Prompt 2 (Paint the Night Sky): Destiny City has already had its fair share of snowfall but for the past week it’s just been constant. There hasn’t been a clear sky in days, and even when it’s not snowing it’s still too cloudy to see anything. Finally, one night, the clouds have finally thinned--only to reveal something more surprising than the suddenly good weather. A glorious display of colorful light dances over Destiny City. Auroras are uncommon in this area, but it’s something unique to see. Especially because it almost seems like the colors blend like watercolors, and look like they’re deliberately weaving around each other.
Adonis remembered, very quickly, that snow totally sucked a** when he wasn't wearing snow boots, or pants, or long sleeves, or a scarf, or earmuffs, or a hat. Adonis didn't care for the cold, despite his last name, and snow meant the cold got colder as it melted on his clothes. But, he was also remembering that cold wasn't as cutting when he was a senshi, and that his weird curled slipper boot things had deceptively more grip than he would've expected on slick surfaces.
Not that there were that many slick surfaces. The snow only stopped this afternoon, and fluffy, untouched piles of it mountained up on the sidewalks and alleyways. It was thick on the roofs, where some of it escaped to become ice, and Adonis reached up to wrench an icicle off of a low awning.
"Hey Sylv," he said as he flourished it playfully as a dagger, "you think we can spar now? Or should I find a second one?" It was dumb, and a little off topic, but they weren't really finding anyone to drain out here.
Not unless they ran into an Uber driver who slid off the road and into an embankment. But, even some of the roads looked untouched, like the whole city said <******** it, we're going back to bed.
