Albireo was so ready to get away. It would be the first vacation that she could remember having, though she was sure there had been ones before but this one...well. Her and Tavi were going to be spending a whole week just the two of them. No war, no aliens...no worries about Chaos or corruption.
It was bliss.
Though she really did enjoy her interactions with the visitors, she was really going to enjoy her interactions with the beaches.
There was one thing more she wanted to do before she left for a week...and honestly, the thought was still vaguely repellent to her but…
At the same time, she wanted to spend a little more time on her homeworld.
Perhaps if she took an hour or two, she could talk about it some with Tavi, and they could come up with a plan on how to make it less...well. Less of a nightmare for her.
Though, Albireo had to smile a little, since nothing that involved Tavi could ever be a nightmare...and she would bring him up to Albireo when they got home. It was a promise she made to herself as she pressed down on the ‘Home’ button on her phone.
Of course, she hadn’t counted on the sudden flare of chaotic energy and the feeling of someone grabbing onto her shoulder, and when she spun around when the two of them had been brought up to Albireo, she gaped at the green and black clad corrupt. “...Excuse me?”

Mirzam wasn't sure what she had intended, entirely, when she reached out to grab the strange Senshi's shoulder. Ask her some questions, perhaps, or challenge her, or--Mirzam didn't know, because she found herself whisked away, and suddenly,t hey were absolutely not in Destiny City anymore.
Her jaw dropped, and she started around herself, amazed.
"Where are we?" Mirzam asked. She was too busy being amazed to be playful--she turned, slowly, taking in the scenery around her. Wherever this was, it was somewhere far beyond her experience. "What sort of magic is this? Because if all of this is some illusion, I'm going to be very, very disappointed."

Albireo huffed and shook her head after a moment. “I hope that teaches you not to just grab on to people.” There was an annoyed snap in her voice and the senshi crossed her arms over her chest. “For your information, we’re up in space, on Albireo. This is my homeworld. What do you think you’re playing at? I should go back to the city right now and just leave you alone up here, though I guess then I’d just come back to more bones…”
And a rotting corpse wasn’t…
Ew. There wouldn’t be anything to eat her since nothing was alive here...god. That was a morbid thought.
It would make sure she never came back up to this place, that was for damn sure.
“Seriously though...what gives? This is my place. Don’t touch people without permission.”

"I'm so very sorry for my rudeness," Mirzam said, dryly, but she only seemed half-focused on the threats. She turned around, instead, taking in the planet.
"So this is...space?" Her voice was full of a wonder that hadn't entered it since she was a child. The landscape was beautiful--a lake, a crumbling castle, a forest stretching beyond--and it made her heart flutter with excitement and joy. This was...this was something she had never even begun to experience.
"I just wanted to talk to you," Mirzam huffed, "I had no idea you were going to drag us somewhere. Can all Senshi do this, by the way?"
She thought of Helena. Wondered what her world was like.
....Wondered, briefly, what Mirzam was like. If she could ever find her way there.
"And can anyone else get here, without an invitation? How do you make this happen?"

“It’s space, yeah. And, yeah all Senshi can do this as far as I know. All of us who aren’t corrupted like you are.” Albireo hesitated, her frosty mood dissipating just slightly. “It’s pretty neat, isn’t it? No, only I can get here, and those I bring with me. It’s private and...safe.”
She bit back on her comment that they were the only two things that were alive up here. That wasn’t...something she should just tell people.
“Are you curious about your own celestial home? You know that you’ll never get there while you wear black, just saying.”
Albireo tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and shrugged. “It just comes with the job. We are given the ability to come up to our homeworlds...like you all can teleport to Negaspace and whatever...it’s just…”
She shrugged again. “Our perk.”

Mirzam was thoughtful. So, she would never see her own star as long as she was corrupted. She had to admit, she was alright with that--it was difficult to imagine shedding the power the Negaverse gave her just for some far-off place. But the interesting thing was, if Albireio was telling the truth--and Mirzam supposed she had no reaosn to lie--then yes, any Senshi could do this.
And no one else could get there.
Which meant...Helena could, too, and Mirzam could have her. Privately.
That sounded absolutely wonderful, and would make a perfectly fine substitute for never being able to go to her own world.
"This is....truly amazing," Mirzam said, finally, and she gave Albireio her best and most charming smile. "I'm Mirzam. And I really am sorry for interrupting; it was an accident. I wanted to get your attention, just to talk--but, well. Here we are." Not that her motives had genuinely been that simple, but Albireio didn't need to know that.
"So these planets...they're just waiting for their Senshi to come and visit them? How wonderful. I suppose that is much better than a castle. And certainly better than the Rift." She wrinkled her nos,e unhappily. If she never had to go to that place ever again, it would be too soon. But it was no one's fault that things had gone so badly down there, except perhaps the idiots that had ignored the basic instruction not to bring starseeds.
"How do you get back to Earth? I assume you must be able to."

So much for spending a little time up here. So much for overcoming her fear of the place. Albireo sighed and held out her head. “Yeah. I can get us back. And yeah...as I understand it they’re our worlds of the past. Where our power comes from. But they were destroyed by Chaos a thousand years ago...but. From what I’ve heard...if you keep visiting, you can bring it back to something. You can make it your own again...one day. I guess I’ll get there. But.”
Albireo threw Mirzam a look that was both exasperated and a little sad. “Knights have Wonders like we have homeworlds so. There’s more than one way to get up to space if you’re ever interested.”
Holding out a lace glove covered hand, Albireo raised her eyebrows. “Come on, Mirzam. I’ll take you back.”

Mirzam nodded. All of Albireio’s information was incredibly interesting—how lucky she had been, to stumble upon a Senshi who could introduce her both to a literal new planet and to the metaphorical new worlds opened up by this information. Order Senshi and Knights had homeworld and Wonders, and could visit them, and they were private, secluded, and sage.
Incredible. The world of Senshi and magic clearly held more than she had even begun to understand.
“Thank you,” she said, genuinely. “For answering my questions. I wish you luck restoring this place—I hope it recognizes your hard work.”
It would be incredible, to see a truly restored planet someday. Mirzam would have loved the chance. But that wasn’t today, and her trip with Helena wouldn’t be it, either.
She took Albireio’s hand, black silk on white lace.
“Take us home.”
