Cooking -- Originally his carrier choice up until high school, Caleb enjoys cooking not only for its own sake, but as a way to pass the time and learn something new. He prefers baking to most other forms, much of which stems from the fact that he has a monstrous sweet tooth. Pastries and cakes are his absolute favorite. A few added bonuses are that he can share his cooking with others, have guests over for entertainment, save money and have a great excuse to wear cute aprons!
Nightlife -- Whether it's clubbing or simply slinking around downtown on a Friday night, Caleb thoroughly enjoys the dancing, the drinks, the wardrobe, meeting new people and seeing new places. He has a goal of visiting every club and upscale bar in the city before he turns 30. It would be like a badge of honor.
Shopping -- He enjoys nice things but his paycheck doesn't always allow for it. Still, window shopping is fun too! He has a few favorite men's stores, home décor shops and wine cellars he frequents that are within his budget. Standing outside a luxury leather shoe shop and drooling isn't unheard of, either.
Pros:
True to Himself - While he isn't very old in the grand scheme of things, much of Caleb's past was spent trying to figure out who he is and what he wants out of life, what he likes, dislikes, and how he might allow other people's perceptions and expectations influence him. At the beginning of freshman year in high school, he was certain he was gay. By the end of high school, he realized he was bisexual and enjoyed quite a few things that would normally be considered "feminine" (like shopping and cooking). Nowadays, Caleb is simply who he is, without worrying about what others may or may not think of him because of it. Life is much better that way.
Playful - He isn't above play-fighting with a dog or a child, laying on you to tickle you or even insisting on riding the carousel one more time. Caleb likes to enjoy life and laugh as often as he can, really. He'll stick his tongue out at you for a picture or photobomb his high-strung younger sibling. Life shouldn't be doom and gloom, at least not all the time.
Curious - You might want to put him on a leash if you're out and about because he'll probably want to stick his nose into every shop in the mall he hasn't seen before, or tug you along to see what's new in the farmer's market. Caleb is also curious about you and what you've been up to, but would be more than happy to respect privacy boundaries. He'll only wander as far as you allow him to. He likes to read, but not voraciously. It's usually about new haircare products, techniques and chemical treatments, or something having to do with sweets.
Cons:
Hedonistic -Indulgence is one of his favorite words. Caleb loves to give in to his many vices: luxury goods, physical pleasure, sweets and wine especially. He has a difficult time turning away from a vice as his life philosophy is the pursuit of pleasure. He wouldn't egregiously break the law (how would he even survive a jail cell??), but has stayed out too late and broken curfew more than a few times, indulges in wine despite being underage and has had a scare or two with STIs. He's also gorged on chocolate and gotten sick. Moderation isn't necessarily something in his vocabulary.
Petty - "Well, everybody knows Taylyn is a basic bi--" would be something he'd say in response to a sexist, snide or rude comment thrown his way. They called back 33 minutes later when they said they'd do it in 30? He'll respond in an hour, if he feels like it. Caleb might be twenty but dealing with hurt feelings and pain isn't something he's very good at dealing with in a healthy and mature manner. No, he won't go out of his way to physically harm you, but it's easy for him to stoop to high school levels of petty when he's rubbed the wrong way.
Lazy - Housework is boring, so wouldn't it be better to just... take a nap? Or just do it later. It's not like the dusting is going to go anywhere. There's no food in the house? But it's raining outside! Instacart is a service for a reason, you know. It helps stimulate the economy and provide jobs, after all. If it comes down to the choice between real work and laying around like a fat cat in a sunbeam, Caleb knows what choice he would make. Unless there's a boss or a bill involved, it could be done later, right?
General Appearance
Standing six feet even, Caleb has lightly tanned Caucasian skin, bright green eyes and long, straight, crimson-colored hair. It ends at the small of his back and he keeps it in a braid with short bangs in the front. He has broad shoulders and a playful, flirty smile. (He probably belongs in an otome game, let's be real.)
Caleb presents well, preferring well-kept button-up shirts and slacks most of the time. He'll delve into jeans when he's not working (or is feeling lazy). He likes to take care of himself and keeps his hair, skin and nails clean. Even his shoes are well cared for and he plucks his eyebrows!
