Olivia hummed to herself as she sat on a bench in one of the local parks, close enough to one of the street lights she could read by it, but not so close that her eyes hurt from the strain of the shoddy lighting, eating her dinner and reading a book. She had wanted to spend some time outside today despite the whacky five PM sunset making everything dark already, but riding wasn't really appealing to her today, so outside reading it was. It was a bit chilly—she pulled her jacket a little more around herself—but it was still a pretty nice day out. Cloudless, not too cold, and she was enjoying the chance to just be outdoors instead of trapped inside like the upcoming winter months would do to her. She liked sitting in with hot cocoa and reading, of course, but the season took so long to slog through! She got up to throw away her dinner trash and returned to the bench to continue reading, laying across it on her back and holding the book in the air. Honestly, nothing could be more comfortable or happy-inducing than this, right now. She loved it.

Soyala liked patrolling with the Dark Mirror. Corrupt Senshi were, of course, her first and most important responsibility, but the Dark Mirrors she worked with always seemed to know that she wasn't entirely theirs, and were ever willing to perform extra services and affection to ensure that she continued to work with them.
Besides, she could work with a Dakr Mirror Eternal to fully Awaken a Senshi, without having to bother any of the ever-busy General-Sovereigns! That was a nice bonus, in her opinion. She could work with Elsa, get a lovely lavishing of attention and treats, and maybe find a Senshi to bring into Chaos.
Every Senshi in black was a win for all of them, in Soyala's opinion.
And as they wandered the paths of the park, her bundled in Elsa's arms like a very comfortable baby, she felt it. The song of an unawakened starseed.
Her whole body perked up, and she leapt out of his arms and to the ground.
"Senshi this way, darling," she said, and she trotted off immediately, weaving between bushes and trees as she crossed the space between paths until she could see the girl on the bench. Yes, that was her.
With little preamble, Soyala bounded over, hauled her magnificent self onto the bench, and swished her tail.
"Hello there.""Soya--" Elsa sighed. She was already off, and he trailed after her, but it was a little harder for him, since he wasn't a cat--still, he managed to eave his way through without too much trouble and without damaging the translucent trails of his uniform. Much. Or too noticeably, at least.
He hung back, a little ways, to let Soyala start the introductions. Better to put himself forward second, when she was done winning the future Senshi over by being a very adorable, very fluffy cat who happened to be able to talk. Then, it was his turn to close the deal and bring this girl home.

Olivia giggled at a line in her book and turned the page, only to be distracted by a cat leaping up to the bench. She dog-eared the page and sat up, cooing over the cute kitty and reaching out her hand, before the audio centers of her brain caught up. "I—Hello?" she said, bewildered, looking over the cat for some kind of speaker. She supposed the necklace thing it had could've been one. "Alright, what dumb prank show am I about to be on?" she asked, rolling her eyes, "Not that it matters since I got to see the most pretty kitty I ever saw!" Her voice devolved into baby-kitty-talk tons as she ignored the speech again in favor of reaching out to see if the cat would accept pets.

Soyala inhaled, unhappily. Of course. Sometimes the reaction was shock, sometimes it was awe....right now, it was condescension, and it was with a very put-upon expression that she extended her paw, plonking it directly against the unawakened Senshi's face.
"Stop that." Her tone was firm and uncompromising, and notably, her voice lacked any of the tinniness or distortion that might come from a wireless speaker setup. Her mouth moved with the words, and her very long-suffering expression matched with the timbre of her voice. "I am a very lovely Mauvian, yes, but this is not a prank, and I do not need to be spoken to as if I were a simple cat with no higher faculties."
Honestly.Elsa couldn't help but snort. He wasn't going to wait any longer, and so he wiggled himself through the branches, and the trails of his skirts caught a few times--but frankly, the light fabric tore easily, and with the damaged look his fuku had anyway, it wasn't as if it did anything to detract.
"I'd apologize for Soyala, but she is a sapient being and can be repentant for herself or not if she wants." He shrugged his shoulders, and, totally uninvited, dropped himself down at the other end of the bench. As soon as he did, Soyala moved into his lap. "Hi. I'm Eternal Sailor Elsa, and this is Soyala, and we're here to offer you the chance to be the star of your very own magical girl anime."

Olivia blinked. Oh, God. The cat was actually talking. Okay. Deep breaths. "I'm sorry," she said sincerely, "You might be used to real magic, but sadly, I'm not." She startled a bit at the appearance of the pretty boy. "Uh." Very intelligent, Olivia. Very intelligent. She sighed at herself internally and shifted a bit, pulling her legs up to sit criss-cross and facing the other two on the bench. "Well... Can you show me what you can do?" she asked, head tilted a bit, "Before I agree. Also, like, am I gonna get some kind of Ursula the Sea Witch contract here? These things usually wind up with some s**t like that, don't they?"

"I suppose that's forgivable," Soyala said, in the imperious tone of a cat who was quite certain she had all the right in the world to decide what was or wasn't. When Olivia crossed her legs, though, Soyala bounded over, settling comfortably in her lap and looking up at her with thoughtful interest.
"No contracts. No promises. You won't have to give anything up, darling--just come with us, and become who you were meant to be." The pitch seemed solid and obvious to Soya, and she hoped it was equally as obvious to their new friend that she ought to take it. "Elsa will walk you through a mirror--there's plenty around here, your future Court is quite good at ensuring it has transportation options everywhere--and bring you to a magical realm known as Mirrorspace. Once you're there, you'll walk through the Black Mirror at its heart and come out a new Senshi. Quite fantastic all around, I think."Elsa inhaled, tensely. The request to see what he could do was not...one he was eager to fulfill, but there were other things he could demonstrate.
"I can't show you my magic. It's fear-based. Monstery. Not exactly the best impression. But let me show you what I can do."
He moved quickly--the speed and grace of an Eternal Senshi letting him dart back towards the tree line he'd walked out of in mere moments. Then, he flung himself upward, and equally quickly, caught the lowes tbranch and hung from it for a moment before dropping back down.
"Easy preview. You'll be stronger, faster. Plus, the whole magic thing."

Olivia really, really wanted to pet Soyala when she jumped into her lap, but restrained herself. Soyala clearly didn't want to be treated in any way like a normal Earth cat, and Olivia didn't want to offend her again. She watched Elsa with great interest, eyes widening as he made an impossible leap. Well, impossible for someone who wasn't magical. "Monster magic sounds cool," she said, glancing down at Soyala. "...Alright. Yeah. I will. Show me." A small pause. "We're not going to run into some Goosebumps versions of ourselves by walking through these mirrors, are we?" she asked thoughtfully, "The last thing I need is to accidentally replace a right-handed version of me from opposite world. Or get replaced by one."

Soyala purred proudly, watching Elsa show off his Eternal's physical skill. She'd done that, and she thought that she had every reason to be proud--after all, she'd guided him since the beginning of his time as a Senshi. And now here he was, beautiful and Eternal and bringing more people into the Court.
All a cat could ask for, really.
Olivia's acquiescence made her happy-chirp, and she shifted to press her head against the girl's cheek before leaping out of her lap.
"Come with us, then."Elsa himself waited a moment, with bated breath, before relaxing when she agreed, and laughing a little at her slightly outlandish concern.
"I promise, no weird mirror versions of ourselves. Nothing like that at all. Mirrorspace is pretty safe," most of the time, but she didn't need to know that, "and if something like that is happening, it's a uh, bad sign, and we'll phone Prince Remarque and get him on the problem." Elsa paused, briefly.
"...Prince Remarque being one of the leaders of the Court," he explained as he beckoned for her to follow him to the nearest mirror. When they got there, he took her hand, and guided her through the glass and into Mirrorspace.
It always sort of felt like Mirrorspace knew exactly what you were there for, and this was no exception. They landed right in front of the doors tot he Throne Room, and he brought her through them, to stand in front of the great Black Mirror that would make her into one of them.
"Okay," he said, pushing gently on the backs of her shoulders, "go."

As they came up to the first mirror, there was a strange little sparkly thing that got her attention. As she was guided into it, she reached out and touched it, probably against all reason, but it turned out to just be some very, very pretty rock. Well. Cool. She pocketed it and let herself be led through massive doors, feeling a sense of awe. She'd just walked through a mirror! Humming a bit, she nearly twisted her neck off her head from how much she was looking around at everything, until Elsa stopped her at a black mirror. "Just... walk right in, huh?" she asked, suddenly apprehensive. "Okay..." Taking a deep breath, she walked in and immediately shivered. That felt like... what she imagined walking through a small waterfall would feel like. She kept going until she was free of the cold and.... on the other side of the mirror. Whoa. She looked down and gave a startled gasp, running back around to see Elsa and Soyala and show off her outfit. "I'm!" She paused for a moment. "Wow! I look hot!" She swished her skirt with a happy squeal, dancing in place. "I love this! Thank you!"

Soyala purred. She moved to wind between the new Senshi's legs, and then gave a little flip, producing a henshin pen that she nudged at her new charge's feet.
"Welcome to the mirror, Sailor Bélénos of Pears. We're thrilled to have you."Elsa nodded, grinning like a pleased big brother.
"Alright, let's head back to Destiny City. We can run you through some paces, figure out what you can do."
It was always good to have someone new in the Court.
