Echo was born to none other than the famous captain Hook himself. His mother was not important as to who she was. Only one person knows what happened to her after she had the pirate's son that would be raised at sea. But that person has vanished and never returned to NeverLand. Hook had been after Pan for many years and he never thought that he would get the chance to get rid of him and seek his revenge upon NeverLand. The day came when he came across someone claiming to be a god that would give him what he wanted. He wanted another Lost Boy on the island at the time that Hook cared less about so the two made a deal with each other giving him an object that would allow him to trap Pan and only two people would be able to free him, his son, and another who was on the Island that shared his blood. Hook was only told about his being able to free him and not the other. His son was still a baby and he had nothing to worry about the object would be lost at the bottom of the seas to be forgotten about.
Hook and his crew were free to roam the waters and NeverLand while raising Echo as a pirate like he should be. Hook was the one that started the war with the Indians and the Lost Boys. He made both sides think that the other one did something so the two would hate each other and have a never ending battle of hate killing each other. The pirates were raising all of their children that they had aboard the Jolly Roger to be just like all of them. There was one person who Hook could not seem to want to kill, he had become the lost boy's new leader after Pan had gone missing. He seemed to cause just as much trouble if not more than Pan did, and he had more powerful magic than he had.He had created something called Nightshade and made it start growing all over the island as a deadly poison. He seemed to have some form of connection with the fairies that no one else had except for Pan. Hook made it his next goal to kill the next leader of the lost boys so they could truly be free and have Neverland to themselves.
Hook and Echo had managed to get a message out to the leader to have a final battle to the death at Skull rock where they had to hide away. No one knew the place better than the captain himself; beside Echo he had taught him all the secrets of the skull island. June and Hook had said they would fight fair and use no magic and just swords, and guns. And that was how it went with the fight lasting for a few days non-stop Echo watching the whole thing while in hiding with his own pirate crew he was gaining. But the lost boy cheated and had used magic to end the battle killing Echo’s father, and a few other of his crew member’s to end the pirates once and for all. Since that day Echo had wanted revenge to kill June. It seemed that June had forgotten that the pirates had their children, that they would all want revenge. Not just Echo wanted he wanted it more than the others. His father’s enemy Pan had called Hook the crocodile for his own reasons and Echo decided to give June the nickname snake for cheating. He would have expected the pirates to cheat, that was what pirates did cheat, steal and anything else you felt like doing for fun.
Over the years Echo and his own crew had been hiding, waiting for the perfect time to kill the lost boy that had killed his father, and everyone else’s. Echo ended up running into someone that had been visiting the island who called himself a witchdoctor. He joined his crew for a little while but that did not last for very long, he had other plans and had to travel to other worlds but he said he would come back to try and make deals with the lost boy’s leader about gaining the ocean’s and keeping them for himself so he could have their magic. Echo was one to not use magic so he could have cared less about the magic’s water. He did tell the witchdoctor about the magical fountain that was hidden in Skull rock and how to get to it if he wanted to use that for any of his deals that he would have to make. The water allowed one to be healed of anything, and live forever. That is the story of how the island has lived for so many years with immortal children. The secret to killing them all was within the water source that the flowers were made from. The two would find a way to kill off the magic together so he could steal it and remake the island with it under their control. If Seth managed to be able to control all the water on the island then that would be possible he would just have to make a deal with the leader in order to do so.
Seth later came back after making the deal with June but it was at a cost so they could not kill the island since he would be connected to it now. The two would need to find a way to figure out how to get him out of his deal first, with still owing the oceans so he would not be a part of the disappearing island when the time comes. Seth left again to try and figure out how to cheat that deal; he knew if Echo ruled Neverland then he would automatically break the deal between him and June. Echo just needed to find a way to kill June for good and get rid of his magic that he used all the time. When Seth was gone for good, Echo decided to show him and his crew around the island once again to get revenge on the place. He did learn one thing that would help with the battle from the witch doctor and he planned on using it to trap and kill June. As soon as the pirates had made an appearance to the island another war seemed to break out with them, the Indians and lost boys. The two sides were still at war and did not seem to want to work together at all from what his father had done a while back. Being able to step foot on the island itself was more of a challenge than they thought it would be.
But Echo and his first mate did so and found their way to the fairy tree, it might not be all of the island’s magic source but it was a lot of it and controlling the fairies killing them would hurt the lost boys. They captured all of them while they had been asleep and threatened June with killing them all including the one that he cared for the most that belonged to him. June agreed to give up the thing that the pirates wanted in exchange for keeping the fairies safe. He gave up his shadow to the pirates. The shadow would control the leader controlling all of the lost boys and most of the magic on the island to give to their witch doctor friend. However when the trade happened June had put a few hidden objects on the ship making it blow up after he was gone killing the captain and the rest of the crew. June did not find his shadow again after that, only the dead captain knew what had happened with it once it was gone. His shadow was gone for good but he did not need it without pirates to deal with.
Echo had thought that hell was the end of his story, he had died and that was it. Wasn’t it? For him it was not. The witch doctor that had helped him before brought him back from the dead. He had no idea why he had brought him back without a form of price or payment even. It seemed that he still wanted to have the Neverland waters and the only way to officially get them was for him to control Neverland. When he had come back he was told he would not be able to die again he was already dead. Seth also made it so that he would be immune to any and all magic. He knew Echo did not use any himself and, he had one object only making it go inside of Echo, giving him a birthmark that would protect him. Seth thought that was the best way to protect him from June’s magic. When Seth left Echo decided to keep himself hidden from Neverland for a while and travel a bit until he was ready to face him again. Without a crew he would be alone the next time and wanted to make sure he was ready to get his revenge from the lost boy that had killed his father and himself.
