Theme Song: Base Traits: Distrustful. Loyal. Abrasive. Serious. Personality: Heike can be a very difficult person to talk to. Unless you are an Aishan, she has no trust or time of day for you. She doesn't want to trade, doesn't want to talk to you, certainly doesn't want to help you. She just wants you out of her way and she'll spare no attempts to make sure you do just that. Even if it means threatening to hurt you. Though that is an extreme she tries hard to avoid, remembering well what happened to her mother when things got bad. More likely than not, she'll take to the trees or a rooftop, using her well-trained agility to get as far away from someone as she can.
Even if she does like you, Heike is very blunt, having no problems speaking about things she feels strongly for or against or telling someone how it is. Dishonesty in someone is something she really dislikes. If you lose that trust, it's most likely gone forever. There are unfortunately far too few good experiences she's had with people for her to forgive easily. Or at all. But she is still very young, still in that moment of life where she believes how she feels is the right way and no one else quite gets her.
Facts - Has a string of beads in her hair she took off her mother's body before she fled. - Uses, and is good at, a bow for hunting, but prefers the reach of the spear for combat.

✾History✾ ~~~~~
Up To Prentice Heike was raised not to trust anyone else but her own kind. Her Elaria mother, Kioko, had traveled with the group carrying the precious seed to its new destination, hoping to be one of the lucky ones to raise one of the new tribe in her image of what her people should be. She was not one of progress. She never trusted the other races. Had never had many good experiences with them, all spurred on by her equally distrustful mothers. And now she wished to carry on that legacy with a child of her own.
Growing up, Heike never had many friends. How could she, when Kioko was so distrustful of anyone else and there weren't many Elidae yet for her to play with. She did, however, learn how to entertain herself and keep herself occupied. This was often spent out in the wilderness, exploring her, later on, helping with the food supply by hunting and fishing. She found she enjoyed her time outside much more than around others, even if they were also Aishans. Still, her mother's prejudice against anyone else remained with her, turning her more and more out into the wilderness where everything was as it seemed and nothing was hiding their true intentions behind a mask.
Eventually things came to a head when Kioko got on the wrong side of the wrong people and there was a scuffle. Heike was out in the wilds, as per usual, and only heard about it when she returned. Kioko had gotten into an argument with some visiting Earthlings and it had turned into a phsyical fight. Heike never heard over what. The only thing that registered in her brain was that her mother had been killed during it, when she decided to turn it into a physical confrontation. But it wasn't her fault. Obviously the foreigners had done something to threaten her. Heike would not listen to anything that tarnished her mother's good name and decided to hop the first ship leaving Kahikina, to escape everything everyone was saying and also to escape all the memories there of Kioko. Now she is somewhere in the wilderness in Jauhar and Oba, living off the land as she wanders around without a purpose in the world.
Prentice Years in the rainforest of Jauhar seemed to have a somewhat calming affect on Heike. Her mind was clearing of the fog it had been when she left Kiros and she was coming to understand that her mother hadn't been a model citizen. She had selfishly kept her daughter apart from most of the others around her, to the point that Heike felt like a sham of an Elidae. She hadn't been protecting her Mother Tree, instead she had been exploring the world around her, hunting and foraging as a way of entertainment as she grew up. She was now coming to realize that was wrong, and wanted to train herself up in body and mind before returning to Kiros one day.
But soon after this decision, Heike met an Elaria who claimed to be her cousin, that their mothers had been sisters. Heike had never once thought about the possibility of having real family somewhere. No one had ever tried to get in contact with her. She was the first, and only, Elidae generation of her direct family, her mother being all she had. Now she had a cousin, an aunt, and a grandmother all wanting to meet her and know she was safe. This put her emotions back into turmoil. Why had they waited this long, now that she was all alone in the world?
For the time being, she is keeping Doesina around and is debating paying a visit to Yael to see these other family members.
Doesina :: Cousin, Elaria, 2nd Stage The day Heike learned about the rest of her blood relatives was an emotional one. She'd lashed out. She'd felt cheated out of a better life. She'd felt abandoned by everyone. When none of these things had been true. Her mother had been the one who had abandoned her family for less than honorable reasons. Still, she wasn't all that grateful to her cousin for looking for her and for helping steer her towards the rest of her family. Even if she had been left completely unfound and alone, she knew she would have eventually come to her senses on her own and gone back to Kiros one day, to take up her place with her Elidae Sisters. She didn't need some chattering, energetic Elaria following her around to do it. Whereas Doesina loves Heike unconditionally and always will, Heike is indifferent and wouldn't care if they never saw each other ever again.

Lae :: NPC, Alkidike, 30-40 Twin of Sae. Lae is the friendlier of the two, often giving newcomers to the town a warm welcome, be they Alkidike, Elaria, or any of the others from the newer, more distant Trees. Heike stayed with them while she was in Emeka. Lae had a fondness for doing pottery, making pots and bowls that she would share with the rest of her Sisters.
Sae :: NPC, Alkidike, 30-40 Twin of Lae. The more abrasive of the two. Sae is very protective over her Sisters, often positioning herself along the edge of the town near the road to watch for potential troublemakers or odd strangers.
Lali :: NPC, Elaria, 35-45 A Sacred Heart living in Emeka, Lali traveled from her home in Zinris to help with the efforts of bridging good relations between the Alkidike and Elaria. Of the women Heike met here, Lali was the one she connected with the most and who helped her the most. Along with training her in the spear, the Elaria tried to offer tips on remaining calm in situations since the Elidae was constantly tense and on edge. She also unintentionally provided therapeutic council with merely her presence, allowing Heike to slowly deal with the trauma that had been sitting inside her head for the past few years.

They were different. They were bold with her. Being around them helped center the swirl of insecurities inside her head. Maybe she wasn't a disgrace of an Elidae. Maybe she could take up her place with the other Elidae one day and not feel like such an outcast. With her newfound, albeit small, confidence in herself, Heike returned to Doesina and is now planning the next step of her recovery: Following her cousin to Yael to meet with the other members of her close family.
