Oh no, startled by the forwardness, Alcor recoiled a bit taking a step back while trying to smile and not grimace at the introduction.

“H-hi. Hello.” She blinked slowly realizing that this Senshi, Keiko as she called herself, was the walking personification of what would have happened if she and her sister, Eleonora, had been born as one individual instead of twins. The excitement alone in her voice, and forward way of greeting, was so much like Ele that Alcor had for a moment thought it was her sister trying to confuse her.

But no. Despite their differences, the Senshi of Heat was not that cruel. Plus that twin vibe thing was kind of missing. Nonetheless, it was still jarring to be approached in such a manner.

“My name is Alcor, Senshi of Cold.” For a long moment, she looked Keiko over almost appraisingly, nodding approvingly of her fur-trimmed uniform that appeared to be as warm as her own. “I uh-” reluctantly she allowed herself to be tugged towards the start of a snowman. “Um, sure?”

What she’d do to switch places with Eleonora, this was one person that she could definitely see her sister being friends with just because of their personalities.

Fate? Alcor looked honestly confused but felt it would be better to be thought a fool rather than to speak and remove all doubt. Seemed she’d need to look online later to see what a Yuki Onia was to understand; assuming she could remember that sphere when she got home. For now though, she nodded in agreement.

“Fortunately my uniform comes with convenient layers so come summer I can just remove my coat when it gets warmer.” Otherwise, she’d be like Eleonora, complaining about the weather. The belly-dancer type outfit didn’t do much to deter her from powering up in the winter months but she definitely voiced her distaste and annoyance that she didn’t have a fur-trimmed coat too.

“Do you think this is a good size for the head?” She asked when the ball she had been adding snow to was about the size of a basketball.

Alcor looked genuinely surprised by the statement. “You actually keep items in your subspace for building snowmen?” Now she was genuinely intrigued. Her own had some frost flowers and some special snowflakes she picked up a few years ago.

She lifted the third ball and put it atop the one Keiko had just finished. Should probably get a first aid kit if I’m going to keep powering up though. Food too while she was thinking about it; non-perishable snacks that wouldn’t go bad since she wasn’t really sure how long things like that lasted.

“What else do you usually keep on hand, if I may ask?” Several years had gone by since she had awakened as a senshi, but there were times she felt new to it all and perhaps it would be wise to get a new perspective.

“The benefit of cold worlds is that it makes storing food convenient.” Heating it up to eat was a bit more difficult without melting the ice around her but memories of her past life offered hints on how it was done before.

“I feel fortunate in that I found a city with homes and other structures so I don’t need to worry about building anything.” She was by no means a carpenter and didn’t want to bring too many things that didn’t belong or originate on her homeworld to begin with. Something about maintaining the purity of Alcor felt right. Everything still felt too fragile to touch, as if the simple act of opening a door would cause the city to collapse.

“My hope is to someday see life flourish there again.” Memories were few but there were animals she saw that would never be found on a place like earth. “I don’t know how to make this happen, but someday…” Only recently did she start really caring about visiting her world or checking on the frozen flowers that had been planted there several years ago. They still lived, kind of; didn’t expand to cover more area but hadn’t disappeared either.”

Alcor took a step back to appraise the snowman and their teamwork in building it. "I think it looks good."

“I feel like I’m in a odd position. Usually it’s my sister who is eager to visit other Wonders or Homeworlds while I often give a polite pass. But if your world is anything like mine then she would almost definitely decline.” As the Senshi of Heat, Eleonora was against cold weather places without proper warning and clothing.

“And yet… I find myself interested in seeing how similar ours are.” She gave a thoughtful hum at the idea of it. “Perhaps we can go at a later time but for now I like the idea of a warm drink.” For the moment she could still feel her fingers but that would rapidly change if she stayed out in the snow much longer without putting gloves on first.

Alcor took the opportunity to power down to avoid any unwanted attention.

Names and numbers exchanged, she offered Keiko a genuine smile. “Shall we?” she asked, glad she chose to stick around and build a snowman together.
