One of the most reclusive villages in all the land. This Village lies on the island to the east of Wind country, to the west of Tea country and to the south of Fire and River country. One of the main reasons this village has remained removed from the rest of the world is that simply no one can find the place. It remains veiled behind multiple layers of Genjutsu which are only lifted on the night of the full moon while the casters are allowed to recover. The only way to find the place in the day light or any other time that isn’t the full moon is too not look for the place at all; essentially you have to be lost to even stand a chance of entering the village. The genjutsus protecting the village are so strong that the mere thought of trying to go to this village will end up sending you in the wrong direction. This village dropped off the map after the last true shinobi wars it’s involvement in these wars were what made them decide to isolate themselves form the rest of the world. Now years later their numbers have increased and newcomers are slowly finding their way into the village.
Clans
Orimara Clan- Joint rulers of Moon, this clan’s Kekkei Genkai have given them the power to dominate over the other clans of Moon for hundreds of years. This clan possesses the feared Kikuta eye, also known as the grey eyes, or moon eyes. This doujutsu is present in only 50% of the clan, while the other 50% of the clan are born blind. Those born with sight are gifted with grey eyes not unlike those of a Hyuuga. Unlike the eyes of the Uchiha or Hyuuga the Kikuta gaze cannot see through genjutsu and solid objects or copy jutsus like the others can, but what they can do is cause memory loss, sleep and instant paralysis with just one look. The techniques needed to master the Kikuta gaze take years to learn, but when perfected none dare look into the eyes of an Orimara Clan master. The Orimara clan bears the full moon as the crest on all of their clothing.
Orimara Clan (Branch)- These children for some unknown reason are only born on the night of the new moon when there is no moonlight. Like the night itself these members of the Orimara branch clan have no light in their lives because they are born blind. Though they lack sight their other senses are at such a high level that they basically don’t need their eyes to see everything around them. They fight using the Nakagawa style which consists of reacting to the slightest movements and shifts in the air currents. The masters of this clan actually have the ability to see the future in the form of visions when their eyes temporarily glow like those of the main branch. This part of the family has served the main branch for as long as anyone can remember and up until the shinobi wars the peace between the two parts was preserved. During the war the branch family revolted, but the uprising was put down and now they bear a curse seal that ensures the obedience of every one of the branch members. This mark can be found on the right shoulder of every child of the branch family in the form of a ying yang mark. The branch family bears no distinctive crest on their clothing. Mayonaka Clan- This clan is one of ancient mages and spell casters specializing in genjutsu who have traditionally ruled over Hidden Moon. They are the clan that keeps the whole island hidden from the rest of the world. The members of the Mayonaka traditionally know where the moon is at any given time of day or night and can see moonlight during the day. They are famous for bending moonlight around them to create some of the most powerful and convincing genjutsus the world have ever seen. Even the most trained ninja have trouble differentiating between reality and the worlds of Mayonaka clan genjutsu. They are also famous for their use of the war fan as their main battle weapon. This clan bears a set of three clouds obscuring the moon as the crest on all their clothing. Gekkou Clan- Though no one knew it, Chunin examiner Gekkou Hayate wasn’t born in Leaf, he was actually born in the village of Moon. The Gekkou family is one of the clans that were almost destroyed by the shinobi wars. How Hayate ended up in Leaf no one knows, but what most think is that he went looking for the cure to the disease that plagued the family since the shinobi wars. This disease is a virus that eats the afflicted from the inside out; no one in the family has ever survived past the age of 38. The symptoms of the disease are exhibited in sallow skin, dark eyes, coughing and in later stages tremors. Some believe this clan to be under some ancient curse that will only be lifted when an obscure prophecy is fulfilled. Before the clan contracted this strange ailment they were the some of the top swordsmen in all of the land and despite their ailment, they still are. This family possesses the Heron with its winged outspread as their crest.

Orimara Hanzo
[ N ] Night Vision - 550 Chakra ( +5 Perception at Night ) By sending chakra to the eyes the user can increase their night vision. The downside to this jutsu is the use of chakra causes the eyes to glow and will tend to give away the users position. [ N ] Shooting Star Gaze - 1600 Chakra ( Perception vs Opponent's Perception. Success = Opponent's Speed - 20 ) By expelling chakra from the eyes if a link can be formed between opponent and user for a 3 seconds then the opponent will be hit by a stunning force comparable to a sucker punch to the sternum, effectively knocking the wind out of the target. Kikuta Gaze Lvl 1 Attained at 15K Skill Points: ( While under moonlight, +5 Perception, +5 Reaction ) The clan member’s eyes enter into the crescent moon shape. When under moonlight the reflexes of a person using the Kikuta gaze in it’s first form are considerably faster than normal. Even with no light or while affected by the darkness of a genjutsu, they can see as if by a dim light. [ G ] Kikuta Sleep Lvl 1 - 500 Chakra ( Resolve+5 ) At level one the Kikuta gaze can put an opponent to into a daze after 5 seconds of eye contact. This daze like state is comparable to have one to many cups of Saki, but only last for a few minutes. [ N ] Kikuta Glare Lvl 1 - 800 Chakra ( Opponent's Reaction -5 )This piercing stare at level one is known to stop an opponent in their tracks after 6 seconds of eye contact. This numbing of the limbs is only a temporary paralysis of the 4 major limbs which makes the fingers clumsy and uncoordinated, but won’t stop an opponent from swinging a sword. [ G ] Kikuta Dream Lvl 1 - 1000 Chakra ( Resolve+10 ) This hypnotic gaze will trap the opponent after 7 seconds of eye contact. After the contact is established the opponent will lose sight of where they are and what they're doing at the time and think back to a happier time. The opponent will be woken easily from this state by any outside stimuli. [ N ] Kikuta Glow Lvl 1 - 400 Chakra ( +/- 5 Perception, for allies/enemies, not self. ) The user's body begins to glow brightly. This technique can be used to help allies to see (by being a human lantern) or to make it hard for an enemy to see them in certain lighting conditions. The user can also decide who can see the light and who cannot. [ G ] Kikuta Clone Jutsu Lvl 1 - 500 Chakra ( Resolve+5 for each clone. Costs 1/2 in moonlight ) The user creates illusionary doubles out of moonlight. The chakra cost is slightly reduced by the moonlight. The clones are totally incorporeal, and can move like smoke around physical objects. [ G ] Kikuta Illusion - 600 Chakra ( The user creates ghostly objects using moonlight. They are incorporeal, and unaffected by physical strikes. A skillful ninja can make it difficult to tell which objects are real, and the bright light tends to ruin the enemy's night vision, improving the effect. Kikuta Gaze Lvl 2 Attained at 30K skill points: ( While in moonlight, Perception +10. Reaction +10. Does not stack with Level 1. ) The clan member’s eyes enter into the half moon shape. When under moonlight the reflexes of a person using the Kikuta gaze in its second form are much faster, beyond the reach of a normal ninja. Even with no light or while affected by the darkness of a genjutsu, they can see as if by torchlight. [ G ] Kikuta Sleep Lvl 2 - 1100 Chakra ( Resolve +10 ) At level two the Kikuta gaze can knock an opponent out after four seconds of eye contact. At this level it simply isn’t a dazed state, but full knocked out sleep. Though the sleep isn’t very heavy or long lasting a kick or punch or anything of that nature will wake them up. [ N ] Kikuta Glare Lvl 2 - 1600 Chakra ( Opponent's Reaction -15 ) The piercing gaze of the Orimara at level two has been known to stop an opponent after only 5 seconds of eye contact. The numbing of the body is more serious at this stage with the fingers unable to move to form hand seals or even grip a sword properly. Movement of the legs and other limbs in a general manner is still possible if not slightly slowed. [ N ] Kikuta Glow Lvl 2 - 800 Chakra ( +/- 5 Perception for allies/opponents and self. ) An object of the user's choice begins to glow very brightly. This technique can be used to help allies to see (by creating a lantern) or to make it hard for an enemy to see them in certain lighting conditions. The user can also decide who can see the light and who cannot. [ N ] Kikuta Clone Jutsu Lvl 2 - 1000 Chakra ( Resolve+5 for each clone. Spirit+5 Damage per clone. Costs 1/2 when in moonlight ) The user creates illusionary doubles out of moonlight that can attack with physical strikes. The chakra cost is slightly reduced by the moonlight. The clones do not have much weight, and so will be destroyed by a heavy blow. Kikuta Gaze Lvl 3 Attained at 50K skill points: ( +15 Perception, +15 Reaction while in moonlight. Does not stack with previous levels ) The clan member’s eyes enter into the waxing gibbous stage. When under moonlight the reflexes of a person using the Kikuta gaze in its third form are superhuman. Even with no light or while affected by the darkness of a genjutsu, they can see as if by daylight. [ N ] Kikuta Clone Jutsu Lvl 3 - 1500 Chakra ( Resolve+5 per clone, Spirit+10 Damage. Costs reduced by 1/2 while in moonlight )The user creates illusionary doubles out of moonlight that can use jutsu and attack with physical strikes. The chakra cost is somewhat reduced by the moonlight, enabling the user to create a fairly large amount of clones if much chakra is expended. Kikuta Gaze Lvl 4 Attained at 65K skill points: ( +20 Perception, +20 Reaction while in moonlight. Does not stack with previous levels. ) The final stage of the Kikuta eye, the clan member’s eyes enters the full moon form completely filling the user’s eye. When under the moonlight, the reflexes of a person using the Kikuta gaze in its final form are so fast that their every movement is a blur, traceable only by special means. In low light, no light, or while affected by the darkness of a genjutsu, they can see almost twice as well as their normal vision. [ N ] Kikuta Clone Jutsu Lvl 4 - 2000 Chakra ( Resolve+5 per clone, Spirit+15 Damage ) The user creates illusionary doubles out of moonlight that can use jutsu and attack with physical strikes. The chakra cost is cut to a mere fraction by the moonlight, enabling the user to create dozens of clones with nearly a good fraction the strength of the original. [ G ] Kikuta Sleep Lvl 4 - 2000 Chakra ( Resolve+20 ) At the final level of the Kikuta gaze, a user can knock an opponent after two seconds of eye contact. At this level it simply isn’t an unconscious state, but more of a comatose like state that would need serious outside stimuli to be awaken from. This is the ultimate attack of the Kikuta eye. [ N ] Kikuta Glare Lvl 4 - 3600 Chakra ( Opponent's Reaction - 25. Perception vs Opponent's Resolve ) The piercing gaze of the Orimara at its final level has been known to stop an opponent after only 2 seconds of eye contact. Once the contact is made the whole opponents nervous system will shut down leaving them in a completely paralyzed state, except for a few random misfires of signals. This state can last up to a whole minute; during the time that they are being affected by the glare any damage won’t be felt considering the electrical signals sent to the brain won’t be firing. Opponents have been known to die from shock from all of the wounds incurred being realized at one time. [ G ] Kikuta Dream Lvl 4 - 4000 Chakra ( Resolve +40 )The hardest of all Kikuta skills to learn, once an Orimara clan member gains the highest level of the Kikuta eye they will be able to lock their opponent in a hugely powerful illusion. After 3 seconds of eye contact the afflicted person will lose all sense of what they were doing at the time and be locked inside either one of their happiest memories or one of their most horrible, it all depends on how the Orimara clan member chooses. This state can last anywhere from 1 minute to 10 hours at the level of Kage. [g]
Orimara Hattori (Branch)
[ T ] Second Sight - 400 Chakra ( -Sight based perception while in use. +1/2 Perception added to Perception ) Is the process of cutting off the vision and increasing the other senses exponentially. This technique isn’t limited only to the blind, but almost anyone can learn it. [t] [ T ] Nakagawa Style - 900 Chakra ( Reaction + 1/4 Spirit ) Is taught by first catching fish in a river. Once a practitioner is in the center of a river, they must focus extending their chakra into the area around them. The next step is to learn how to notice the most subtle changes in the currents. This phase of the training usually end in the catching of a fish with ones bare hands. The next phase is hand to hand combat which consist of the substantially harder task of extending ones chakra into the air around them. Once learned a user seems to be able to predict an opponent’s move before they even move. [ N ] Harmonics - 1500 Chakra ( Spirit+10 vs Resolve ) By either whistling or slapping their staff on an object like a tuning fork, the user can emit a high pitch at can disorient opponents for 1 post if successful. By using their sharpened sense of hearing, the user can also increase his field of vision mentally if his eyes are failing him. It also increases the aura range of the fighter x2 for 4 posts whether or not the attack is successful. [ T ] Chakra Aura Lvl 1 - 2000 Chakra ( +15 Reaction. Taijutsu listed deal 5 additional damage. )By relaxing the users tenketsu, they can allow a very little amount of chakra to slowly seep out as it fills an invisible bubble with a range of 5-10 feet. The user is always the center of the bubble so where he/she goes, the bubble range follows. It is invisible to the naked eye but not to Doujutsu and third eye style techniques. Using this technique allows the user to “SEE” using his/her chakra and allows them preemptively dodge and attack their opponent. For non branch family users: If Chakra Aura is not deactivated in 10 posts (+ 2 post downtime) , the user runs out of chakra due to lack of focus and training in the skill. No matter what Rank you are. Branch Family members are NOT affected by this side effect. Slightly Enhances: Nakagawa Style, Gentle Fist, Iron Fist, Drunken Fist, Monkey Kung Fu, and Crane Style attacks (MUST know Second Sight, do not have to use Second Sight in conjunction) [ N ] Night of the New Moon - 700 Chakra [ Branch Family ]Not only is this when the Branch family is at their strongest, but they actually posses the power to hide the moon for short periods of time. By using a disk of dark energy any lunar rays can be blocked out keeping the whole area in the utmost dark at night. [ T ] Chakra Aura Lvl 2 Attained at 30K skill points: [ Branch Family ] ( +20 Reaction. +10 Speed. +5 Defense. Listed Taijutsu deal 10 additional damage. Does not stack with previous level ) In the second stage of this Branch family only secret, they learn how to manipulate their chakra to increase their field of “vision” x2 fold (15-20 feet). They use less chakra to keep the aura open. If an opponent enters the aura, the user can manipulate his/her chakra to send a punch of chakra to minorly hit their opponent every 4 posts. (Punch does not count in 2 technique per post limit) Is noticeable to Doujutsu users and third eye style attacks. Enhances: Nakagawa Style, Gentle Fist, and Drunken Fist Style Attacks. [ T ] Chakra Aura Lvl 3 Attained at 50K skill points: [ Branch Family ] ( +20 Reflex, +15 Speed. +10 Defense. Listed Taijutsu deal 15 additional damage. Does not stack with previous level ) In the final stage, the user fully masters their chakra flow to where the smallest amount can fill his aura vision x3 (25-30 feet) The user is also granted a Trump Card in the form of field explosion as well as the chakra punch. If the user is near death and believes that they will lose, he/she can pour the last of their chakra (but not enough to kill them) into their aura field. When their opponent enters the field, the user can trigger a chain reaction inside the bubble to MASSIVELY damage the opponent. In order to escape the explosion, the opponent MUST roll one 10 sided die in their next post, rolling a 1 or a 10 grants them the ability to escape with no damage. (Because they are inside the bubble with the explosion all around them) The user of the attack falls unconscious for 2 days as their chakra gathers. The aura is noticeable to Doujutsu users and Third eye style attacks Greatly enhances: Nakagawa Style Attacks Staff of the Wanderer - 400 Chakra [ Branch Family ] Though the Orimara Branch Family pride themselves on their hand-to-hand combat, certain members also create and employ their own staves. These Orimara clan created weapons are lightweight for fast combat and created to be nearly unbreakable with the metal-esque material they are made from in the moon village. Each staff is tailor made to the user and slightly decorative. They normally stand about 6 to 8 feet but can include blades on the ends or hidden compartments if the user sees fit. They also seem to have a tiny hole in the middle of the staff and are easily manipulative to their users chakra. Staff of the Mage - 700 Chakra [ Branch Family ] A further modification of the Wanderer's Staff. This particular sealing technique outwardly appears to be a simple design etched into a staff, but in reality this simple interlocking pattern of leaves is a seal of 1 jutsu chosen by the user. A skilled clan member can prepare a jutsu and store it in their staff or stave for months before it looses it's potency. The process of applying the seal is time consuming and should not be attempted mid-battle. [ T ] Bojutsu 2000 Skill Points: [ Branch Family ] ( Strength+10 Damage, +10 Speed while wielding their Staff. ) Through careful training they can lean to block incoming projectiles, inter lock limbs, poke tenketsu closed (with chakra manipulation), crush the very earth in slamming attacks, toss opponents or themselves, combine the weapon with other hand to hand attacks as well as many other practical uses. Users become one with their weapon to the point where they can sense vibrations through the staff and act accordingly. (MUST have Staff of the Wanderer) [ N ] Will o' the Wisp - 1000 Chakra [ Branch Family ] ( 1/2 Spirit + 10 Damage per post. ) Once an opponent enters an Orimara’s aura range, the user uses the sign of the dragon to intensify the heat inside his/her invisible bubble. Immediately inside the aura range, the victims speed and strength begin to slow as their skin slowly begins to boil in pain. If more than 5 posts go by and the jutsu is not deactivated, the User starts to feel the same symptoms as their victim. (MUST know Aura Lvl 1) [ N ] Cold of the Void - 1500 Chakra [ Branch Family ] ( Opponent recieves 1/2 Spirit +10 debuff to Speed and 1/2 Spirit +5 debuff to Defense, while inside aura. ) Once an opponent enters an Orimara’s aura range, the user uses the sign of the ox to decrease the temperature inside his/her invisible bubble. Immediately inside the aura range, the victims speed and strength begin to slow as their skin slowly begins to freeze in a cold as harsh as the void. If more than 5 posts go by and the jutsu is not deactivated, the User starts to feel the same symptoms as their victim. (MUST know Aura Lvl 2) [ N ] Monkey Whip - 1600 Chakra [ Branch Family ] ( Speed+5 vs Opponent's Reaction. Strength+10 Damage. ) Using chakra to manipulate the staff, the user can lengthen the staff to 6 times its length (roughly 60-70 feet) and/or increase it’s width x10, making it into a make shift club if need be. If no weapon is available the user leaps into the air and cartwheel kicks his opponent in the head. In one swift moment before the opponent can react, the user flips backwards and strikes the opponent again, sending them flying back as the user flips back to the same spot he started the attack from. (MUST know Bojutsu) Shadow of the Moon Attain 40K Chakra - 2500 Chakra [ Branch Family ] The secret technique of the Branch family, this technique is never even spoken of outside of the branch family halls. Once the night of the new moon is reached or induced a Branch clan member can open their eyes and for a short time gain all the powers of the main family relative to their power level without training to learn the skills. When in this state their curse seal can’t even affect them. This technique can only be learned by the most promising branch members and each is sworn to never use it in the presence of a main branch family member.
Old Man Kenji
[ N ] Moon Shadow - 800 Chakra [ Moon Ninja ] The user of this technique can move moonlight at will, causing some areas to become completely devoid of light, while others become much brighter. Typical uses for this technique are blinding an enemy and causing their pupils to contract, creating darkness through which to move unseen, and revealing the position of a concealed enemy. [Must learn this technique before the rest of Old Man Kenji's techniques] [ N ] Lunar Eclipse - 1200 Chakra [ Moon Ninja ] For a few minutes the sun can be obscured by a disk of floating moonlight created by the user. Lasts for 5 posts. [ N ] Lunar Remedy 650 Skill Points: [ Moon Ninja ] ( 1/2 Spirit+5 health returned per post in moonlight ) A technique that takes in moonlight and changes the light energy into healing energy which will repair minor to mid-level injuries on the user. The healing effects only last as long as the user stays in the moonlight. [ N ] Celestial Guard 700 Chakra [Moon Ninja ] The user can take moonlight and create a wall impervious to all, even the most powerful elemental attacks, but can be passed through with physical attacks. [ N ] White Lightning - 1500 Chakra [ Moon Ninja ] ( Spirit+15 Damage )Collecting energy from moonlight, the energy once gathered on a single finger, usually the index, the user will the be able to shoot a straight beam meant to pierce defenses, but not meant to kill unless directed at a vital organ. [ N ] Lunar Phase - 2000 Chakra [Moon Ninja] ( 1/2 Spirit+20 Health healed if used in moonlight. Doubles Chakra costs if used for healing, +2000 additional every post after first to maintain. ) The body of the person using this technique is transformed, along with clothes and weapons, into moonlight. They are completely incorporeal and cannot touch or be touched by physical objects or forces. They cannot pass through solid surfaces, but can "flow" around objects as if they were made of mist. Physical injuries are rapidly healed if the user is in strong moonlight, but the chakra drain on the user is intense. [ N ] Lunar Destruction - 5000 Chakra [Moon Ninja] ( Resolve+20 vs any incoming attack, to maintain concentration. ( Spirit+30 ) x 100 Chakra drained, per post. User pays cost per post. ) If the user of this jutsu can maintain concentration, they can slowly drain one foe's chakra. At first it is very slow, but the rate increases over time until, after several minutes, the enemy's chance of survival is nothing short of pitiful. Be they Genin or Kage, none can survive this technique for very long as long as the user maintains concentration. The chakra is released into the air as moonlight visible to all.
Gekkou Akuma
[ T ] Hero’s Stomp - 400 ChakraUsing a single stomp infused with chakra a true warrior has been known to knock back a ring of approaching opponents. [ N ]Hero’s Aura 1000 Chakra ( Spirit+10 Damage ) It has been said that a true warrior could extend their aura around them to huge proportions and then increase the pressure in the area creating a huge crater around themselves. [ T ] Hero’s Fury - 1500 Chakra ( -15 Resolve, -15 Intelligence, +20 Defense, +20 Strength, +5 Speed. ) When enraged a true hero can become an unstoppable juggernaut, who no matter how many wounds received or illusions casts upon them will continue to fight. This frenzied state is only compounded by the introduction of alcohol to the system, but is not necessary. Once enraged a fighter will not stop fighting until either victory is achieved or their bodies give out, running away from battle no longer is an option. A state not for the weak of heart. [ K ] Hero's Celestial Crescent - 1500 Chakra ( Strength+1/2 Spirit Damage, uses full Spirit when under moonlight ) With one slash of a blade the user is able to launch an attack of a crescent of wave of equal size to the blade used. This techniques effectiveness increases under the light of the moon. [ N ] Dance of the Crescent Moon - 700 Chakra ( Opponent's Reaction -5. User's Defense -10. Strength+10 Damage for attack ) This is an advanced Ninjutsu technique used by the ninja Gekkou Hayate. As the ninja charges at his opponent, he creates multiple shadow copies to confuse his opponent. Using the confusion, the real ninja will attack from the opponents blindside. [ N ] Dance of the Half Moon - 1000 Chakra ( Opponent's Reaction -10. User's Defense -15. Strength+15 Damage for attack ) The second form of the Gekkou clan sword dances. The number of distractions increases exponentially until it appears that there are near 25 of the same warriors all in one straight line with the opponent at the end. They move in a straight line each illusion cutting at a different height hiding the real blade strike, all the opponents’ attempts to block the illusionary blades will fail and leave the opponent open to a slash at whatever part of the body is unguarded. [ N ] Dance of the Gibbous Moon - 1500 Chakra ( Opponent's Reaction -15. User's Defense -20. Strength+20 Damage for attack ) The Third form of the Gekkou clan sword skills. The warrior will this time create an even larger numbers of clones. This particular sword technique requires a double sword style. Once the clones have been created they form 10 long snaking lines that all focus in on the opponent from the center. Then as the last file past the user will seem to appear to be attacking from above as a hidden clone attacks from above, but in reality the user appears from under ground behind the opponent piercing the opponent’s leg anchoring them to the ground and then driving the other blade through the back. [ N ] Dance of the Full Moon - 2500 Chakra ( Opponent's Reaction -25. User's Defense -30. Strength+30 Damage for attack ) The final and most powerful of the Gekkou clan dances. This attack requires the use of full shadow clones. The user will create rings upon rings of clones both real and illusionary circling the opponent till the lines between each becomes blurred. Then the rings tighten and the inner rings attack and the outer rings all leap into the air and come crashing down from above. The magnitude of this attack is immense and almost inescapable if preformed correctly. Across the Nightingale Floor - 1700 Chakra ( +10 Perception, -5 Opponent's Perception ) An advanced art of stealth the user is able to pick up the slightest of movements from tremors in the earth and can be alerted to attacks coming from miles away. Conversely the user is able to move with no sound at all their feet seeming to fly over the ground. [ N ] Grass for His Pillow - 750 ChakraA grass based maneuver that creates a thick forest of grass around both user and opponent. If one should struggle against it or try to burn it, the grass will only continue to grow and intertwine around the adversary and choke them to death. If they put up no fight both combatants will be sent into a restful state for five minutes. After the time expires both combatants will awake refreshed as when they started the battle. The grass will then wilt and the fight will continue. Brilliance of the Moon 2700 Skill Points: ( Resolve+25 ) A closely guarded secret of the Gekkou clan, this art relies on storing mass amounts of chakra into the blade that each clan member wears. This chakra infused blade can be reinforced by letting a blade rest under the moonlight for one whole night. Once fully powered this technique lies dormant until circumstances warrant its use. The real purpose of this technique is a method of breaking a genjutsu. Once locked within the confines of even the most powerful genjutsu, Brilliance of the Moon can release one from the confines of their own mind with the whole genjutsu world seemingly flooded by the moonlight coming from the user’s blade. If the user can successfully flood the whole area with the power of the moon the genjutsu will shatter. [ N ] Harsh Cry of the Heron - 3000 Chakra ( Speed + 1/2 Spirit. Add +20 Damage per every 3000 chakra placed into attack. ) Yet another secret technique of the Gekkou style. In this technique a Gekkou clan member launches themselves at an opponent from a distance. This attack is one that can only be fueled by pure rage. Once a state of utter anger is achieved the user seems to sprout bird like wings that make them seem to hover above the ground as they charge the opponent. Not only does their chakra manifest itself in the form of wings but also in the blade of the user. Moments before the attack connects the whole user is obscured by chakra to the point that they appear as a huge pure white Heron with their blade as the beak. This attack finishes with the user bringing down the blade in one earth shattering blow with all the chakra flowing straight into the blade. This attack puts a huge strain on the users body, but when it connects with an opponent this attack is capable of slicing through blade, body and earth all in one stroke. This is the attack that has made this clan famous. [ T ] Lunar Lotus - 5000 Chakra ( Speed+25. Speed VS Opponent's Reaction. Strength+25 Damage ) A fearsome taijutsu technique used for assassination purposes. This attack at first appears to be the Harsh Cry of the Heron, but midway through the charge most chakra disappears from the user’s body as they seem to disappear closing the distance. Once they reappear they seem to slash at the opponent’s neck with their blade only to pull up short drawing a concealed short sword and striking the opponent square in the chest with hilt of the blade knocking all the air out of the opponent’s lungs. This then opens up the opponents to a flurry of blows with the hilts of both blades mostly aimed at the chest area meant to break the opponent’s ribs. After the short rain of blows the user hits the opponent in the jaw with the hilt of the blade knocking them high into the air. The user then leaps up shadowing them until they reach the top of the arc. Once they reach the apex of the blow the user spins in a tight circle striking the opponent at the base of the neck in a move meant to disable the opponent further by paralyzing them. The user seems to hover as the opponent rockets to the ground, smashing into the earth and creating a large crater. Then the user floats gracefully down driving the long blade through the user’s exposed back all the way down to the hilt. The Cure - 3000 Chakra ( Sucks to be the RPer that gets hit with this! ) The most forbidden technique in all of Hidden Moon. This technique taps into the dark roots of Hidden Moon’s techniques. Back to a time when the shinobi wars raged and people were dying by the thousands due to an unknown and incurable disease. It ravaged the body and mind slowly driving the afflicted insane. And why does none of this disease exist today? Because being the noble warriors that they were at the height of the wars the Gekkou clan devised a secret way of drawing other people’s sickness and disease into themselves. These fierce warriors became the healers of the land sucking up the raging disease into themselves to save all of the other countries. This technique is the reversal of the technique that saved so many lives. Through a reverse set of hand seals including some that aren’t even used in the standard set a Gekkou clan member can transfer this disease to another for a short time with a single touch, or any sort of contact between combatants. The new afflicted will be struck with the full force of the disease for however long the user has lived with it all in an instant. Once free from the debilitating disease the Gekkou clan member returns to their former health and in the process regaining all of the might they enjoyed before the shinobi wars when they were feared as the most powerful swordsmen ever to walk this earth. ((Must learn every other Gekkou Clan technique before learning this one))
Takeo Mayonaka
[ G ] Infinite Hallway - 1000 Chakra ( Resolve+10 ) A genjutsu that is cast upon the opponent with a simple look and a simple set of hand seals. Once locked in the genjutsu an opponent will be faced with a huge wall with a set of sliding doors bearing the crest of the Mayonaka clan as the rest of the world disappears around them. As the opponent tries to move forward the sliding doors will open to reveal yet another set of sliding doors. Unlike most genjutsus this attack also affects the opponent’s body making their bodies move as if they were really trying to go forward. This attack has been known to have a radius of 5 miles and is mostly used as a defensive technique to make opponents leave. [ G ] Boundless Phantom - 500 Chakra ( Resolve+5 ) This genjutsu affects the opponent’s eyes as the electrical signals are sent from the eyes to the brain. This genjutsu gets rid of some the images that are being sent to the brain so that the opponent sees as if things have rapidly sped up and that the user keeps disappearing only to reappear in a different place. This attack is meant to confuse and disorient the opponent. [ G ] Reverse the Stars - 3000 Chakra ( Resolve+20, All genjutsu cast within this place have +10 to Resolve ) One of the Mayonaka’s clan’s most powerful techniques, this jutsu takes the opponent and casts them into an alternate dimension. For the most part this world is the same, except for the small part where the sky is down and the earth is up and the combatants are floating in the middle. The sky below the fighters is always stark white while it’s dotted by the stars that would normally be in the night sky, but these stars are the color of the blackest void. It’s is in this strange dimension that genjutsu aren’t simply things of the mind, but actually happen to the body. This dimension is mildly hard to break out of; a user must posses an attack of either extreme light or extreme shadow or darkness to tear a hole back into the normal world. [ G ] Weight of the stars - 2000 Chakra ( Resolve+20 ) This genjutsu's main use is the interrogation of captured shinobi. This technique requires eye contact to initiate and once initiated the opponent is cast back into their own mind where both user and opponent are on a flat white plain. The opponent is laid out spread eagled, legs spread apart and arms sticking straight out. Then from above, a set of 4 medium sized stars descend from above. These stars are by no means the size of what an actual star is viewed from up close, but more the size of a large boulder. These stars also don’t have the same heat level as your average star, but to the user’s mind it still seems pretty damn hot. One star descends down on each of the opponent’s limbs, the heat and weight that is perceived by the mind is incredible. Once the genjutsu is over even the most skilled ninja have trouble using their arms and legs, because their brain still thinks that their limbs have been crushed to a fine powder and burnt to a crisp. [ N ] Celestial Flame - 500 Chakra ( Spirit+5 Damage per Fireball. ) Most people tend to assume that since this clan uses genjutsu that they don’t posses any ninjutsu and that assumption is usually what ends up getting them killed. With a set of hand seals Mayonaka clan member can conjure a ball of pale flames into their hands. This fire can be thrown at the opponent to catch them off guard with a physical attack. Every time one of the pale orbs is thrown it is replenished by another until the user discontinues the jutsu. [ G ] Phantasm Redux - 700 Chakra ( Resolve+5, if the Opponent is using Clones: Resolve+15 ) This technique makes the user seem like a clone of the opponent while the opponent seems to become the person they were just fighting. This technique relies on a human’s basic instinct not to do damage to themselves. This technique is much more powerful then your average henge and it only affect the eye of the opponent letting the battle continue on. This attack was meant to disorient an opponent to get them to drop their guard. [ N ] Curse of the Moon 5000 Skill Points: ( Strength+15, Speed+20, Spirit+15. All damage also gains +1/2 Resolve. Chakra costs double every post, until all remaining chakra is used. ) Like almost every other clan of Hidden Moon they too posses a secret technique. Under the light of the full moon a skilled Mayonaka clan member can bring all the surrounding shadows around them and wrap themselves in a cocoon of tightly woven shadows. When the user emerges they are completely different from when they went in. They are shrouded in crimson chakra and their eyes glow blood red. They grow horns and razor sharp claws and become inhuman beasts of destruction with immensely increased speed, strength and spirit. This attack is only used as a clan member’s trump card due to the fact that once all their chakra is exhausted by this technique they require 3 days to recover before being able to perform any genjutsu or ninjutsu. [ G ] Burning Apocalypse - 2500 Chakra ( Resolve+25 ) One of the most powerful of all the Mayonaka clan techniques. This technique has been known to make whole armies turn and run. This technique relies on human perception of their surroundings. Once a set of hand seals are completed a veritable firestorm emerges from the user’s body sweeping across the area. If for even a moment the opponent believes that the fire sweeping towards them to engulf is real, then that is what it will become using the opponents own chakra to do so. Even if the opponent doesn’t believe in the intense flames it still takes a lot for an opponent to get their mind over the fact that they have to walk through fire to get at the user.
Katja had been meditating a ways from the Hidden Leaf when the attack started, though she had heard the explosions and the screaming, snapping her out of her trance, and into action, sprinting as quickly as her bare feet would take her, abandoning the path altogether, and cutting through the forest, leaping over fallen trees, and nearly spraining an ankle on a hidden root. She did not let this slow her as she made her way as quickly as she could to the source of the trouble, as she had been trained to do.
She saw the smoke before she saw the village, rising up in a thick black column, portending the destruction that awaited just through the trees, jut out of sight.
When she arrived, the Village was in ruins. People were screaming as they died. Explosions continued to rock the village every few seconds. She charged her way down the once-familiar pathways of her home, though they were nearly unrecognizable in this state. The Attacking shinobi were quick, much faster than she was, despite all her training. These were no mere academy students.
As she made chase, another explosion went off, just to her side, sending her sailing through the air. She cracked her head on the cobble and everything went black for a few moments, as the world swirled around her.
More screaming. More Explosions. A figure in a hat, weilding some kind of weapons he was unfamiliar with, that made a loud blast of its own. As the world faded from her, she passively recognized that they were leaving. After that, everything went black.

When Katja woke, she was lying in a medical-nin bed, and it was dark. Her head still hurt, but she managed to swing her legs around the side of the bed, and stood, shakily. She reached up to feel the bandages that were wrapped around her injury, gingerly prodding the sore spot, as if testing to make sure her skull was intact, which it was.
She looked around her, to see that she was in one of many beds crammed into a large room, each filled with bodies in varying states of injury, some minor, and some just barely clinging to life. The medical-nin paid her no attention as she made her way through the sea of beds, and out of the makeshift hospital ward.
She had been too weak. She had been useless to help these people, useless to stand against these foreign invaders who aimed to destroy her village and kill her people.
Katja was ashamed. She was guilty.
Without a word, she left her village, not knowing where she was heading, only knowing that when she returned, she would be a stronger, faster, more fierce shinobi.

Katja had spent time among many of the other villages, in her pursuit of Taijutsu arts, but she had never been to Hidden Moon. This was her first destination.
Finding the Village had been the most difficult task, a task made intentionally difficult by the shinobi here. This had taken her a few days, but when she had figured out the trick, it was as easy as walking into town.
She looked around at the moonlit streets, somewhat overwhelmed, and unsure where to even look for Taijutsu in a place like this.
Also having borne witness to the horrors of the multiple piles of the dead that he had grown up around, Katsurou had made the choice to go onto to the home village of his mother... Hidden Moon. It was a rather dark village, primarily lit by the light of the moon that hung over head. Something about it even felt rather comforting to him being there, despite this being the first time. A soft chuckle left his lips before he clutched his chest and began to cough. It was partly due to the decease that ravaged his body, a curse from his mother's bloodline, and that of the gunshot he had suffered in the defense of Katana. The male swordsman takes in a shallow breath, before spitting blood to the dirt road, "It... is only getting worse, due to this blasted wound." He would sigh while pushing off the nearby wall and keep walking. Luckily, to his knowledge none of the defenders should have seen his poor performance in defense.
Rounding a corner, Katsurou's gaze falls on a slender, muscle toned, and lovely woman walking the streets much like himself. His eyes meet hers for but a moment before he looks away, 'She is lovely, but damn... she looks tough.' The male tried to remain quit as he continued his trip through the village... his aim was to the training grounds used by the Gekkou Clan member. That is until he tries to take and hold a deep breath resulting in a coughing fit that causes him to lean against a nearby wall. His left hand gripping his right chest where he was shot by one of those black armored invaders. The fit is so powerful that it actually takes the young Gekkou to his knees while coughing up blood.

Katja had been wandering for a few minutes. She stuck out like a sore thumb here, she knew, and the averted gazes did not pass her recognition, as she wandered through the streets, a bandage wrapped around her head still from the wounds she had sustained in the invasion, before she could even mount a defense of her people.
She had no idea where she was going, what techniques could be learned here, and if these people would even be willing to teach them to her, and this whole endeavor was beginning to feel foolish from the start.
She was so lost in her own thoughts that she nearly ran head-on into another person, a young shinobi, who seemed to be suffering from some kind of illness, judging from the cough. She muttered her ‘excuse me’, as she passed the stranger.
A few steps past that, she heard him drop to his knees.
Whipping around, Katja made the distance between them in a few strides.
”Are you ok?” she asked, concern clear in her voice, as she knelt next to the ailing Shinobi, looking him over for the first time.
He was young, likely as young as she was, perhaps younger. Despite his youth, it was clear he was wounded. Wounded in battle. Just as she was. That meant he was a stranger here too, to this place that had not seen battle in generations.
”Here, let me help you up. My name is Hyuuga Katja, of the Hidden Leaf. I’m a friend.”
It was not long before that young, toned shinobi girl was kneeling long side him, and Katsurou was honestly surprised. His left hand dropped from his chest as he caught his breath from the coughing fit that plagued him. "I... will be... fine." He stated between breathes before standing to his feet once more, though a bit weakly and shakily. "Name is... Muramasa Katsurou of Hidden Katana." Still ragged looking as he was unable to breathe deeply or center himself due to it. "I was just shot when trying to defend Hidden Katana... so the wound is rather fresh... and it complicates my... condition." When speaking the young male seemed to not want to go into what this 'condition' was though. Katsurou forced a smile through the pain while leaning his back against the wall of the building. "You said... Hidden Leaf? And a Hyuuga no less? Little far from home... What brings you all the way out here?" Not that Katsurou was not happy to see someone that identified as a friend. His non-gauntlet hand reaching out to her in a manner of friendliness and welcoming, though it is a bit shaky from his last fit. Giving a single firm nod, Katsurou speaks out once more to his new friend, "I should add... it is not contagious... neither the wound or the condition." The last bit added in with a playful tone to emphasis the joking nature. "It... is my... first time here as well, but perhaps we can wonder lost together? You seem like quite the reliable sort."

”Reliable… If only...”, Katja thought, the memory of her failure to protect her home still fresh and stinging in her mind, as she watched the injured shinobi stand shakily to his feet, and reach out a trembling hand for a handshake, speaking vaguely of his medical condition, and more specifically about his wounds.
She took the hand without hesitation as the boy introduced himself, shaking it, seemingly undisturbed by the illness that left him coughing every few moments.
As they wandered, she finally got around to answering him.
”I was training in the forest when the black shinobi came. I heard the explosions, and ran as fast as I could but when I arrived the village was overrun. I… there was nothing I could do. I tried to muster some kind of defense, but before I could do anything, there was an explosion, and I was out. I woke up in a medical tent and the village was burned…”
She paused for a moment, seemingly falling prey to her own thoughts, before snapping back to reality.
”I’m here to train. I could not defend my home, my people. I was not strong enough. I need to be better.”
As they continued walking, she fell silent for a few moments, before seeming to remember that she had company. Injured company.
”If we’re going to wander, we better wander towards a medical-nin. That wound does not look good…”
Was rather surprised when the toned Hyuuga started to tell him her reason for coming out of her way to train out in such a far-off village such as Moon. Katsurou waited till the end and gives a few solemn nods, "I see... then fear not as I failed my own people in Hidden Katana. I was just coming back from the academy when they attacked... they had killed so many, and so quickly, but when I tried to jump in and avenge the fallen... I was shot and they escaped. Worse yet... some of my best skills hardly even affected them." Slowly the male pushes himself from the wall, "... that is why I came. Mother was a Gekkou... though I only have rumors on that. This disease took her shortly after I was born." Shaking the thought from his head, Katsurou gripped his hand clad in the black metal gauntlet. "I too need to be stronger..." He basically echo'ed Katja's reasoning and justifications for coming so far out. His train of thought was derailed as the young Hyuuga asked about seeing a Medical Ninja if they were to wander aimlessly. A soft sigh leaving his lips as his gaze falls on the wound, "While that is not exactly aimless... you are correct. I need to be checked out before I can seriously train." It was a shame that he would have to put his own mission on hold to deal with this wound before he overstressed himself or worse.

Katja nodded solemnly as her worst fears were confirmed. This had been a coordinated attack, and the attackers had many powerful shinobi at their disposal. It had been peaceful for a long time, and that peace had been broken suddenly and without warning by enemies far greater than they had the strength to oppose. Even the village elders had been unable to protect her home. It seemed that it had been no different in the Hidden Katana.
She did not let her feelings of pity or understanding show on her face as the boy divulged that he was of the Gekkou blood. She knew what that meant. She had heard of their ancestor’s sacrifice, and the curse it left upon their descendents. This boy was likely rushing to his death, faster than most. A death no amount of training or self-discipline could prevent.
”Then we will be stronger. Together. Whoever attacked Hidden Katana also Attacked Hidden Leaf, and if someone was brave enough to do something that bold, and strong enough to get away with it, then we will all need to prepare for the trials to come.”
She took a moment and a breath as she ended her impromptu speech, the tears brimming in her eyes. Tears of shame and failure, showing only a fraction of what she felt inside. She composed herself before turning to look at Katsurou. The boy was grievously injured, and she was going on about her own failure. She felt selfish.
”But first… Lets find a Medical-Nin.”
She offered an arm around him in support, in case he lost his footing in a coughing fit again, as they began their search for someone to treat his wounds. She felt another pang of disappointment in herself that despite all of her ability to manipulate the chakra of others, she had no skill in using that to heal. Only to hurt.
That would be something she would have to learn, and soon. Another failure on her part.
Enkou walked into Hidden Moon village on the night of the full moon. Not that he knew it was, being blind he had no clue what phase the moon was in. He wandered the village until he found people practicing techniques. He watched them practice in his own way, following the heat they gave off. Eventually, he talked to some people and found someone willing to train him in some of the techniques the branch family of the Orimara knew. The first was a technique that he was already used to the drawback of, named Second Sight. The technique blinded you in exchange for making your other senses stronger. For someone already blind, it only made you stronger. The second was Nakagawa Style, a Taijutsu style that helped one read the area using chakra projection. He made it to the stage of the training where one used it to catch fish with their bare hands. The final technique he trained in for the time was Chakra Aura, which allowed him to project chakra and increase his ability to sense his surroundings. He trained these techniques for a while before taking a rest, finding somewhere that sold food, and sat down for a meal of ramen with eggs and strips of steak. It was a delicious meal, well cooked. From the way he moved his head while eating, anyone looking could tell he was blind, but still able to tell where his surrounding were. He also ate without making a mess, knowing exactly where his hot meal was at all times.

It had been some time since the end of the Chuunin Exams since Katsurou had seen his friend… the wild Tiger that was Hyuuga Katja. They had trained together in Hidden Moon before having a match during the exams. It was a close Karachi with both on their last leg when the young Gekkou had won via showing of his clan’s sword dances with his modified white heron style. Now Muramasa had created the most unique bow since then... it is a black gauntlet, and its actual projectiles were the clawed tips on the gauntlet. The teen male scratches the back of his head as he looks up to the night sky. “It has been rather boring as of late… I wonder if Katja passed and is doing well?” He rolls his eyes softly while letting out a soft sigh when the sounds of villagers screaming is heard. An odd sound of clicking and gobbling coming from the outskirts towards the village. A massive flock of turkeys moving in and attacking villagers while they ran to find safety behind closed doors and windows. “Hey! You stupid birdbrains! Why no pick on someone capable of fending for themselves.” He draws the long sword on his back as he slides into the opening position of Shirasagi no Jou, and a pair of large, white heron style wings unfolding from his upper back, around his shoulder blades. These wings, despite their look, where made purely of chakra.
A kick off the ground and a flap of those silvery white wings, and the young male was airborne as he levels that black gauntlet as the tips of the weapon fire off and fly towards multiple of the turkeys running towards the village. The black metal tips fire from the clawed gauntlet making their way to the rampaging birds. A grin crossing his face as each of the five 'claws' fly through the air and striking the beasts in clean shots through each of their heads. The longer claw from the middle digit even whipping back to strike another bird in its head. Katsurou cannot help but wonder what his taijutsu based friend would say of this new weapon... but it help in countering one of his main weaknesses: range. "Do I have your attention now, hmm?" Small, white feathers falling around the male as those large wings flap to keep him in the air. Each of the feathers slowly dissolving into nothingness as they fall from those heron-like wings.

Hyuuga Katja had been travelling when the turkeys came, first in packs, and then in swarms. She found herself alone in the forest, surrounded by hungry eyes, sharpened beaks ready to tear flesh from bone. A reckoning.
She had been hard-pressed to defend herself as the birds descended upon her, but she had managed to survive the onslaught for a time. As soon as they had arrived, as if called off by some unknown commander, the turkeys simply left.
Katja, now scratched and bloodied, but not seriously injured, continued on her journey.
After the Chunnin Exams, Katja had taken to training almost incessantly. Her strength of body and mind had grown in leaps and bounds, and she was happy to get a chance to take a break and go visit her friend, the only one she had taken the time to make in her short career as a shinobi.
A new sense of concern was playing at the back of her mind, now, with the arrival of these turkeys, and their swift departure. If they had left the forest to head to Hidden Moon, Katsu would be in danger.
With renewed effort, she made her way through the trees. ---
After a short time, she made her way to the Village Itself, which looked to have been the recent setting of a battle. Feathers and bodies lay everywhere, but the shinobi seemed mostly intact. Katja was thankful for that.
She made her way around the village until she found Katsurou, who was just now putting down the last of the fowl most foul, his own pair of majestic wings sprouting from his back.
She waited for his strike to land and the victim to fall, before offering a shy wave in his direction.
A soft smile crossed the airborne male’s face as he caught a glimpse of his friend entering the village near the final wave of killing turkey’s, but before he could land, or greet her, there was a wave of animated cookies wielding candle canes like spears and swords. A small series of gingerbread leap from the roof towards Katja, but the Gekkou swordsman leveled his clawed gauntlet once more, before firing off another series of ‘talons’ to strike the falling cookies. Each one ripping through at least one sending their crumbs falling down on and around the Hyuuga fighter. Katsurou then swept in with a grin, “Hello friend… I haven’t seen you since the Chuunin Exams. Did ya pass?” While he talked his eyes darted back and forth looking for a foe, but the rage he was in earlier limited his view and caused him to lose any real focus on finding these small cookie soldiers. “Lots of weird s**t has been happening since then as well. Turkeys… now Cookies.”

Katja’s senses had developed quite a bit in her time away from her moon-clan friend, and she was spinning to deliver a kick of her own to the airborn assailant as Katsurou made his strike, mere moments ahead of her, the crumbs raining down upon the pair of them as Katja relaxed her stance, and her companion greeted her as if nothing had happened. She did her best to push the momentary embarrassment out of her mind as she smiled at Katsu.
”I did pass… but not in the way I had hoped. I have been training a lot so I can do better next time. I’m just glad that I did so poorly when it was a test, and no lives were on the line.”
Katja had been beating herself up quite a bit since chunnin exams, far more than her opponents had. That she had lost her matches took any pride out of the passing of the exams, and the Chunnin rank she had obtained. She would have to do better next time, and to do that, she would have to train ceaselessly. Harder than anyone else.
In truth, she had not intended to abandon her dear and only friend after the exams. She had simply let that aspect of her life fall away for a time, so dedicated was she to her training.
This dedication had paid off, in some ways. She was much stronger, faster, and more skilled than she had been when Katsurou had last seen her. And with the coming of these turkeys, and now gingerbread men, she would have a chance to exhibit the fruits of her labor, the boon that her lack of communication had bought her.
Just out of sight, from just around the corner, the sound of stampering baked feet could be heard approaching, a new wave of ginger.
”I think we should catch up after we deal with this. You in the air, me on the ground?”
Katja’s stance shifted, as did her eyes, beginning to shift to a neon-green, their glow tinting the area around them in the dim moonlight of the village. Dust kicked up around Katja’s feet in response to her assuming a fighting stance.
Enkou resumes training the next day, practicing the techniques he wanted to learn. He felt he had mastered being able to use the Second Sight technique, so he moved on to the Nakagawa Style, a taijutsu style that lets one sense their surroundings with chakra projection. He progresses farther with it today, actually sparring with some people while trying to use it. He then trained in the Chakra Aura technique, which allowed him to project chakra and increase his ability to sense his surroundings. He trained these techniques for a while before trying to find a place to rest. However, before he finds somewhere to rest, he hears screaming and the sounds of people fighting. He rushes over to it, and finds out that people are being attacked. He can’t tell what it is, they don’t have heat signatures, he can only sense them by sound and smell. Whatever they were, they smelled very strongly of gingerbread. First he uses the technique he had just mastered, the Second Sight technique. His eyes were covered in a black film, but since he was already blind it did nothing. Then a black aura formed around his ears and the rest of his face, enhancing his other senses. This let him hear the sounds and smell the scent of the strange attackers more easily. He then unleashes a very fast kick into one of the enemies, the end of his foot trailing in flames. The kick made contact with something not human. It crumbled under his foot. He then follows it up with a flaming punch, and this time it crumbled completely, burning up as it fell. And this time he could feel the sensation of what he had punched. A sensation that made no sense. He had just punched a gingerbread man. Not letting this confusing surprise slow him down, he wades into the fight letting his ears and nose lead him into the smells of peppermint and gingerbread.
