It had been literal ages since Helena had been in Destiny City. Lynette had left after losing contact with Chocolate Giver, and had taken time to live in Oregon, exploring whatever she could find there...but with increasing news about...about things happening in Destiny City...well. She just had to go back, didn’t she?
Obviously she had returned, and obviously, the first chance she got, she powered up once again into the Senshi of Wit, determined to find whoever the lizard was on that viral video.
Clearly it was a true cryptid in the city, and she was back and determined to find him or her...and when she did.
Oh boy.
Well.
Something would happen, clearly.
God. She hadn’t powered up since she became a senshi, and everything felt so utterly foreign, but...it wasn’t…bad. Not really. A little awkward, a little uncomfortable but…
Helena’s head shot up and she stared into the shadowed alleyway.
Lizard man? There was something there. She could feel it. Oh. Right...she could...she could feel things. That was...hm. That was strange.
With a soft thump, the senshi jumped into the alleyway, right in front of the suspected lizard...person? Yes, lizard person, because those were boobs. “Oh! You’re a lizard girl! That’s fantastic!”

For all it was worth, Laven looked equal parts startled as she did bewildered and confused. "Excuse you?" A lizard? Well... she supposed that it was better to be accused of that than a fish. But still? Really?"I'm as much of a lizard as you are a Sanderson Sister wanna be." Ok, that might have been mean but who was she to start accusing her of being something she wasn't. Could have started the conversation out by not dropping in on her and making pointed accusations. "I'm a dragon... DRA-GON." She enunciated each syllable as if she'd completely had it with people not getting it right. "Technically I'm a half-youma but... semantics." she shrugged. Considered using the pendant to alter her form into a full youma but thought better of the idea. "you can sense aura's can't you?" Wasn't that like White Moon Senshi 101? Orangeish Sherbert Thank you for the Mushu moment. I needed that ;D

“A dragon is a lizard. With the scales and everything, I’m not sure why that is something insulting to you. And I’m a Ravenclaw, not a Sanderson Sister.” Helena slid her glasses up the bridge of her nose with a finger and scoffed. “It’s bold of you to assume I’ve been like this at all since I became a senshi…”
She fell quiet, trying to figure out when she had met that cat who had thought she was an idiot...well. It didn’t really matter.
“A while ago. And there is a video of a lizard…person trying to break into houses, and you have scales, horns and claws, and I assumed that it was you. You fit the bill, after all. Why wouldn’t I suspect?”
The senshi huffed and crossed her arms over her chest. “I don’t know what a half youma is, but you’re clearly a lizard woman, and you need to stop terrorizing houses. If you come quietly so I can dissect you, it’ll be easier on everyone.” Plus, if she turned her in after the dissection...perhaps she’d get a reward. Or a recurring article in the paper. All good things. All good things.

Laven grew dangerously quiet. Pupils pulled into paper-thin slits, upper lip curled into a snarl. “Like hell I’ll let you dissect me…” A low growl reverberated against her chest. "Whatever you think you saw, it wasn't me..." Not that the Senshi had any reason to believe her. Normally she would have shifted into her watery form. Overwhelmed the Senshi with her magic and increased speed. This, however, was more personal than simply having her quota interrupted. The Senshi’s thoughts and intention of dissection threatened not only herself, but any other half-youma like her. There was anger, then there was that calm dangerous focus and Laven knew this was her youma instincts taking over. Usually she would try to rein herself in but this time she found that she didn’t particularly care what happened so long as this presumptuous little witch bled. If she got a starseed out of it then that would be one definite threat against the Negaverse snuffed out. Laven abhorred the thought of killing someone in such a way but given the circumstances, she was willing to make an exception. A small micro-teleport used to quickly close the distance as she lashed out at the senshi’s throat with the intent of slamming her against a wall, the dumpster, or even the ground. Anything to keep the young woman from using magic against her.

Oh. Lizard people could...teleport? Move through space? Move quickly enough to not be seen? That was something worth writing down in her journal tonight. Maybe even put it in her blog.
The hand that clasped around her throat was strong, but the webbing between the fingers gave Helena pause and as she choked out a cough, she looked at it with a quizzical gaze. “...Not...a lizard woman...amphibian...woman?” It didn’t have the same ring to it, but...it was something. This was all something.
The more she could learn...no matter how small, was worth it.
“...Are…” She croaked out, blinking wide eyes at the half youma. “You...not the cryptid…?” Or was she just another one who hadn’t been documented…
Perhaps dissection could come later...
Obviously it would come later, when she could breathe...that would be the ideal time to do it...but...if it wasn’t after this meeting...well. Perhaps the next.

The damn senshi wasn’t listening, Lavendulan told her exactly what she was and the still annoying b***h was here trying to guess other things. Just trying to get under her scales and as much as she’d hate to admit it… it was working. A low growl rose from her throat, fingers curled so the tips of her claws pressed against the young woman's throat; an acute awareness of the precarious position she was currently in. “Keep talking and I’ll either rip out your throat or take from you your starseed. Your choice,” Lavendulan abhorred the idea of taking a starseed, once removed from its owner's chest it lost the ability to be a renewable source for energy because at that point the body would be dead. However, if she were to instead kidnap the damn Senshi and stow her away somewhere in the Dark Kingdom, maybe she could just siphon off energy to subdue her long enough to get a few quotas in. For science, of course… since she seemed to be intrigued by such things. If that failed, she could just teleport her to the bottom of the reservoir and see how long she could hold her breath.

Helena struggled in the creature’s grasp once again and tried to swallow, tried to keep calm to…
She had magic. Why wasn't she just using her head? Pressing her hand against the lizard woman, the next words that she uttered were the ones that would activate her magic…and hopefully allow her to get out of here. So maybe she wasn’t able to dissect this creature…there would be other creatures.
This was fine.
“W-wits End!”
Oh how she hoped that this would work. Shanyume Holding out a hand, Sailor Helena says her attack, and a beam of dark blue light shoots from her palm. The beam has a radius of five feet and a range of five feet, and all those who are touched by the light will feel confused, as though they are faced with a problem that they can't see any way to solve. The attack can effect up to five people, and the effects last thirty seconds. Can be used one time.

The light on its own was startling enough to cause Lavendulan to scowl and relinquish her hold on the other woman and stagger back several steps. Dazzled, she blinked several times to clear the spots from her eyes. Her upper lip curled in irritation but when her vision finally cleared she locked gazes with the little witchling dressed Senshi, Laven felt… confused. Not about anything in particular but more like she was confused as to why she was confused… Yes, the Senshi had offended her greatly, threatened her even. So what was there to be uncertain of? Laven glanced down at her hands and saw a gleam of red on a pointed claw, Did I… was I about to- she refused to finish that thought if only because she worried that it would prompt her to finish the action. No… that’s not me… I wouldn’t… I couldn’t… Could I? Could she actually kill someone? This wasn’t something she actually wanted to learn the answer to but her feelings right now suggested that… she very well might.

The moment that the grip on her neck was gone, Helena stumbled back, gasping for breath and stared at the lizard woman for a moment before turning tail and bolting. When she was just Lynette, she did come armed with things to make supernatural hunting easier, and it seemed that she might want to invest in some kind of a taser or a net if she were going to continue that activity while she was powered but…
But perhaps Lizard people weren’t the best things to investigate alone.
