Bellite was walking through the hall, heading back to her office when she spotted the Corrupt Mauvian. A black fluffy creature that had some silver bangles and earrings. The Captain bit back a squeal of utter delight and sped up slightly, not giving the creature a chance to run away before she scooped it up into her arms, carrying it like a baby.
“I apologize for the intrusion, but I’ve never had the chance to have a conversation with a Mauvian before, and now that you’re here and I’m here, I’m going to take that chance.”
The distance to her office was crossed quickly, and when she got them both inside, she swiftly headed to her desk, plopping the fluffy black creature on top of it and staring with eyes that were sparkling with excitement.
“So! I’m Captain Bellite, What’s your name, and do you have a senshi that you’re bound to? What’s it like being a cat, what do you like to eat...and what’s the hardest part of awakening senshi? How do you...how do you know? What does it feel like when you know? Is it a tingle or like...pain that you feel?”
She fired off question after question and pulled out a notebook from the desk drawer, opening it and pressing a pen to the paper. “I want to know everything.”

One of the mauvian's ears flicked in the general direction of the approaching click clack of heels. A confused chirrup left her as she was scooped up. She blinked, fur standing on edge for a minute as Bellite carried her off in the direction of her office. Another noise escaped as she was deposited on the desk and watched with ernest. Well, this was definitely different. "Iolite.." She said slowly, at first. "My name, is Iolite. I'm not bound to anyone." That was not to say she did not have favorite's though. Why be bound to one, when she could collect multiple? Iolite tilted her head, confused. "...Cat.. like?" How was she to explain that. "It... has it's advantages I guess?" As for food... "As long as it's not wet cat food or kibble..." Gross. Ah. She was wondering when someone would finally ask her this. "Your guess, is as good as mine Captain."

“Iolite! That’s such a sweet name, and I have decided that I adore you.” She drew a bag out of subspace, filled with fast food fried chicken and pulled two paper plates from the drawer in her desk, pulling apart some chicken and placing some mashed potatoes and gravy on it before pushing it towards the Mauvian.
“Considering I don’t eat cat food, you’re safe. Now then.”
Bellite took a bite of her own chicken, watching Iolite with bright interest as she chewed. “You’re not bound to anyone, good, good. How long have you been serving the Negaverse? Who grooms you so nicely, you are beautiful, you know.”
Tapping a finger on her chin, Bellite sighed. “Tell me, do you know anything about the new senshi who were brought to the right path in that battle the other day? Have you met any of them?”

Iolite blinked as her ears swiveled back in confusion. Though she seemed to perk up as the bag crinkled and she inched forward in curiosity. She glanced between the Captain and the offered food for a minute before sniffing tentatively at the offering. "I honestly couldn't tell you." She hadn't bothered to keep track. "I've been in the Negaverse for as long as I've been... active, though. If that helps any." She hadn't heard of many reports of Mauvian's switching sides. She wondered idly if it was even possible. She scoffed lightly. "I am not bound." She repeated. "To a senshi, or as a pet. I can take care of myself." That wasn't always the case mind you. Kerberos had helped in the beginning... Before... "I have not come across any, yet. Though I had heard of the... festivities. It seems like all parties involved did not walk away without a few scratches.."

Bellite took a bite of her chicken leg and chewed, thinking over the Mauvian’s words. Clearly she was a little touchy about not being bound, but there was nothing wrong with that. Clearly she just hadn’t found the right person yet, that was all. “Of course you can take care of yourself. You’re not helpless. You’re smarter and more clever than most humans, honestly the only thing I could see holding you back is a lack of thumbs.”
She allowed herself a grin and filled her plate with some potatoes. “I enjoy knowledge. My General had an issue where he turned his friend into a youma by mistake, I was working to help them. They have both been saved but. I find youma fascinating. Senshi too, but.” Giving a slow grin, Bellite sighed. “I’ve finally bonded to a youma, one who was a senshi, so I have the best of everything I think. I do hope she’ll allow me to study her. She was part of the whole...thing.”

Iolite sniffed again at the food in front of her before tentatively nibbling at a piece of the chicken. "A lack of thumbs is a bit of an issue but... There areThough she paused when the Captain's words registered with her. "....Who was your General?" She asked, suddenly quiet. "And this friend of theirs?" Iolite knew who they were. How could she not. "Do you know what's become of them?" The cat bit into her offered food, trying to make it look like she didn't know more then she did. "Were you having issues bonding before?" Io scrunched up her noise in the thought of a senshi turned youma, but there was little she as a cat, could do about it. "I suppose, by having a two in one package, you have good test subject." Iolite looked up for a moment, before a quiet noise left her. "How unfortunate." She sighed softly. "Not for you but, talk about wrong time, wrong place."

“Mm. General Sanidine. He vanished a few years ago. I think something happened to his youma. Honestly, that was one of the things that I was worried about, I didn’t have trouble bonding to a youma...I just hadn’t found one that I was willing to risk my sanity on, if that makes sense.”
Quietly, Bellite scooped a fork full of potatoes into her mouth, humming softly as she thought about Angora’s fate. “Terrible timing, I won’t deny it. But I’m glad that she’s with someone that can take care of her. Someone who wants to take care of her, and not just wondering alone in the rift. At least while she’s bonded to me, she has a home. Has a person that she can call her own. Even if she’s not…”
The Captain shrugged. “Human anymore.” She gave Iolite a tired smile. “I do what I can. I think that the fact that I was there meant it was supposed to be.”

Iolite froze. Oh... Oh so it was them. Io wrapped her tail around her feet, unsure what to do with herself. She chewed idley on a piece of meat, mulling over her words. "...I would think that situation is different though... Wouldn't you think? He'd turned his friend into something he didn't intend. Short of purification, there's no way to reverse that is there? So that means his friend was stuck that way." Iolite flattened her ears against her head. "His youma situation is different then yours. Of course it's going to take on a different mental strain." "Wandering... the rift isn't so bad... from what I've heard. I had a friend... who was a youma. He never complained much about the rift." But then again, Airi wasn't meant to be there. A soul like that, shouldn't have had to endure the things he had, in such a place. Iolite sighed. "It is unfortunate... that we can not undo the process without entirely purifying. It's a shame we can not save her from that fate, and keep her as a corrupted."

Bellite nodded, sighing softly. “I agree with that completely. I know that the youma are important and I love the fact that we have them, but I find that it’s better to have officers rather than mindless creatures. Even half youma are better than full youma, but. I suppose it’s easy enough to keep a youma in line rather than having it be someone who is a flight risk.”
She leaned back and shrugged, moving to pet the cat once again. “Regardless of everything, I’m happy to have my little Angora. I’ll see that she’s treated with all the love that she deserves. And if I can find a way to bring back some humanity to her, that’s great. If not, she’s perfect as she is.”
But…the idea of figuring out how to help was appealing, and perhaps she’d have to look into it a little closer when she had a moment.
