should have to be actively looking. So when the sound of a twig breaking under someone's foot was heard he stilled and turned his head in that direction to listen more.

She'd taken the long way back. She was going up and around before heading south. That was mostly to ensure that she didn't lead someone back to Inaza. Last thing she wanted was for him to blame her for being caught. It would just make things much worse on her in the long run.
When she forgot to look where she was stepping and a twin snapped under her foot she paused long enough to look behind her. Sarnai's grey gaze sweeping the trees for any sign of movement. When she found none she let out the breath she hadn't known she was holding and faced forward again. She was paranoid but it was warranted at the moment.

He took notice of the shifter trying to be quiet in the woods. Color him impressed that someone actually came across him without meaning to in the large jungle. He tilted his head a bit to the side and took in her appearance. Only after a minute did he smirk and take out a dagger. He had no intention of hurting the girl but he thought it wouldn't hurt to scare her. So he tossed the weapon with the intent to fly past her head.

She was taking a step forward again when the glint of something shiny coming her way made her move to the side. As she did Sarnai brought her hand up and grabbed the dagger by the handle as it passed her face. Once it was snatched out of the air she looked in the direction it had come. Only then did she notice the hybrid male with a smirk on his face. She was slipping if it had taken her that long to notice him. And if she hadn't been quick she might have gotten hurt!
Keeping the hold on the dagger she tried to figure out if the male was a real threat.

He watched the girl snatch the dagger out of the air and lifted a brow. Now that was impressive. He let out a low whistle before he shifted so that he could face her fully with his hands going into his pockets as though he were no threat. Ujiri still kept his smirk in place though. "That was impressive. Someone trained you well." He attempted to make conversation.

At the mention of being trained well she stiffened. Sarnai wasn't sure what to think about that. Did that mean this person knew something? Were they looking for her? Had Inaza sent them after her because she'd been gone too long?
"Thanks.." She spoke cautiously. Sarnai glanced at the weapon she held but it was enough of a look to tell her that it was well made. "Nice dagger."

"Yeah, it's a nice one. Sharp too." He kept that same smirk as he rocked back on his heels. When he was back on his feet he walked lazily forward but at a slow pace. "Don't hurt yourself with it." Ujiri was wondering how close she would let him get.

She eyed him warily as he started his approach. Though his body language said he was no threat she also k ew that could be a lie.. so she held the dagger in front of her at the ready, sinking into a stance that would give her a good base for balance. "Thats close enough if you don't mind." Since he'd just thrown a blade at her she wanted to be careful.

When the girl told him he was close enough he chanced two more steps then stopped. He let his gaze trail over her for a second before going back to her face. He noticed she was favoring the one side earlier when she walked and even her stance gave it away a little. "I don't mind. You hurt yourself?" He gave a nod to the side but didn't really push.

A frown formed on her face when he pushed the line a bit. Of course she went a bit rigid when he asked if she'd hurt herself and nodded to her side. Was it that obvious? She'd have to work on that. "I'll be fine, don't worry." If he knew then denying it wouldn't benefit her at all. "Why are you out here? Waiting on me?" Sarnai fished for information.

He took a moment to look her over again before finally nodding. "Fair enough. Doesn't look like your bleeding through your shirt so I'll take your word for it."
He chanced another step forward while keeping his hands in his pocket. "I was enjoying my day by myself. Wasn't expecting anyone." Ujiri thought to press his luck with getting even closer. Maybe if he could distract her enough he could take his dagger back from her and throw her off guard some.

Her brows came together as he got closer. Sarnai didn't want to back up and let him think she feared him. So she stood her ground. When he was close enough she moved the blade she held in front of her to his neck. A clear threat. "I told you not to come closer."
The way he seemed to stay relaxed made her worry there were others with him. So she chanced a glance to her surroundings.

The blade at his throat was a surprise. Ujiri's smirk only grew wider though. When the girl glanced away from him he moved. Quickly he brought both hands out of his pockets and moved to push the girl's arm away from him and disarm her at the same time. When he had the blade back in hand he couldn't help but grin and point it at her chest.

Inwardly she cursed herself for looking away. Why she was making so many rookie mistakes lately was beyond her. Normally she wasn't this bad. But she responded quickly by using her other hand to grab her own knife, though it was smaller than the dagger, and using it to point at the male's thigh. She made sure it was right at the sweet spot. "You sure you wanna do that?" Sarnai pointedly moved her head to indicate the blade she held as a counter threat.

So she was quick too. Ujiri still wore his smirk but it turned into a grin. If he could practice his skill with her more often then he'd be set. Of course he'd have to ask her after he got away from that knife. So he pulled a dirty move and moved his hand to hit her sore side. It just needed to get her to put the blade down. Once she did that he invaded her personal space and pushed her back to pin her against the nearest tree. "Got ya."
