Quote: Winter seems to bring out the cutest of all rodents; this isn’t the first time that small, white rabbits have infested Destiny City. They’re small, rarely larger than a guinea pig, and have large eyes and wiggling noses. They are always pure white and seem to show up whenever there’s snow. They aren't menacing or evil, they're just everywhere. They seem strangely domesticated; they are sweet, curious, and friendly creatures that will eat anything you give them. They always seem cold to the touch, and when they shake, little snowflakes sprinkle off of them. While they seem to be social creatures who seem to appreciate anything warm and will cuddle up to steal body heat, they are too skittish and fast to be kept for pets. They can show up just about anywhere, either alone or--often--in pairs. They tend to wander off on their own without any trouble, but if you surprise them or try to catch or hurt them, they may bite. Their little teeth are enough to break skin, but after one bite they run away. The bite itself isn’t bad, but the effects are a bit unpleasant: for roughly two days after the bite, the injury is cold and the victim will feel random, cold, shooting pains. Their core body temperature will drop and they will often be sent into random fits of shivering. No medicine seems to help, and no amounts of blankets or hot baths can soothe the chill. You're just going to have to deal with it and hope it gets better… Most experiences with the bunnies are perfectly pleasant, you just have to worry about them burrowing. There are holes peppering Destiny City, and with the fresh fallen snow it can be impossible to tell where they are hiding. The holes range from small holes to several feet deep, so can be a minor inconvenience to a potential hazard. On the bright side, sometimes you wind up covered in bunnies looking for warmth from their sudden guest. On the other hand, there are a rising number of trips to the hospital for twists and sprains. The bunnies always leave with the snow, so best to enjoy them--or avoid them--for as long as you can. Celadonite normally enjoyed winter. There were great fashions to be had in the winter….but ever since getting bit by that damn white rabbit yesterday, he had been so cold. Stupidly cold. Irrationally cold. Even now, he was wrapped up in a blanket as he searched the area for more of those damn rabbits. If they were going to get him sick like this…then he was going to make them into glorious hats for his teammates.
Faustite would look great in fur, and he was quite sure that the himbo would enjoy some rabbit fur gloves.
Who wouldn’t? Especially since they were clearly demon rabbits with poison fangs.
His weapon...was still a joke, but the toy portion was clutched in his hand, ready to bop the bunnies on the head. Hopefully he would be able to give enough of a bop to see that they didn’t wake up again…and then well.
Christmas gifts would be taken care of.
The lieutenant shivered as he searched, feeling a twinge nearby but ignoring it when he saw one of the quivering pink noses poke out from under the snow, and he pounced, landing face first in the fluffy cold mess.

With each careful footstep, snow crunched beneath her boots while snow fell in a quiet hush. While some found comfort in the constant sound of rain, or the far off rumble of lightning, Alcor found solace in frozen moments such as this. As an ice skater as well as an employee and partial owner of an ice rink, her body had long since become accustomed to these freezing temperatures. With the hood pulled up over her head, the fur-trimmed coat kept her warm enough, as did the tall boots that were blessedly slip resistant when it came to walking on icy streets. There was no sign of goosebumps or bouncing kneecaps to indicate that the senshi was affected by the weather. But perhaps her sphere might play at least a partial role in the reason she was wandering around as if it were early Fall instead of Winter. Lost in her own thoughts, the Senshi of Cold paused with a cotton tailed rabbit bound out from the adjacent alleyway. Looking up at her with black beady eyes it’s small nose twitched and Alcor slowly lowered herself to her knee and held a hand out to it. The curious critter seemed apprehensive at first but hesitantly bound over to her and after a moment allowed the young woman to pick it up and hold it close within the folds of her oversized coat. Alcor ran the back of her fingers over the little one's incredibly soft fur and it settled comfortably in her arms. No words were spoken as she continued down the street, only pausing when an aura feathered the edge of her senses. It was low ranking, a lieutenant or perhaps corrupt. Instincts told her to set the rabbit down carefully and walk the other way. Power down, get in her car and go home. Yet, her feet did not seem inclined to obey and within a few moments, Alcor stood close enough to observe someone face down and a** up in the snow. By no means did she feel inclined to ask if they were ok, or offer any measure of assistance and instead looked on unamused with a brow raised questioningly.

When Celadonite pushed himself up, he sighed, anger burning even hotter at the damn rabbits. He paused when he saw the senshi and scowled once again. “Oh. Well then. Guess I have an audience. Are you here to bash some rabbits too?” He got back to his feet, brushing snow off of his front and scoffing, looking around for another one of the dumb rabbits.
“Don’t let them bite you, or you’ll end up dying of cold for the rest of forever.” His words were a growl and he saw another one and sneered, jumping for it again and managing to get his hands around the rabbit’s ears and with a triumphant yell he held it out, clutching his weapon tightly. “If you help me catch some more, I’ll make you a rabbit fur muff to go with that pretty outfit of yours.”

While a part of her appreciated the warning, Alcor felt certain enough it wasn’t something she needed to worry about. The rabbit she had found trusted her enough to let her hold it, however, seeing the Lieutenants behavior, and feeling the Senshi’s body go rigid, the snowy animal kicked its strong back legs and leaped from her arms leaving behind a light trail of snow dust to gently fall to the ground. It was a puzzling thing to see but not entirely unexpected since this wasn’t the first time she had encountered similar small white bunnies this time of year Alcor watched for a moment, brows furrowing as he lifted his arm and made senseless threats to a creature that, she assumed, couldn’t understand a word he was saying. “My coat works just fine,” she commented coldly. A frustrated growl filled the area and while she should have seized the opportunity to leave, the Senshi of Cold instead found herself leaning down to scoop a handful of snow. “Touch of Cold,” she whispered, causing both hands to turn blue and the snow to become a more solid ball. One that wouldn’t explode in a flurry of flakes before impact but rather one that would at least hold its shape and perhaps stick to him if her aim was accurate enough. She repeated this motion two more times before her magic expired. “Leave them alone,” Alcor spoke firmly, rising to her feet while bringing one arm back and throwing the snowball at the preoccupied Lieutenant.

“Leave them alone? Are you crazy? They’re diseased or–” Celadonite’s words were cut off as the snowball collided with his face, causing him to drop the fluffy white monster in surprise. “What the actual ********? I’m trying to actually do the damn city a favor and you’re over here…”
God. He was so cold. Stupidly cold, and the ice ball hadn’t helped any. The shivering became more violent and Celadonite clamped his teeth together to try and keep them from chattering. Finally he had simply had enough, and the idea of going and just letting Faustite burn him sounded better than this oppressing cold. “You know what? Fine. I’ll leave them alone. If that’s what you think is the best idea, I hope you get bit by one.”
He sneered and reached down, snagging one by the neck, pleased to feel the creature squirming in his hand and swiftly moved towards the senshi. When he was close enough, he flung the rabbit at her, hoping that it would find some nice flesh to sink it’s horrible little teeth into and spread the curse or whatever it had given to him.
“Enjoy it, ******** you, and goodnight.”
His words were bitter and he ran off, pulling out his tablet as he did so and sending a message to his General, hoping that He could spend the night next to the warm fire that was the half youma.

Perhaps she should have tried catching the little rabbit as it was haphazardly thrown in her direction. Instead, Alcor sidestepped to avoid getting scratched by the flailing kicks. Small nibbles she could handle, but possibly having her arm slashed was not something she was prepared to deal with. Thankfully it landed in a mound of soft snow, the weight of it creating a small hole where it had become buried. With her distracted, the Lieutenant seized the opportunity to flee the scene leaving her standing there flabbergasted by the strange event. The guy had mentioned getting sick from their bites and she wondered if those were words from first-hand experience or because someone he knew was not feeling well. Ultimately it didn’t matter, her emotions were as cold as her sphere might suggest and she held no measure of concern for him. Alcor knelt and offered a hand out to the soft creature that she had previously held. Unfortunately, its wariness did not melt into a precious curiosity after being thrown several feet. Its tiny nose twitched nervously, eyes blinking in a way that made her believe it no longer saw her as a friend or ally. “It’s ok,” her voice carried a sad note as she rose again. “I understand…” Alcor turned to leave the snowy animal so it could tend to its friends in peace.
