School/Occupation: Destiny City University, working on a bachelors in psychology with intent to carry on to a Juris Doctorate, housekeeper for some rich dude to pay for college and have a place to stay

Hobbies:
crochet: the family baby whose older siblings were all a little too busy for her, Tarra first took up crochet as an activity she and her mother could do together. Now she makes little knit dolls and stuffed animals and sells them on Etsy.

skiing: a fairly recent hobby that she’s taken up with her college friends. Afraid of embarrassing herself around people she knows, so she goes up the mountain to resorts more frequently to practice than her friends usually do.

archery: that club she joined in high school and never quite got too busy to get out of. She joins competitions sparingly, but attends rec center meetings weekly. Likes teaching youngsters. Is really unabashed about inviting people over to her boss’ house to shoot targets with her.

Virtues:
ambitious: Tarra has always felt like she has to be just as good as any of her older siblings. Her sisters and brother are professors, doctors, and business owners. She has a lot to live up to, and is eager to show everyone that the family “baby” isn’t just a spoilt brat. She’s aiming for her law degree and is working just as hard as her siblings ever did.

doting: a loving and protective friend, Tarra enjoys doing things for the people she adores. She likes making snacks, she likes giving gifts, she’ll defend her friends’ and family’s actions no matter how wrong they are. She’s happy to be the noisy wall between her friends and the rest of the world at large.

optimistic: hasn’t had many terrible experiences, so is in a place where she doesn’t even expect them. Tarra likes to work hard to keep things running smoothly, and she has a huge, supportive family (five sisters and one brother, and two loving parents) to serve as backup when something is too great for her to handle alone. She’s always looking at the sunny side of things.

Flaws:
jealous: something she is absolutely ashamed of and smothers very well behind smiles and praise and offerings of treats. Tarra is horrifically jealous whenever anyone besides her gets compliments and praise. She feels terrible about it, but she can’t help but wish that it was always her accomplishments or her looks being noticed. Almost always something she deals with privately, but is prone to snapping on occasion and upsetting people she cares very much about.

bitter: Tara’s relationship with her older siblings is… complicated. She adores them. She would do anything any of them ask of her. She’s their cheerleader and support and listening ear. But they are all so accomplished, and her parents are so proud of them, and it seems like everyone just thinks she’s “the baby” still, who needs looking after and is struggling with her homework and needs help paying the bills and making good choices. She just wants her family to see her, and when they do that whole, “she’s just a baaaaby” thing, it makes her incredibly angry. As such, she takes poorly to anyone who comments negatively about her age, experience, or lack of proficiency in anything she does.

indulgent: she likes what she likes and doesn’t see reason to keep herself from whatever pleases her. Likes chocolate, likes being lazy, and it’s not like she doesn’t work out and do her job and study hard, so Tarra absolutely does whatever she wants with her free time, no matter how “unhealthy” it is.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Eyes: COLOR #a7fcc1, her glasses are huge and always smudged, making her eyes look weirdly small when she has them on, but she has thick lashes and large, pretty doey irises

Face: a delicate, heart-shaped face with freckles and huge, circular Harry Potter glasses. Has the stereotypical “too nerdy to be pretty,” but takes glasses off and WHOA, hello, you’re hot??? type of face

Skin Tone: Basyl’s younger sister. Her skin can be same as his or a little darker or a little lighter at artist’s discretion

Body Type: short and naturally a little on the curvier side, but has biceps from archery and pretty strong calves too

Clothes: loves big huge knit sweaters and baggy sweatpants and high top shoes, complains about dresses and pretty girls but actually wears them often because of how easy they are to put on for a “complete outfit” while only adding one garment to the laundry pile at the end of the day

Senshi: Ruta of Regret

Uniform Color: The three middle colors from this swatch

Main Color: the middle blue
Secondary Color: either the greenish color or the purple on either side of the blue

Uniform:
Tiara -- flower crown in all her swatch colors, with little tear-like crystals dangling around it
Choker -- none
Collar -- collar like this, sans central bow
Bodice -- mostly white with just the middle having that petally look and hombre in her colors, ends at her bust, so nothing on her shoulders
Chest Bow -- a kind of large chest bow clipped to side instead of center
Brooch -- a rue flower this
Sleeves -- off the shoulder lacy or puff sleeves, short
Gloves -- long, elegant gloves with crystal armband around the cuffs
Buttbow -- a big buttbow with trailing tassels

Sailor Scout Attack: Ruta Seed of Regret
Ruta extends her arms and then gestures as if encouraging something to grow. A small stem and bud erupt from the ground, casting a glow with a radius of ten feet. Those touched by the glow will feel a sense of regret for opposing Ruta. They could regret attacking her, arguing with her, being on an enemy faction, or whatever opposing player chooses. Lasts for thirty seconds and has three uses.

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Ruta Regret Blossoms
Ruta extends her arms and then gestures as if encouraging something to grow. A long stem and flowering bud erupt from the ground, casting a glow with a radius of fifteen feet. Those touched by the glow will feel a sense of regret for opposing Ruta. They could regret attacking her, arguing with her, being on an enemy faction, or whatever opposing player chooses. They are compelled to ease the regret by changing their ways. This sensation can be fought by a powerful Will. Lasts for thirty-five seconds and has two uses.

Eternal Sailor Attack: A Forest of Regret
Ruta calls her attack and throws her arms into the air. This is a hallucinogenic AOE. All characters within 20 feet of Ruta experience being trapped in a dense jungle, wherein scenes of their deepest regrets flick through the darkest edges of the trees. The forest can be escaped by getting out of range, and characters who were caught together in the magic are not stopped from interacting with each other. Lasts for forty seconds and has one use.

Looks good to me, have fun! Because she is awakening after she's turned 21, she will be considered a Late Blooming Senshi and they come with a little bit of extra information to know! You can find all of the information here but I've also spoiled the relevant information below! This should affect a few things when you bring her in; she will need to awaken during a dangerous situation and a Mauvian may be worried about her starseed when they do so, and her magic should fluctuate and manifest in strange or inconvenient ways until she completes her stabilization ritual. You can send this in when she is close to, or has already reached, second stage.

Late Blooming Senshi

      Senshi that awaken between the ideal ages of 14-20 do so when the starseed has the most potential to sync and grow with them. Senshi that awaken between ages 21-27 will still have a starseed with the potential to awaken, however the starseed has spent a very influential time in the character's life dormant; this power has been growing but hasn't had an outlet. When a character awakens between age 21-27, their magic will, for a period of time, be erratic and more difficult to control as they adapt to the harbored energy they have just unleashed. Their magic will fluctuate between being weaker or stronger than how it was stamped, or their magic may manifest in abnormal ways, such as by attacking the wrong target, or manifesting with a more powerful effect but at the cost of reduced uses or draining the senshi to near exhaustion. These oddities may be handwaved but should be ICly noted by the character.

      These starseeds are not as ‘loud’ as others, so without something to trigger the starseed to awaken, a Mauvian may not be able to feel its erratic pulsing as they would any other Senshi who is ready to awaken. Mauvians should be reluctant to awaken a starseed that seems so turbulent, so these characters should usually be awakened in dire situations that would necessitate the risk. There should be some element of danger that would justify a need to tap into that power! Mauvains should know that erratic starseeds may manifest with dangerous power, so they should handle with care.

      The actual awakening feels no different and takes no more energy unless a player desires; these starseeds function erratically so there is wiggle room depending on plot and desire of players.

      Late Blooming Senshi will not have any noticeable difference in their energy signatures; because their energy is constantly fluctuating during their basic stage, a player may have their energy signature occasionally seem stronger or weaker but this is not a necessity. Because these senshi should have become more in sync with their starseed and magic by Super Stage, once they grow and complete their ritual their energy signature should be identical to other Senshi.

      Late Blooming Senshi have the same abilities and powers as a typical Senshi, but simply have to deal with the backlash of erratic magic!

    Late Blooming Senshi Ritual

      By the time they are ready for their first upgrade and reach Super stage, Late Blooming Senshi should be ready to stabilize their starseed. To do this, they will need to travel to their Homeworld. It is only through completing this ritual and reaching Super stage that these Senshi can comfortably control their magic.

      A Stabilization ritual will vary from person to person, but should always focus on bonding with their Homeworld. By being in sync with their world, they will also be in sync with their starseed.

      This ritual should be something symbolic or important to the character or their Homeworld. Rituals may be based on customs from their past life that they recall in a memory, or may be completely new. They simply need to be a meaningful experience. All Stabilization Ritual plots must be sent in to The Space Cauldron for approval! These plots do not need to be detailed; a simple explanation of what you want your character to do, and what it symbolizes or means to them is enough! We just need to keep track of who is undergoing the ritual!
