It was nice to have a purpose again, or rather…feeling as though she had a purpose again. All of the research that Bellite was doing, once again on youma, and trying to find out anything she could about Lysithea meant that she really enjoyed her walks in the evening around the city, even when it did bring her in proximity of people that she would rather avoid.
Tonight it was another person who wore the colors and symbols of Saturn.
“A good evening to you. I’m Captain Bellite.” Unfortunately, this one was as strong as she was, so the idea of bullying him to get a possible exploration of another Wonder wasn’t possible but...charming her way into one might be.
“You’re of Saturn, are you not? Another friend of mine is a Knight of Saturn, I don’t know if you know him, his name is Michel? Though, I think there’s more to it, that’s the only part that I remember.”
She laughed softly and held out a hand, fully intending to be as open and friendly as she could.

Aokigahara was not, on the whole, inclined to trust a Negaverse officer that came to him with extended hands and promises of friendship. Their entire organization, to his mind, was built on blood and pain and suffering, and he wasn't inclined to give any oft hem a pass for a friendly chat.
Not now, at least. Not after what they'd done. Once upon a time, he'd shrugged off what the Negaverse was capable of; bodies were sometimes the price of doing less than legal business; but seeing a starseed shattered before his very eyes had been....well.
Eye-opening.
And this Captain's friendly overtures--she seemed so confident that he would...what, roll over and take her hand and kiss it? Absolutely not. Not tonight, not ever.
"What, exactly, are you playing at?" He asked, eyeing the Captain's extended hand. "Because if you intend to try and fish information out of me, I'm not going to give it to you."

Goodness gracious. It seemed as though all of the little knights she was running into lately all thought she was some kind of super spy only there to get information out of them. And...while that was mostly the truth, Bellite hated being seen like that. At least let her feel like she was a little subtle. Though, perhaps the real issue was that others weren’t so subtle...and that was simply a shame.
But, this was fine. If he wanted to know what she wanted well.
Letting her hand drop, Bellite shrugged. “I would like to see your Wonder. I enjoy them, I’ve been up to one on Mercury and it was rather fantastic…”
She raised her hands in another shrugging gesture, one that she hoped was translated as peaceful. “If you were willing or able to show me around yours, I would be very grateful.”

Aokigahara regarded her with intense, unhappy mistrust. His Wodner was so recently cleared of negative influences, he wasn't eager to give her a chance to ******** around with anything up there.
On the one hand, what harm could she do--but on the other, what if, by bringing a Chaotic visitor, he offended whatever energies remained? He was not eager to test out that possibility so soon after things had begun to improve on his Wonder.
"I would strongly prefer not to," he said, finally. "My Wonder is quite volatile, and has reacted poorly to other visitors in the past. And no offense, but I'm not sure it would take kindly to a Negaverse officer." There was a lightness in his tone that belied the fact that he was, distinctly, unhappy with even the prospect of inviting her onto his personal, private ground.
"And I personally dislike bringing strangers. There's not much to see anyway," he lied, blandly, "just an old graveyard."

“Mm. An Elephant Graveyard is no place for a young prince. I see.” Bellite nodded and rolled her eyes slightly, amused by his refusal, but pleased it hadn’t been such a bullshit reason, or hadn’t been simply him going crazy and telling her no out of hand. “Volatile doesn’t sound that great, so I suppose that’s all right.”
It wasn’t. She was annoyed and the gleam in her eyes was proof enough of it. THat and the axe that appeared in her hand. “I suppose that we’ll just have to find something else fun to do, hm? I suppose...I could use some exercise.”
She grinned suddenly, lunging for him and swinging her axe. “If I cut your head off, I'll get myself a nice little top hat to wear. Sounds like a win to me.”

Well. That reaction just about completely validated his feelings on the whole situation. Aokigahara was pretty sure that "trying to axe-murder him" was a very good reason to not trust someone, and apparently, this Captain had just been waiting for a reason.
Should he maybe have acquiesced to her demands? Maybe. But it was equally possible that if his Wonder reacted poorly to her, she would have just tried to kill him then.
The good news was, he was quick on his feet.
"It'd look ridiculous on you," he said, dryly, as he moved back and out of the way of her axe swing. "Also, this really isn't the way ot persuade me into changing my mind."
Still, he would prefer not to continue this, and he'd had good luck lately with his magic ending fights fairly quickly. So he called on it, bringing up the moaning, grasping ghosts, and hoped that once again,t he inherent nastiness of his spell would make another officer turn tail and flee. It seemed to work so well every other time, this would be a great chance for it to work again.

“You wouldn't change your mind if I had a good argument either. I understand that no means no, so I’ll do what I please after.”
The ghosts made her pause. His magic, his...whatever this was. Bellite froze and watched it for a few moments, and then moved to attack the ghosts, idly wondering if it would do damage to the Squire, it seemed as good of an idea as any...and...well.
It felt good to attack something.
She didn’t run from the attack, but he had plenty of time to. Her focus was completely on the moaning creepies.

It wasn't exactly the result Aokigahara had expected, but a result that meant that the officer who was threatening him was sufficiently distracted hacking away at his magic rather than hacking away at him was better than the alternative.
So he took advantage of her distraction to turn, and run, getting as much space between her and him as possible.
