Quote: Art Alive (1): Destiny City tries to keep a clean, upstanding city, but sometimes you just can’t beat the taggers. Graffiti art has been popping up around the city but it seems like it’s always moving from place to the next. Literally. The art is up one day and gone the next--on a completely different wall. Some people think it’s an elaborate prank--except, sometimes, in the dark of the night, you can see the art stretching from one wall to the next. Or, maybe it’s just your eyes playing tricks on you. No one would believe you if you said you saw artwork moving, anyway.
Sparta had noticed it some days prior, the graffiti on the walls. Neat tags, and inspired artwork, but it seemed to... shift? Was that the word? He'd seen it pop up on one corner on Saturday, on Tuesday it was on the overpass and by Friday it had found its way onto the side of an office building. With all the aliens walking about and things going on, he was keeping a tighter patrol route and had tracked the movement of the artwork into a warehouse finally.
He wasn't sure where it would move next, but he was determined to figure out what was going on. So, of course, he dragged his twink of a boyfriend Oceana with him. It was safer in pairs these days anyway, and a second set of eyes would do some good in trying to see how the artwork moved.
"So I tracked it here, to this warehouse. I think it'll move from here tonight, but I'm not sure where it'll go. We need to watch it and see how it works, yeh?" he said to the shorter man next to him, pushing the warehouse door open and leading him inside.

Oceana hummed softly, following after Sparta. At first glance, the graffiti didn't seem out of the ordinary, but then again, Destiny City was shaping up to be anything but an ordinary city.. "I mean... It looks nice?" He said, sighing again and waving a hand. The Senshi moved over towards the wall, boots clicking against the concreate. Tentatively, he brushed his finger tips against the paint. It didn't feel any different. "I don't... get it. It's just paint. How is it suppose to move?" He asked, turning to look at his boyfriend.

Sparta leveled his boyfriend with a "don't ruin my fun man" look and pet his hair gently. "Well Destiny City always gets weird around holidays, besides that's what we're here to figure out! How it moves, how it shifts! Is it teleporting, it is slinking? Is it like some weird Paper Mario thing where it can step off the wall and move? Like come on Oceana..." he said, crouching down a little to look at him eye level.
"If you just wanna head home, that's ok. I figured this could be a fun little powered date thing, but if you're not feeling it, no pressure, alright?" he said with a soft smile and a peck to Oceana's cheek. He seemed a little out of it, or just not into it (or just confused as to how paint could move) and Sparta wanted this to be fun and exciting and a good bonding time.
Okay that was more of the reason why he'd dragged him out here. Just to... spend time together, while powered up. So he was a little needy and wanted all of Oceana's time and just to always be around him, but he was fully aware Oceana didn't always seem to need that or want that so he was... trying to not being an overbearing golden retriever puppy.
Trying, being the key word.
But this was all mostly in Sparta's own head, because the large man, for all his optimism, really wasn't sure how he'd gotten lucky with this one and wasn't sure why Oceana had even wanted to be around him or date him and
He was getting ahead of himself. Probably by a lot. s**t.

Oceana shot a grin back at Sparta. "Love, Destiny City is always weird...." But the tall lug did have a point. The city was especially weird during the holidays. "...Do you think it's a light trick?" Was there a lighting system rigged up somewhere that they hadn't noticed? "...Was there anything on how much it moved?" Was it a subtle shift or was it hopping from place to place. The senshi gave a dramatic roll of his eyes, swatting his boyfriends face out of his. "No. I'll stay. It will be fun to watch you pick your brain on this." He teased. Oceana crossed an arm over his chest, propping his other arm on it before dropping his chin in that palm. "I'm not feeling a number of things I would rather be feeling." Oceana shot bat, a smirk on his face once again. "I just... don't know what to look for. It's like you said, DC is weird during the holidays..." So while the so called moving graffiti was unusual, it wasn't unexpected. "...I wonder who did it.."
