They’re aggressive and hostile and not having any of this holiday nonsense. Are all reindeer like this? …Or have you run into a very aggressive youma masquerading as one?

Note: If you use this for a powered battle prompt, it does not count for the ‘one youma battle per growth’ ; this is a special prompt where the creature will attack anyone. It can only be used as a battle if there are two powered characters involved; you cannot write a solo and count this as a battle, and your character must be powered to count this for a battle. The reindeer will not respond to any commands and cannot be destroyed; it will always run away before it can be defeated.

Dejanira was still out on patrol and she was hanging out watching the children with Santa when she heard a crash and some screams she rushed to the area to see what had happened and watched as the reindeer in the petting area had gotten out of their pen and were now running down the street. Her eyes went wide as she watched this and she rushed after them trying to figure out how she could help with this mess. She couldn't just let them run around the city they would hurt someone, but she also wasn't sure if she could get them back to their pen. Who thought real reindeer in the middle of a city was a good idea?

Tonight Larissa had finally remembered to bring a jacket with her while she was on patrol. As warm as she was without it, she was just that less warm she wanted to be without the jacket. If that made any sense. Either way, she was glad she had it. Especially when a live reindeer ran past her... what?

She felt the aura of another Senshi and went to find them. She did quite quickly, but the other Senshi appeared to be just as confused as she was. She ran over to the other, making sure they were both unnoticed by civilians. "Did you see what happened? I saw a reindeer, looks like it had some sort of harness on it..." She said when she got within speaking distance.

Dejanira sensed the aura coming her way and she turned when she heard the voice and said with a sigh "Yes the reindeer from the meeting with Santa area broke out and are on the loose.." She shook her head she still didn't know why they would have decided to break out. There had been other petting zoo-type things that hadn't resulted in something like this. "Do you have any experience with animals?" She mumbled she wasn't quite sure what to do with this situation she didn't want to attack the reindeer they were just animals right not youma? She sighed "We need to figure something out before someone gets hurt."

She shook her head as well. "Not much, but I might be able to help catch them if you're willing to follow. Or I can at least stop them a couple of times. But it would be better to get more in the same area at once rather than one at a time. I can only use my magic twice." She looked the other Senshi up and down. "What's your sphere? Perhaps that could help lure them?" Honestly the other's was so simple it was hard to tell what her sphere was. But that was definitely an advantage in battle at times. It made it a bit harder to attack when your enemy could guess what your magic did.

Dej nodded "Yes we can work together." She thought a moment "I'm the super senshi of raspberries, I suppose it is possible they might be attracted to the raspberry jam stranger things have happened, we could try it, I could drop a raspberry jam smash down and see if they go for it and herd them that way or we could just chase them out of the city and call animal control to capture them perhaps? We will just have to do our best I suppose." She paused and then said "Oh I'm Dejanira by the way." She offered to be polite.

Larissa smiled. "I think your power would be better for right now. I'm sure animal control has already been called. Especially if those who were in charge of the promotion don't want to get sued." She doubted it was on purpose at least. The reindeer were more likely to hurt themselves than people.

She nodded to the other. "Larissa. Wish we could have met under better circumstances, but at least it's not a fight against some Agents." She would much rather be meeting under slightly stressful circumstances than exchanging pleasantries while under attack.

"Let's see if we can lure them. My attack should be able to get them to stay, at least long enough for anyone to wrangle them. Hopefully without them getting hurt." She hoped that there were at least some animal experts that wouldn't cause harm to panicking reindeer.

Dejanira smiled and nodded and went to put down her raspberry jam to draw in the reindeer and allow Larissa to control them hopefully long enough that someone could get in and gather the animals and hopefully there would be no more problem. She watched as the reindeer came in to lick at the raspberry jam, she was glad that she was able to use her power in a way that wouldn't hurt the reindeer. She thought back on the battle with the owl and not wanting to hurt it. She was still a bit bothered that nega agent had attacked the owl with light. She then waited for Larissa to do their part.

Larissa was delighted at the other's attack attracting the reindeer. As they were distracted she used her own attack to keep them in place. The water lilies sprung up and managed to catch all of the deer, keeping them from being able to move. Luckily it seemed that the deer were interested in the plant rather than the fact that they were stuck.

It appeared that they were starting to attract some attention though. It seemed that a few civilians had managed to follow the reindeer and some of the workers were coming over as well. "I think we better get out of here. Or at least power down. If you want I can yell at them to keep their animals more secure." She said with a grin to Dejanira.

Dej nodded in agreement once she saw people arriving "I think you are right we should get out of here, I think we would still be a bit strange and out of place powered down." She was happy their powers had helped get the reindeer under control long enough for others to come and gather the creatures up.

Larissa nodded. "You're right. Best to get out of here as soon as we can. Even if it was only for a short moment, thanks for the help Dej. Glad we could meet, even if it is short." She said before moving away from the crowd and back into one of the nearby alleys. "I'll see you later Dejanira!" She said with a wave before heading off in the direction of her apartment, glad that there had been no reindeer hurt from all of the chaos.
