Quote: Prompt 3 (Drink Yourself Silly): Pop up shops are a dime a dozen in Destiny City this time of year, and for as much weirdness as they cause, there’s still something alluring about them. Walking through the city, you happen to come across one that seems particularly cozy and is decorated in such a way that you just know they’re trustworthy. The menu only has a few items but there’s something for everyone. Maybe it’s hot chocolate, maybe it’s coffee, maybe it’s some chilly winter sweet--whatever it is, it’s delicious. And magic, but you didn’t know that when you ordered it. It started with an itch at the back of your throat, but what happened after that was anyone’s game. Some of the drinks turn into a tickle in your nose, and now you’re suddenly sneezing snowflakes for the next hour. Maybe you finish your drink and you suddenly feel warm--like you’re in the middle of summer. (Do you even need your coat? It’s so hot! --Or is that a fever?) Or, the itch turns into something else--and suddenly you feel the urge to sing. It’s compulsive, you can’t help yourself, you must sing. It’s like you’ve forgotten how to communicate in any other way. It fades an hour after you finish the drink, but still... Clue could see his breath in the air. He didn't like it, but at least it gave him more excuses to cuddle with New and stay inside. Still, they had to get out sometime and wander around, whether it be for supplies or class. He still would have preferred to do it online while the weather outside was cold. He sighed as he walked hand in hand with New, looking at all of the street vendors that were brave enough to come out into the cold to sell their wares. He certainly wasn't brave enough. Still, they were decorated as nice as they could be and he and New couldn't help but take a few moments looking at the shops. He turned to his partner. "Any of them catch your eye?"

Next semester they were doing online only classes, he'd make sure of it. The week where the snow had not stopped had been great - every professor switched to online only till the snow stopped. It had been nice to have the ability to dress how he wanted and be more relaxed, at home, while taking his classes.
Looking over to Clue he shook his head for a moment, brought out of his own throughts of classes, and stared at the shops around them. "I think we should find some warm drinks. If anywhere has anything." And by warm he meant hot - becuase it was freezing.
"Coffee or something would be nice." Or even hot food...that wouldn't be bad either. But coffee would be prefered, they could make food when they got home.

Clue nodded in agreement. "It's too cold to be walking around without something to warm your other hand." He said with a small smile, but then took a look around the street. He saw one vendor that appeared to be selling drinks, though their booth was so heavily decorated it was hard to tell at first. Using his other hand he pointed them out. "What about there? At least it looks like they have hot drinks." He wasn't sure what exactly, but something with what appeared to be a drink on it most likely sold drinks. He hoped.

"Mmm, that and maybe a few minuets in a warm place would be nice." If they could get that lucky. He'd like to warm up, and he was sure CLue would as well, it was a cold day and it honestly felt like they were going to get more snow. They'd already had enough snow this winter, in his opinion, but he was certain they'd have even more by the end of tonight. Maybe they could watch the snow fall from their living room tonight? He liked snow...he just didn't like being out in the snow and freezing.
Turning his focus t where Clue was pointing he took a moment to stare, it really wasn't easy to tell what the booth sold. It did seem warm over there though. "I'm not sure they have drinks but we should go see, it looks warm at any rate." nodding his head, fingers giving the others hand a gentle squeeze. "Let's go." If they had drinks he'd getg them both something hot to drink, and hopefully they could find a place in doors to sit for a few.

"I'm with you. I appreciate the cold and snow and what it does, but I would rather be next to a warm fire." Maybe they could put one on the TV and pretend it was warming them up when they went back. It was a mistake to come out here anyway. He held New's hand as they walked towards the stand and it appeared that the vendor was selling all sorts of drinks, including holiday-themed coffees. At least it was better than nothing. "I'm fine with just a regular coffee." He said when the vendor turned their attention towards them. He looked at New. "You want one as well?"

A warm fire...ohhhh that sounded nice. That wasn't something he'd had back home in Thailand, it really wasn't needed, but the idea of a fire place ehre in this city was a nice one. Here it actually got cold and it snowed. Following Clue, hand held tightly by the others hand, New was content to lean into the others side as they approached the street vendor.
As the mans attention turned to them he nodded his head in agreement with Clue. "Coffee as well...a little sugar and some cream as well - if possible." Black coffee just wasn't his thing, too bitter typically, for him.
"We should find somewhere warm to drink these and then maybe head home? We can order gifts online and do whatever we need to do from home or another day." When it was warmer. They could watch the snow fall from the comfort of their home and warm up.

Clue nodded. "Yeah, I don't want to be standing around drinking outside here." As warm as the drinks were, if all they did was drink it outside it would be a pain to carry them and attempt to get around at the same time. He paid for the both of them and they were handed their coffees quite quickly. For some reason Clue was a bit suspicious at the quickness of the coffee making, but decided that it wasn't worth worrying about. "Do you want to get food to bring back as well?" It would make carrying their drinks a bit harder, but if one of them held the drinks and the other the food, they could manage to get back there. He decided to take a sip of his coffee, just to get a bit warmer.
