Tomin was the calm one of the family, the free spirited and easy going one. In a military and business family, it was hard to find someone who would just wander and appreciate nature. Omria learned a bit from him, but sometimes it was hard to keep up. She loved Tomin, the closest one, and wanted to join in on his mindset...especially when she fought with her mother.
So, as she wandered the streets of the small settlement she was visiting with her family, she was surprised to see so much...peace. Her brother was here for the books, and Tomin was off somewhere else, but Omria was excited to understand more about the people of this settlement. As someone who was quite defensive of the Oban ways, she probably needed to understand why some of her fellow countrymen didn't support the war-focused majority.
