It was the third night the cat had patrolled Destiny City since his return and he was weary. Perhaps in his absence from the city he had grown undisciplined. Being out for yet another night was wearing on his bones. Perhaps he was getting too old for this. Still he pressed on like a cat that needed to make up for all he had missed these last years. Perhaps tonight Tama would. He sensed a presence just as he had the last two nights. What was it this time? ☆

Arsenolite was proud of himself. He was a Captain now, and he had been for a short amount of time. And in that short amount of time, he'd finally won a damn fight, and gotten his first kill. He was really quite chuffed with himself and his accolades. He sensed a cat's aura and grinned. Oh, lovely. If he could kill a cat... Well, he'd be the cat's meow back at the Negaverse. He crept towards it, slowly, carefully. It could've been with a civillian who wasn't just a civillian, after all.

As the signature became stronger, Tama wondered why he had left Japan and came again to this city. It has been peaceful those two years that he and the boy had lived together. He had grown up in Japan all those years ago before he had awakened. And, though he had but normal feline memories from that time — hazy and undefined as they were — something about the place felt like home. Familiar, yet in a way that was hard to describe even now. Yuri would go to his college classes in the study abroad program and Tama would rat the streets. Being part Japanese bobtail helped him blend in and not draw attention. Still, his instincts kicked in every now and again. But the city that they stayed in didn’t seem to have any powered signatures around. Perhaps they had gotten lucky. Tama knew this was the break Yuri needed… But much of him had missed being a Mauvian — being involved in the world of senshi and knights, agents and guardians. The being that pinged on his radar practically pulsed now. As he turned the corner, he was face-to-face with an agent of the Negaverse. Only in Destiny City, he thought. ☆

Arsenolite grinned when he saw the cat wasn't alone. "Here, kitty kitty," he said menacingly, aiming a kick at the cat and hoping that there were no civillians looking, because he really didn't want to hurt animals or be known as someone who would—but this cat hardly counted as an animal.

This agent was calling to him in that silly voice that was supposed to be menacing. Kitty, kitty.Just who did he think he was calling him that? Tama’s nub of a tail bristled in response. The kick was easy to avoid since the man had clearly revealed his exact location with his little taunt. “You just tried to kick me on top of your little kitty taunts.” He said with utmost indignation. “How rude!”He attempted to bite the man’s kicking foot. ☆

"I mean, you're an a*****e cat," he pointed out, watching the cat bite on his boot. Yeah, those teeth weren't going to go anywhere, with his leather boots. Maybe if they were some cheap, shitty Walmart boots, but whatever magic gave him this outfit when he became Arsenolite, made sure to give him sturdy leather boots. "What's really rude is invading planet Earth and bringing all your shitty little alien friends to life here. Keep them off our planet," he snarled, grabbing his bow off his back and swinging it at the cat.

Me? An ‘a*****e cat’? Surely, the man meant someone else.Tama was perfect in every way, thank you. And polite to boot! “Invading? Hardly. That what you people did.” He scoffed, barely avoiding taking the full force of the swing. Still, being as small as he was in this form, he still toppled over as it swept his hind limbs. Just one well-aimed hit and he would have to go running. Tama was no fool. He knew he couldn’t win, but taunting the agent was just so much fun. ☆

Arsenolite snarled. "Oh yeah? Then how come all your alien freaks are waking up on our planet?" he demanded. "We didn't ask for any of this. Your Senshi started this whole ******** mess, the entire damned thing! If it hadn't been for you all showing up on our planet, we wouldn't have ever needed to stand up and fight. I was born here, not reborn here after living some crazy life up in the ******** stars and then getting that magic. The only magic I have is the kind I accepted into myself after learning I needed to fight a war, not the deep, evil magic that your Senshi-kind have, that invades regular people and turns them inside out from who they were." His chest was heaving after his little rant, watching the cat carefully. Internally, he chided himself for monologueing like an a*****e, but he was ready for an attack. Or to attack.

For a moment, Tama thought the man had a point. I mean, a Mauvian was the foreign entity here. It was true. He wasn’t from Earth. “Perhaps that means you think you have the right to kill me?” He said slyly as he jumped high, beamed the man with his forehead star right in the chest with as much power as he could, and used his back legs to kick off the general like a springboard. “Well, you’ll have to catch me first!”And he sped off, hopefully before the general could recover from the stun of his ‘deep, evil’ magic. ☆
