Statistically, Tortali had to be one of the very worst senshi in existence. It was a proven fact, as she had been involved with…all of this for longer than she had been involved with Anella, but. She was still just a second stage, and her first time out she had been involved in the most ridiculous battle and had almost lost…well. Everything.
And honestly? She was pissed about it. It wasn’t right, it was utterly and absolutely disgusting and the next member of chaos that she saw she was going to…well. Do something. Punch them at the very least. Maybe rip off their head like that of a dandelion.
That was the only reason she was out tonight, there was something to prove. Something to fight for. Chaos to fight against.
So far the patrol had been rather uneventful and the super senshi half regretted not inviting Anella…at least then she’d have had something nice to look at but…
Oh.
The prickle of a chaos aura made the senshi’s head snap up and a snarl come up from her chest, surprising her slightly.
Breaking into a run, Tortali sped towards the corrupt senshi, and as she had wanted, drew back her arm and punched him. Right in his crap lousy face.
Hell yeah.

Once again, Alkmene found himself in a fight against someone stronger than him. Once again, they opened with punching with no hesitation.
Why was this a thing, all the time.
Okay, yes, he had been out on patrol with the hopes of finding civilians to drain. But he hadn't actually done anything yet, which made this an unfair, unporvoked assault, and meant that he only had one option. Which was kicking with his fantastic boots, aimed straight at the center of her sternum.
"What the ********," he said, angrily, "what is it with you people and picking on people weaker than you?"
Ugh, that was probably going to bruise, and he'd have to cover it up, and that was going to be a whole thing.

“I think I could ask you the same damn question! What do you think you’re playing at just ******** up a whole a** group of people. I was supposed to be on a date, and I came out tonight to punch the first chaos filled a** that I found into the ground and whoops. Guess that’s you.”
Tortali drew her arm back once again, though paused, and decided that perhaps riling this corrupt up would be the best way to really be able to pummel him into the dirt. “Simple Grudge!” She let the attack fly from her hand, and tried to follow up with another uppercut.
“I don’t see how you all can just get off messing up people’s lives like that. It was cruel and really shitty, and you deserve to pay, and if I have to find one at a time? So be it. I’ll punch all of you into the goddamn dirt.”Noir Songbird When Tortali calls she points at the opponent that she wants her attack to hit, a small grey energy cloud flies from her fingers and if it hits the opponent, they will feel as though they are holding a grudge against someone, some of the feelings may include, high feelings of anger, resentment, betrayal, and these feelings are a good distraction. These are feelings that one would normally have, just a bit magically intensified in order to cause a distraction. The effects will last for twenty seconds, and then the feelings stop. The attack may be dodged if the person can jump out of the way quickly enough, and the attack may only be used once per battle.

Alkmene was on his guard now, thoguh he was mostly dodging backwards as opposed to attacking. Which meant that while he ducked away form her uppercut, he was still right in the path of her magic--and it set something simmering inside him.
Something powerful. Bitter. Angry.
The thing was, Alkmene wasn't a stranger to grudges. Even with his father dead, one bubbled in his heart every time he thought of the old b*****d. He resented, too, the stupid cat that had brought him into the war; if she hadn't found him, he wouldn't have had to rename and remake himself again to join the Negaverse. He couldn't help but bubble over with fury, and at the moment?
His best target for his rage was the girl in front of him.
"Are you talking about the battle on the hill?" He snorted, shocked. "If you were stupid enough to turn up to such an obvious trap, that's on you, honey,"he said. And then he swung his fist at her sternum, hard, with all the force he could muster. Knock her down. Put her out. Make sure she regretted punching him in the face.

“I was just coming to see what the commotion was about.” Sometimes, Tortali doubted the usefulness of her magic. It always made people turn so violent…and while sometimes it gave her a means to escape…often times it made her the brunt of their rage…and that didn’t turn out very good for her face. Or other parts of her body.
She stumbled after the blow and hissed, wrinkling her nose. “I’m not sure why you’re like this. Why you think all of these things are right or good. Why would you plan such a trap? It’s disgusting. Turning people against their will. Were you turned against your will? How the ******** would you like it?”
Tortali wasn’t quite so stupid though, she moved a few steps backward as she spoke, half ready to break into a run and get out of here with life and limbs.

"See what the commotion was about?" Alkmene barked a laugh, and moved to follow her as she retreated, ready to swing another punch. He wasn't usually this aggressive, and the magic was starting to fade, but....
He'd wanted power, when he corrupted. And here it was. She was backing away. Afraid of pretty, delicate little him. That was something he had never expected to see.
It felt good.
"That's the stupidest excuse I've ever heard. And you know what? It was a magnificent ******** plan. This is a war, moron. People die. Every single person that was corrupted that day is lucky, because now they're on the winning ******** side, and they're gonna be great."
And then he laughed, for real.
"I chose this. When I first woke up, I watched one of our Generals kill people as easy as breathing, and the stupid cat woke me up to save me--wish I'd known then what I know now, and I could have gotten myself corrupted first instead. Because you know what? I like that power. I like knowing that I can defend myself. I like being stronger than I ever imagined I could be on your side."
The magic was gone, now, and he didn't feel quite so urgent a need to chase her, but he still grinned, feral, vicious.
"Why don't you run, now, and maybe I won't decide to take your starseed home with me. How's that."

Tortali very nearly growled and tossed a braid over her shoulder. “One of these days, you’ll be dead and the war will be over. All of you. One of these days, we’ll pull Chaos out by the roots.” But it wouldn’t be today. She was so out of practice it wasn’t even funny. She had to talk to Anella. Had to work out if they could start patrolling again. Start maybe making a difference.
“I hope you don’t meet me again, because I won’t be so…” Foolhardy? Whatever. He didn’t need an explanation. She didn’t need to give him anything.
With a soft huff, Tortali shook her head, a little disgusted that he had watched a General killing people and had still chosen to corrupt…but. Trash is as trash does, she supposed.
Giving the Corrupt one last dirty look, she murmured, “Heavier Grudge.” And bolted. Hopefully he would simply be distracted and find someone else to get pissed at.
…Not very heroic but.
She was very out of practice.

The second attack struck him, and it was a bit of a surprise--made him stumble, briefly, and blink, shocked. There was a moment of such overwhelming hatred, and anger, that it blacked out his higher thought processes.
Alkmene carried a lot of viciousness inside him, it was true. He supposed he'd forgotten just how much.
By the time he came fully back to himself, she was gone, and he was left staring at empty space.
Fine. He would remember her. And he'd find her again.
