" Wow!!" Kurma's face was absolutely beaming with wonder and fascination. He'd run into the senshi completely by coincidence -- they both just so happened to arrive at the dome around the same time. The cosmic traveler had teleported in with neatly organized box full of items he had promised to Naeria. The senshi was just a couple meters away. And glowing. The symbol of his homeworld was clear and bright on his face. "You must be really in tune with your place, huh?" Kurma observed. "That's great."

This guy was fascinating. Encke could tell he was one of theirs, but only just; his energy signature was unfamiliar, and having been a senshi for upwards of ten years, he could tell one type of signature from another fairly easily at this point. He didn't feel like a senshi or a knight. He was also very interested in space so that, naturally, meant he was someone Encke was interested in. "Yes!" Encke's expression was as bright as the lightning that zapped across the spires of his homeworld. "I've been going to my homeworld for, ah, stars," he bounced on the tips of his feet as he attempted to remember just how long he had been going to Encke's Comet. It was something he had started doing the moment he noticed he was able to, and the otherworldly place of glowing plants and tall spire structures and abandoned roads kept him coming back time and time again. It was a place that was his. It was a place that should have been home to a people. It was a place he had wanted to thrive again. " Many years," seemed like the appropriate response. "This," he motioned to the glowing, "was the response of my world three years ago." Nearly four at this point... "Sailor Encke, of Plasma. Here to donate some of the excess energy this gives me. You?"

There were visitors. As one of the Commanders that Commodore Lyndin had trusted on the mission, Velyria knew that it was at least somewhat her duty to receive guests, particularly if Caedus and Lyndin were busy. So she moved through the barrier, and regarded both of the people standing in front of her with interest.
One was clearly a Senshi; the sort they called Transcendent, with his glowing markings and his feathery white buttwings. The other, though....the other was an anomaly. Velyria kept her expression even, however, refusing to show her confusion or curiosity; it would be rude to stare, or to make too much of a fuss, and to frown or look thoughtful might imply she wasn't happy to welcome them. She gave a nod of greeting to the two visitors, hands folded behind her back and shoulders squared.
"Greetings," she said. "I don't believe we've met. I am Commander Velyria. Is there anything I may assist you with?"

Velyria appeared right as Kurma was about to respond to Encke. Her introduction, however, gave him the convenient opportunity to answer both of them at once. "Most folks call me Kurma," he said. "Encke here was just telling me the best story." He said it like he very much meant it. The senshi's tale of the years he had spent bonding with his world was absolutely wonderful. Then, he patted the box on the ground next to him. "And I've got some Earth taxonomy data for Naeria here."

Kurma. Encke had been hoping that would come with some kind of explanation as to what he was if he didn't feel like any kind of senshi or knight he knew-- But he would definitely take the compliment that him even mentioning taking care of his homeworld for that long was a good story, and he found himself bouncing in his excitement with a, "Thank you!" before pulling it back in. Right. He knew Caedus. Caedus knew him. This Velyria clearly wasn't Caedus - he was presumably busy, which Encke was alright with, he understood - so he needed to make a decent impression. "Hello Commander Velyria," Encke did an excellent job of being more formal when he needed to be. "I'm here to donate a bit of energy if you needed some more? Being transcendent gives me a bit extra." He wiggled his arms and fingers to display this. He presumed Naeria must have been one of the other aliens; he should try to meet a few more of them beyond his friend--

Kurma, and Encke. Velyria committed the visitor's names to memory, giving both of them a polite, but subdued, smile. She seemed to prefer to stay distant; these were, after all, not her people. But they were necessary, for the moment, and the Cadets seemed to be doing plenty of work to get along with them.
"We will be glad to have both of these things," she said, and she extended her hands to take the box from Kurma. "I will ensure these samples get to Naeria, and if you have energy to donate, I can absolutely accept it." Good that so many were so willing. "The generosity is much appreciated, and so is the assistance in our Cadets pursuing their work and their interests here on Earth."

Kurma handed the box over eagerly. It was heavy with scientific journals, but also had a serviceable slide microscope with a box of teaching laboratory slides inside. Even if they had more advanced equipment to look at things with, he figured Naeria would enjoy the novelty of it. "Your turn, pal," he said to Encke, tossing his star buoy between his hands as he took his usual seat in the air. He was quite eager to see just how much energy this senshi's bond with his comet gave him to spare.

How practiced her smile seemed gave Encke a hint that perhaps he should maintain his formality, at least as well as he could. He felt himself focusing into a persona he might portray for the right role on the other side of a camera-- He did shoot Kurma a grin at calling him a pal, though. "We appreciate you coming here with a solution," offered Encke, unable to keep the excitement out of his voice entirely, there; the concept of not waking up in fear of what the Negaverse might do next was one that was almost too exciting to bear. He extended out his hand, in turn, expecting her to either hand him a stone or to drain some of the energy reserves as he stood there. "Ready when you are. Just don't put me to sleep," he snickered, "at least want to get home, eh?" Considering he was very much an energy-giving transcendent senshi and he had already helped Caedus in the past, he didn't necessarily foresee himself having too much of an issue of overdraining, but just in case her crystal hit much harder than Caedus'--

Velyria took the box with ease, making a small noise at its weight, and shifted it so she was holding ti with one arm and the majority of the weight rested against her hip, leaving her other hand free. That she worked to always be prepared for things going badly was obvious; one hand free meant she was not totally helpless. And anyway, she needed it--she held up her gloved free palm, revealing a Source Stone worked into the leatherlike material.
She took Encke's hand, and began to draw on his energy--and was surprised at how easily and abundantly it flowed.
"Please let me know if you start to feel tired--I know our people's limits, but I admit I'm still learning yours."
Still, her smile was kind, if not entirely warm. These weren't her cadets, but she could be decent. Especially since her sister was getting to be so fond of the Earthlings.
Her eyes, however, were drawn to the trinket Kurma was bouncing so carelessly between his hands.
And her attention to Encke stopped. Because if that ball was what she thought it was--if it was made of the material it seemed to be--then what Kurma was playing with so idly might be the most monetarily precious thing she had ever been in the presence of.
"....Kurma, you said your name was?" Her tone was wary, and considering. "What...exactly is that trinket of yours?"cibarium my apologies for dropping this particular ball! Seiana_ZI have some more velyria <3

The question made Kurma blink a little bit, but his grin didn't cease. "You mean this old ball and chain?" he asked, playfully twirling and balancing it on his fingers. "Just something I've always had around. Funny thing about it though..." His expression took on a mischievous sheen. As he continued tossing his so-called trinket about, he slowly started to turn in the air, as if the direction the ground was in had no meaning to him. "No matter what I put the old thing through, it never gets broken. Doesn't even crack. I swear, I'm sure I dropped it into a supernova one time and it still made its way back to me." He laughed sharply, and was now upside down, his eyes turned daringly and jovially at Velyria. "If you can solve that little conundrum, I might be willing to give you a piece."

Encke's energy flowed, and it flowed easily and abundantly. He was not a typical example of those on Earth, but Velyria would find that getting energy from Encke was perhaps easier than it should have been. He hummed his contentment even as he noted this seemed much faster than the way Caedus might have taken energy; Encke had started to adjust to that, but it hadn't been long enough for it to really hit him, yet. "Will do." He said, merrily, even as Velyria's attention seemed to be drawn elsewhere. Encke couldn't help it; prone to distraction himself, he let his eyes wander in the same direction as hers. What was so curious about what Kurma held? It seemed clear she recognized it, but Encke didn't. Might have assumed it was a knight weapon if Kurma was a knight, but he clearly didn't feel like one and also clearly wasn't -- Wait, did he just entirely detach himself from gravity? ,,, Where did he learn to do that because Encke would love to, actually... The wisp peeked out of Encke's collar for a moment, flipping itself over in a mimic of Kurma as he spoke. Encke was a bit too distracted to notice. "Dropped it into a supernova and it still made it back?" parroted Encke, unable to hide his surprise or the yawn that bubbled to the surface. "Is it like a knight weapon? Know you're not a knight, but." Could knight weapons break? Admittedly, he had never asked-- "Or a power source?" cibarium don't mind me just remembering to actually write my wisp into this

He knew. Velyria was absolutely certain that Kurma knew exactly what he had, and the way he was choosing to show off his unusual powers just made her more certain of that.
Still, she kept her expression polite, even as she withdrew her Source Stone from Encke--these Transcendent Senshi gave so freely and so easily, their energy seemed to want to seek somewhere else. It was an intriguing phenomenon, and one she hoped she had time to study.
"Thank you," she told Encke, politely, but it was clear her attention was fully on Kurma.
"I think it's quite interesting, Kurma," she said, and her tone was polite but tense, "that you happen to so idly be carrying the largest concentration of ambreon glass that I have seen in my entire life--and I am not young." A wry smile crossed her lips. Not young to say the least. "And I would be quite curious to know how that much of it made its way into anyone's hands; it's too bad you don't know more."

Kurma chuckled, wryly, dryly. "I'm just a fellow drifter through the cosmos, friend. Sorry I can't say more. Now, what's even more curious --" Then, his eyes sparked in the direction of the wisp in Encke's care. He whistled and waved at it, as if it were a friend he just noticed, and turned back to the senshi. "Did you get that little guy from Almadel?" he asked, a tinge of playful envy coloring his voice. "I didn't know he was giving them out... you think he would have set one aside for his old pal here." A frown briefly alighted his face, only half sincere -- he could never actually get mad at that merchant. And, with that, Velyria's line of inquiry had fallen from his awareness entirely.

Ambreon Glass... Encke yawned again as he nodded to Velyria, taking a moment to straighten himself out as he listened to her and Kurma's exchange. He had never heard of ambreon glass -- must have been another thing of space, perhaps Caedus would know something if he asked him, though it was clear Velyria knew what it was -- but Kurma's attention was taken by someone else before Encke had a chance to maybe formulate a question for Kurma instead of phoning a friend-- The wisp danced in response to Kurma's wave as if it was excited to see an old friend. Encke glanced at it and then to Kurma, curious. "Ah, no, don't think Almadel gave this to me intentionally." Thankfully, the merchant actually had given Encke his name while they had talked and exchanged information on starstones and space. "Think he gathered too many wisps. Or they got feisty. Turned into a big monster we had to break off. A few of them stayed, like this one. Chose to follow me around I suppose." The wisp danced around Encke's head, seeming quite happy with that concept. "Ambreon glass?" He paused, then asked, "Also, you know more about these?" ... Kurma was somehow becoming more fascinating by the second.

Velyria crossed her arms unhappily, regarding Kurma with wary interest. He seemed to be something of a wild card, and there were far too many of those in this mission. A small part of her regretted bringing Caelyna along--perhaps her sister would have been safer, left behind on Velencya. But at least this would be an experience that would result in much growth for her, or so Velyria hoped.
She let the two of them discuss the wisps, silently filing away the information for later. There was a merchant, Almadel. He was from beyond this planet. And he came bearing dubious gifts. Someone to watch out for. And to inform the Commodore about.
Ambreon, though, she could speak on.
"Ambreon is an extremely rare mineral, found scattered about the cosmos, usually in no more than fragments. It has unique properties regarding energy efficiency and transfer, and we've only ever found bits and pieces of it." She sighed,. "Ambreon glass is its refined form. Before this, I've only seen it once before, in a bead no larger than this--she gestured with her fingers, indicating something incredibly tiny--"and to see that much of it simply bandied about is, as you might imagine, somewhat shocking."
She eyed Kurma. She waited.
