Quote: Prompt 2 (Paint the Night Sky): Destiny City has already had its fair share of snowfall but for the past week it’s just been constant. There hasn’t been a clear sky in days, and even when it’s not snowing it’s still too cloudy to see anything. Finally, one night, the clouds have finally thinned--only to reveal something more surprising than the suddenly good weather. A glorious display of colorful light dances over Destiny City. Auroras are uncommon in this area, but it’s something unique to see. Especially because it almost seems like the colors blend like watercolors, and look like they’re deliberately weaving around each other. As soon as he had heard what was going on Alphubel had rushed out of the apartment, powering up just so he could get a good spot to see what was going on in the sky with his telescope. His outfit was perfect for this weather! However his Wonder was much colder. Still, he kept the hood of his outfit up until he had reached his usual spot to stargaze and set up the telescope and a camera to try and catch what was happening. He was so busy with setting it up that he didn't notice any other auras in the area. If they had been Chaos then he could have been in trouble! However it seemed that there were friendly Senshi in the area and if they were to approach him he would be happy to share his telescope with them!

Vela was no longer a chaos member, she had been purified during the last major battle, but she was still coming to terms with everything she was happy that she wasn't part of the negaverse, but she felt bad for members of the chaos faction and she didn't really want to fight or hurt any of them. She spotted a powered-up figure with a telescope. Well, that was something you didn't see every day. She stopped nearby when she caught sight of the clouds drifting by in the sky and the colors appearing there. "What the heck??" She commented outloud.

Alphubel jumped when he heard the person make the loud comment. He immediately summoned his weapon, turned around and was pointed it at her, as if that would do any harm, but then realized it was a White Moon Senshi and immediately relaxed and let out a sigh when he knew it was safe. "Sorry, didn't realize you were there." He said as he stuck the staff into the ground. He liked to do it, he didn't really know why, but he figured it was some sort of beacon like "this is a safe spot" to any who found it. He couldn't help but smile at her looking at the sky. "Isn't it interesting? I had to take my telescope out here to look at it before it went away. Though it looks like it's staying, at least for the time being." He was quite excited for it! "I haven't seen you before though. I'm Alphubel, Knight of Polaris." He said, extending his hand out for a shake.

Vela turned "Huh? I wasn't talking about you really.." She looked at them curiously and wondered why they weren't more freaked out that the sky looked so weird, but maybe they were a science type, which wasn't Vela's thing. She took his hand and said "I'm Vela senshi of bonfire." It was really a pretty nice thing to be able to say, she had never been comfortable being a corrupt and now she felt bad for the chaos members who were stuck in the way of life she had been stuck in. "So are you into science then?" She said gesturing to the telescope and the sky.

Alph gave her a small smile. "Bonfire? I bet you have a really interesting Homeworld then!" Another acquaintance! A Senshi too! He seemed to be meeting more of them lately. "Astronomy specifically. I'm majoring in it. My own Wonder is a giant observatory and it's interesting to see the differences between there and here. Though I haven't seen anything like this on either! It's why I came out here as soon as I saw it and snapped a couple of quick pictures." He said, holding out his phone. He looked back at her. "Were you on patrol? I should probably do that more often myself, but college has a way of ruining those plans." He sighed. "But I'm more than happy to lend out a helping hand when needed!" He wasn't sure if the Senshi would want such help, but he did like to put himself out there. He knew how lonely it could be when there seemed to be so few on their side.

Vela frowned she had not even thought of her homeworld it just wasn't something that crossed her mind when she was a corrupt senshi now she was a white moon senshi it was something she needed to learn about. She didn't know anything about her homeworld since she had been cut off from it because of the chaos that had been in her starseed. "I've never been to my homeworld." She explained, "I was only recently purified." She said softly. She was a bit nervous about it and how others would perceive her. Then again it wasn't like she had ever chosen to serve to negaverse. Vela smiled she had met a few knights in her time and she liked them a great deal. Vela smiled "I'm still learning and getting my footing as an order senshi so any company or help is welcome." She said in a friendly tone. Vela wasn't pushing anyone away who was offerring her help. His mention of college pulled at a memory that she couldn't quite grab that bothered her. She shook her head. "Yea this sky is something else."

"Oh..." Alphubel felt a bit bad asking about it. He wondered if she was happy about it. "Well, that just means you can visit it when you have the time! I knew some others who didn't go to their Homeworld or Wonder until after a long time so don't feel like you have to go to it right away!" It was true, and sometimes he had accompanied them on their first visits. It hadn't happened too often, but he could understand the uncertainty of going to a whole new planet that one was supposed to be in charge of. It made him glad that he only had a Wonder. "I'm happy to accompany you if you need it! And I'm sure others are as well! It's a lot less nerve-wracking when you aren't by yourself. I was scared at first too, but my Wonder turned out to be an observatory and luckily there wasn't anything scary there." He made sure not to say that there were ghosts because those could be quite scary even if they were friendly. But he was pretty sure that Senshi didn't have to worry about those... "Unfortunately I'm a Knight so I don't have too much experience in the Senshi department but know others who do, including my girlfriend. If you need any advice or anything, you can come to us and ask if you want! She should be able to receive messages on her Senshi phone." At least he was pretty sure. He still had to figure out how to upgrade his ring. An embarrassment to say the least for how long he had been a Knight already. He looked up at the sky once more. "It's not often you get to see a sight like this. But everyone should see something like it at least once in their lives. Makes you appreciate it more you know?"

Vela was nervous about going to a place she was supposed to be in charge of since she had been corrupted so there had been no one to take care of her homeworld till now and she had to take that up and see what she could do to help her world. She smiled "I'll think about it, I need to find a maurivan so I can get a phone or I'd give you my connect info but if this is where you hang out I'm sure we will meet again." She nodded "Yea I might be a bit nervous but I want to help." She said with a sigh "I just have to figure out how." She gave a rueful smile at that and nothing more since she already covered not having a phone yet. Her old nega gear was worth nothing now. "I'll take any help I can get." She looked up at the sky "Yea it really is." She said softly.

Alphubel let there be a moment of silence between the two, just to appreciate the scenery. And for him to think of how to respond. It was time's like this when he wished that he was still a Squire. He wasn't sure how he had become a Knight so quickly, but he felt like he should have been a Squire for at least a few more years. He still felt like a newly awakened Page at times. "If you have your civilian phone, I can give you my number, unless you would find that weird. But there are plenty of others out there that I know of that would love to go with you to your Homeworld, including myself! You'll be able to do it once you get your phone. There's an app on there to do it." He had learned that from his girlfriend. Though when he thought about it, Senshi were quite beholden to Mauvian's weren't they? Knights could just say the words and they would be at their Wonder as long as they had their weapon. Senshi needed an app on a phone that they may have had to wait for to even go to their Homeworld. It would be quite sad if they ever lost Mauvian's. Homeworlds would stay empty and Senshi wouldn't be able to visit them anymore. "But I do come out here a lot if you aren't comfortable exchanging civilian information. With this outfit going out in the winter is no problem for me. It does get a bit warm in the summer!"[/coloir]

Vela listened and nodded "I don't have a cell phone right now, kinda had to start everything over and just got a job working at a cafe recently, so I'll just have to get back in touch with you another time or find someone else." She didn't want to give him Embly's phone number which was where she was staying till she could get enough money to get a place of her own. "I'm working on getting my new life together but it's going to take some time and of course, I have to help my homeworld now I have a connection with it." It was a strange yet wonderous thing to say.

Alph nodded, feeling a bit sad for the woman. It must be hard having to start completely over. And he wasn't sure what else she had lost besides that. Was there more? He wasn't sure but he might have to look further into it himself. "I understand. I'm out here most clear nights so if you want to find me again, here would be a good place." He said with a chuckle. Looking back up at the sky he took a moment to look at the wondrous lights. "As much as I would love to watch these all night, I do have things to do tomorrow as well. If you want I can walk back with you for a bit. Otherwise I have to start packing so I'm sure that I don't oversleep tomorrow."

Vela smiled and then nodded "I will keep that in mind." She would visit again, hopefully by then she would have her life back in more order and have a place of her own or maybe she could get a roommate and rent an apartment with another senshi that way she wouldn't have to explain where she was disappearing at night when she went out of patrol. "Don't worry I'll be alright and I'll visit again, have a good night." She said warmly. (Fin?)

Alph gave her a nod. "Be safe Vela!" He said as she went off to wherever she lived. He sighed and moved back to his equipment, putting it away carefully before giving one last look back at the lights. This was the type of magic that he wished they encountered more often. Something fantastical in all of this Order and Chaos that had yet to be explained. It was then he took off himself, ready to go back to his warm apartment. MiddyGlow End! Thank you for the rp!
