Prompt 2 (Paint the Night Sky): Destiny City has already had its fair share of snowfall but for the past week it’s just been constant. There hasn’t been a clear sky in days, and even when it’s not snowing it’s still too cloudy to see anything. Finally, one night, the clouds have finally thinned--only to reveal something more surprising than the suddenly good weather. A glorious display of colorful light dances over Destiny City. Auroras are uncommon in this area, but it’s something unique to see. Especially because it almost seems like the colors blend like watercolors, and look like they’re deliberately weaving around each other.

The snow had started days ago, and it hadn't stopped, and since then he'd been home. He didn't need to go to work...he really didn't. He let Rose take over her buisness again and he remained home, avoiding the cold. He didn't need to go to classes, they'd been canceled due to the heavy snow. It was dangerous and lots of roads were had to navigate due to the unrelenting snow. It was a good thing he'd stocked up on food, he never trusted the winter weather in this city, so he didn't need to worry about grocery shopping either.

He'd spent his time divided between painting, something he'd not done much of in a long while, wrapping gifts and watching movies or reading. His time was, as far as he was concerned, well spent. He did go out, on occasion, in the evenings in order to gather energy but most of the time was wasted. No one was really out in the city.

Tonight he was dressed in clothing which he didn't care much for, old and slightly worn, he was sitting in the living room with a canvas and easel in front of him. The fireplace did it's job and kept the room warm as he took a moment to look around the living room. It was decorated for the holidays but also held it's usual warm and cozy feel to it. He was happy to hear Katya in the background reading softly to herself, how odd that would look to most people, but she had taken to sticking her nose into as many books as she could...she was not about to go out in the cold and freeze.
