Name: Sing
Nicknames:’Madam’
Pronouns:She/Her
Style of Guardianship: Sing belongs to the ‘Crabby Grandmother’ school of guardianship. She’s defensive of those under her care but is only so patient with people who don’t listen.
Preferred Communication Style:She absolutely prefers ‘in person’ communication, gathering people to her, better if she enjoys the setting as well. But if she has to, she’ll work with a video call, though she refuses to admit to having trouble with the buttons.
Hobbies:
Pros:
- Stop and Eat the Flowers -- Sing takes her greens and green spaces very seriously, she does her best to take care of what green spaces she finds, in the most holistic way possible. Lush grass, vibrant leaves, colorful flowers. Among them, she likes to tend edible greens as well which makes her green spaces useful to both herself and others.
Pros:
- Stop Moving things!! Organized -- Sing very much likes knowing where things are, she wants very specifically to be able to reach out and find what she’s searching for without having to hunt around, so once things have a ‘home’ she’s determined that it should stay there. If things need to change, well… expect her to be ‘arguing’ with inanimate objects till she’s accustomed herself to the new layout.
Sometimes the magic happens Goal Oriented -- Sing doesn't like to let the little things slow her down. Yes, she might have to take her time to sort things out, but she’s not about to let things stop her. If she wants something done, she’ll make sure it happens. Even if things don’t go as smoothly as she might have hoped, it’s the end result that matters.
- Did you teleport!? Temper -- Observation isn’t really her strongest suit, no matter how hard she tries, something will escape her attention. Especially if she’s focused on something else. Engaging her while she’s otherwise focused or distracted means she’s going to jump out of her skin. It’s not a flaw she enjoys admitting to, so her reaction is -temper. A lecture, potentially a good swat or five, and absolutely a hiss. You’re unlikely to get fast forgiveness, or anything close to it unless there is something she needs to do.
I’m FINE Self-Neglectful-- Sing is so determined to be self-sufficient, that sometimes you don’t know she’s hurt or even sick. She’d rather pretend that everything is copacetic than admit that she’s having any sort of trouble, and trying to corner her into taking care of herself is just as likely to result in a snarl as it is any sort of acceptance. While she’ll ultimately take her medicine she doesn't have to -like- it.
