Greetings.
I have created this document string to share my thoughts with fellow Vanguardians, in the hopes we can have a continued conversation about our situation.
It has changed, quite unexpectedly. There is much to grieve.
But more importantly, there is much to learn.
A political division has taken place among us. It is painful to witness. I was raised to believe establishing context is more important than placing blame. I want to forgive and listen instead of argue. There are many reasons this happened, and I think it's important to examine those reasons compassionately.
This all happened on Earth. I wonder if learning from this will help us learn something about Earth.

ED 2021-11-09 Subject: "Home"
We have all been working very hard to set up and adjust to our temporary Earth home. I am grateful to Commodore Lyndin for arranging the resources we need for this to work.
There has been much to learn about human life from this experience. The home is quite primitive. To review: the only automated cleaning implements available are the "dish washer," the "washing machine" and the "dryer."
The latter two are deceptively named. They are ONLY for clothes. Please do not put anything else in them!
All other cleaning involves manual labor. Humans use a variety of interesting, specialized tools. I will take over some manual cleaning duties for common spaces in the home. It is an opportunity to better understand human creativity.

ED 2021-12-01 Subject: Sailor Cosmos
My thanks to those of you who came to my room after I reported the security breach recently.
It was indeed Sailor Cosmos. She meant no harm. She had come to retrieve Gavaen's star seed.
Her appearance resembled a human. She had white hair and purple eyes. She was very kind.
The other details of this encounter, I will keep confidential. I do, however, want to share my thoughts. I know some people on Velencya believe Cosmos abandoned us. I submit this event as evidence this isn't the case. She sensed that one of our people had become lost, and came to help. And even before that, she has always been accepting star seeds from Velencya, and sending them back to us when they are ready to be born again.
We call Velencya a synthetic world. A fake world. A planet that isn't truly alive. But Sailor Cosmos treats it the same as any other world. She recognizes it as a place where people can be born and grow.
While this provides no scientific justification for it, it still gives me reason to believe Velencya is alive.

ED 2021-12-26 Subject: Environmental Hazard
Please be careful when there is snow on the ground. Naeria, Fangnyl and I have encountered a hazard we haven't been able to explain scientifically, in which the ice crystals spontaneously transform into a sticky gelatinous substance. It can cause physical injury, and ingesting it can increase your blood sugar sharply.
If you witness this phenomenon, and are able to find out anything about it, please let one of us know!
