Now, suddenly she was thrust in the middle of this gigantic battle where loyalties shifted in the blink of an eye. She'd been to the moon. She'd seen aliens, talking cats, sassy technology. She'd seen elder senshi, elder agents, a General Queen, and ...
She was shaken about everything. Her life hadn't gone back to normal. All Eivissa could think about was that night, was the wounded, the explosions. It was one huge swirling cloud that left her feeling depressed. Depressed, numb, overwhelmed, uneasy, queasy. All this and so much more. Powering up now had a weight to it. It was made clear that this was a real war. Lives were at a steak. Not just hers, but innocent lives.
She'd gone back to those hills, to try to find the location of the battle zone. Was it really right here? It felt like it shouldn't be. It should have been a movie set.
Yet as she crested one hill, the start of the scarring happened. Her light blue shoes already dusted with blackened earth.
Somewhere here, there was another signature. It didn't feel unfriendly, so she didn't get scared. Instead, she scanned the area. Her feet kept moving, stepping around holes, occasionally tripping on those she couldn't quite see. Her Cosmic Brooch was on her hip, in the center of the bow at her side. It glittered in the moonlight, a comforting weight honestly.
"Damn," she spoke out loud, stopping a good ways into the field. This really was it, wasn't it?
