Alien Abductions (2) : Destiny City’s had an overwhelming amount of reports of strange lights in the sky. No one can get anything verifiable on camera, and the few videos that have been circulating seem like they could have easily been doctored. There’s been a strange uptick in reports of alien abductions, but the City can’t seem to verify anything, and at this point in time it seems like it’s just people looking for attention. However, there’s a temporary ban on civilian-owned drones until this whole thing clears up.
To say Tobias was minding his own business was a bit of an understatement. He'd been minding nothing to put things into perspective, following the winding dark trail through the woods with his two lights attached to his backpack and the singular thought in his head of 'Next time I should probably hit the trail before 4 pm'.
Now, dusk had begun to settle in, and he still had roughly 3 miles of rugged trail to go. The only blessings was he wasn't fully in the 'wood woods' just the overly large wooded part that led out towards the semi-woods that were the Hills. Still, his phone was running off of a pre-programmed map and the GPS signal was touch and go. Overall, not the worse but also very much not the ideal.
Clicking his teeth he shuffled his pack and checked his phone again, figuring he'd be fine. So what if it was getting dark? So what if technically the park closed in.... 20 minutes. He was fine. It wouldn't be the first time he'd taken too long on a hike. Still, he was a bit sad because if he'd come sooner, the view was said to be great, and there were a ton of cool looking side trails to check out- but this late and with the dark of night approaching, it wasn't safe, even with his adventitious streak. Another click of his teeth he looked up, wondering if the light pollution might actually make things not so bad, even up there.
