Was it safe to call all types of deep cleaning "spring cleaning"? Isha didn't really know when that term needed to not be used, outside of literally any season outside of spring, and yet here he was using it (mentally) as he opened yet another window in his stuffy apartment. Apparently the last video call he'd done with his mother had shown a bit too much of his apartment for either of their tastes; Isha's chagrin was that any of his apartment was shown, his mother's chagrin was that how do you live like this I am calling your akka.

Naturally that meant Isha needed to pretend to clean, even just a little, before his cousin arrived. Meru was absolutely the type to come in like a whirlwind and scatter the dust bunnies even further, not to mention she'd probably want the piglets out and physically about during her visit. The latter of those reasons was why the teen had opened a window to air the place out, allowing a cloud of dust to whirl outside into the autumn air as he shook out a rug or two onto unsuspecting and unlucky passersby who happened to be below.

Actually letting Pui and Mol run around outside of their balls was never a problem, but if he didn't want to hear about it from Meru over letting them crawl among dust and grime he'd need to get something of a base level clean going. There was no doubt in his mind that his mother had called and warned her of the squalor he supposedly was living in, so maybe there was a tiny bit of him that wanted to make Meru think his mother a liar. No...not a huge part of course because all above knows his mother would flay him for such thoughts, but at least a tiny part. Plus it wasn't really like him to be this cluttered anyway, but with that new job....

Anyway, enough thoughts and more action was required, leaving the teen to sweep away some of the gathered balls of dust and hair towards the dustpan. Meru would be arriving any minute and he needed to be emotionally prepared. From their cage near the door, the piglets chirped in anticipation of the snacks to come.
