Quote: One Foggy Night (5): As the seasons shift, the temperature changes too. It’s not uncommon for fog to roll in, sometimes from the mountains, sometimes out of nowhere. This fog is particularly thick and difficult to see through; Destiny City has issued several weather warnings and cautions being out or driving at night. It’s easy to get lost and difficult to see obstacles. Not to mention the strange, smothering sensation of dread and fear that rolls in with the fog. While there is sometimes the sensation of being watched, it worsens when the sun goes down. Some have even said they’ve caught glimpses of a tall, horned figure traveling with the fog. The news has reported that this is probably just a side effect of climate change and suspects that weather patterns should return to normal towards the end of the month. He wasn't sure why he had expected this month to be any better than last years. Well, it was better in that they hadn't been taken to another world/reality and in danger of some monster taking them away and imprisoning them. But he felt that New should have given him more of a warning that it was usually strange this time of year. Now when he had been out trying to gather energy, he had mistaken some objects as people and sent his wraith out to gather energy only for it to come back empty. And there was some sort of horned, shadowy figure that had been in the news reports as well. He hoped that he wouldn't run into them tonight. Tonight he just wanted to drain energy and go home. It wouldn't be that much either, just enough to fill his wraith. He didn't get the chance to drain that often and most times when he tried he was interrupted somehow. He just wanted one night where that wouldn't happen. It seemed his luck had run out, if it had ever been there to begin with, and he felt the aura of an Order. But with how heavy the fog was and the it playing tricks on his mind, they could be anywhere!

Meissa hadn't had much practice in being a senshi for a while. After that disastrous few days last summer in which she had been "missing" she'd been really careful about what she was doing. Eventually her parents stopped asking about what had transpired and Delaney was careful to keep the synopsis of what had truly happened to herself. There was nothing good in coming clean. All it would do was cause her parents to worry - and make them question their daughter's sanity. No, it was best to keep the details to herself.
She had been rescued that was enough.
Meissa now stood surrounded by fog and she shivered as the cool air kissed the bare skin of her arms. At least she was wise enough to have packed a coat, just in case. Her gaze darted around the fog-enclosed surrounding. Was there something out there? She swore that she could sense something watching her. It was enough to cause the hairs on the back of her neck to rise. She gave a small sounding nervous chuckle, "you are losing it girl. There can't be anything out there."
But what if she was wrong? Something plucked at the edge of her mind and she narrowed her gaze. Was there someone else nearby?

Definitely another Senshi here. But he had no idea where. Somehow the fog was messing with all of his senses. Smell, sight, etc. All of them made it impossible for him to figure out where, well, anything was around here. As he walked backwards, attempting to see if he could put his back to some tree or something, he tripped on a small rock and let out an uncharacteristically high-pitched yelp! Damn, he wished he had asked Itokawa to come out here and keep an eye on him. One of the few times he appreciated the other's over-protectiveness since he had become a Dark Mirror. "S***". He said to himself, trying to see literally anything. He picked up a rock he felt after he had fallen on the ground and tossed it out in front of him, hoping that it might be able to make it bounce off of something so he could see if he was even close to anything else out here.

There it was again. The sense that something was watching her. Meissa did not appreciate it at all and the growing sense of dread that washed over the bobcat senshi was finally enough to cause her to back up a few steps. Blue orbs tried to penetrate the natural phenomenon, straining to catch even a glimpse of what might be lurking in the cover that the density of the atmospheric conditions created. Still she could not make out any particular shapes.
One would have thought by now that a game of chicken with whatever could be using the fog bank as cover was not wise. Meissa knew that something was there, even if she couldn't see it. It was perhaps as she was spinning on her heel to get out of the fog that she heard the smallest of sounds. 'Fog distorts sound,' was the one thought in her mind and instead of rushing back from where she had come she realized that perhaps whatever was in the fog with her was closer than she had assumed. Was it the same thing that she felt watching her, or was it something else? Pausing for a moment Meissa calmed her breathing and reached out with her senses ... and suddenly something made a bit more sense. She had felt this feeling before - in that bottle environ. Locking onto that sense of "wrongness" Meissa pushed back into the fog and started reaching out with her hands in wide arcs in front of her. There was a hope that she would snag something to indicate that she wasn't going insane just yet.

Well, he supposed that he wouldn't get very far if he just sat there waiting for whatever possible thing was out there to either attack him... or attack him. He was starting to get flashbacks of the fog monster that he had encountered when he was still just a civilian last year. And before he realized it he yelled "Breathe of Fire!" Before releasing the flame out in front of him. He could only hope that it did... something. If nothing was revealed then he was going to send a message through his compact for help if he didn't get out of this fog! Quote: Breath of Fire! Bellerophon says the attack and as he does so he can feel his mouth getting hotter. The next time he opens it, he lets out a breath of flame! This can last up to 15 seconds (depending on if he wants it to) and reach about 3 feet. Can be used 3 times. Doesn’t hurt him but can make his enemies feel as though they are on fire (they may choose how they feel it, such as fully or just a part of them and they have to brush it off/roll to get it off but they can feel it). May still feel warm a few hours afterwards (up to the player)

It was only instinct that saved her from wandering into apparently the attack of another senshi that was just as encased in the fog as she was. There was a bright flash that illuminated the fog in front of her before a tongue of flame shot out towards her. The warmth from the flame would have been welcome in the clammy atmosphere but Meissa jumped back all the same. "Well that certainly answers the question of if there is someone else here," she muttered more to herself than anything. She had the inkling sensation that if she were to reach in with her hands that she could just grab whomever it was that had just loosed that attack.
It may not have been directed at her but Meissa took affront to it all the same. She narrowed her gaze and reached beyond into the billowing fog a little bit more guided now before feeling something catch between her fingers and then slip away. But it was enough to know that she wasn't alone.
Instead of blurting her own attack though just yet she wanted to see if she could reason with whomever she was trapped with. Pitching her voice to make it seem louder she spoke, "not sure who you are but I don't take too well with being attacked for no reason. It might be the wrong approach. Someone could take those actions the wrong way, don'tcha know."
SSBrosB figure if Bellerophon stays hidden or tries attacking again then Meissa will attack back.

Well, whoever was out there sounded human at least. And not too happy. It appeared that his attack had worked. He sighed. "It's not like I wanted to attack you, but I knew there was something out here and didn't want to be attacked first. You have heard of that horned figure right? You don't sound like a monster at least." Or he hoped they weren't one. Could Youma speak clearly? He hadn't encountered any so he hoped they didn't have the ability to do that. He decided not to move for now and wait for his heart rate to slow down a little. "If you saw that flame, I'm probably not too far from you." He wasn't afraid if they were Negaverse or Order. He would hope that the Negaverse wouldn't kill him. And Order while they might attack, didn't appear to be the killing type either. So he didn't mind if he met... whoever it was out there.

Now it seemed as if an impasse had been reached. Meissa had heard stories of a horned figure and she wasn't sure if she lent much credence to the rumors. It was all they were, right ... just rumors? Wringing her hands momentarily the bobcat senshi instead tried to determine just where the other senshi was trapped. It wasn't easy to move through the thick soup that was the fog barrier but eventually she closed in on the other's rough location.
Her eyes widened as she took in the other senshi. Horns. He had horns. Was he the horned figure that was attacking people? Was his statement all but a ruse? A way to lure victims to him? Meissa continued to stare before she took a step backwards. Was this some sort of trick?
Keeping eye contact with Bellerophon was key. Slowly her lips formed the words of her own attack, hoping that she'd be able to at least lose herself in the fog again after her illusion manifested. Her voice was quiet as she activated her own magic, "Meissa's Silent Stalker."
Even as her bobcat illusion manifested and started to prowl forward the bobcat senshi began to back away, almost as if she was afraid of what would happen if she stuck around.
SSBrosB it's his horns that triggered Meissa to attack ... no offense Quote: Meissa will create the illusion of a bobcat that circles her chosen target for twenty seconds. During the duration of the illusion the target of the attack will feel like cornered prey being stalked by a predator. They could experience fear, anxiety and maybe even the need to flee. It takes attention away from Meissa and could maybe leave the target open to being attacked. It's a distraction technique at the most. The enemy has to be inside a nine foot radius for the feeling of prey to be most effective. If Meissa is struck during the duration of the attack the illusion will end abruptly. Meissa can use this attack three times per battle.

For a moment Bell thought that he was in the clear, and then he suddenly realized what he had just implied. He had forgotten what his uniform looked like. His tiara had horns. "S***!" was the only thing he could get out before he saw another illusion. He wasn't sure what it was, but even if it was some animal, which could still kill him if they were strong enough, he didn't want to go and mess with it, especially considering what kind of magic could be behind it. A youma, another monster unrelated to Youma, something that would attack him if he attacked it, etc. He felt fear in him and started to back away himself, scrambling to his feet and slowly and carefully stepping backwards hoping he wouldn't trip on something again. "Time to get out of here." He muttered to himself hoping that getting out of this would be near. He decided to make a run for it in the opposite direction, hoping that he wouldn't be attacked once again. He had enough of fog monsters. If he had to go against another one he would probably be scarred for life! tefla we can end it here or continue it! But I think it should count as a battle!

Meissa panted softly and tried to calm her racing heart. She had heard what sounded like footsteps running away and so it was probably safe to infer that the illusion of the bobcat had done it's job once again. Her gaze took in the fog that still surrounded her and she gave a small annoyed sound that amplified very briefly in her own ears. Figuring a way out of here would have been nicer with some company but what was done was done.
Whatever she had experienced, human or otherworldly creature from the mists, was now apparently long gone - and she was still lost in an ever thickening bank of fog clouds. Moisture clung to her fuku as she reached out blindly for any potential landmark to ascertain her direction. The moisture beaded in her twin braids and even left little trails of water on her skin. Oh - it was inevitable that a way would be found out of this fog but for now it was still a very murky prospect of being "free" in a timely manner.
