Voyager sat on one of the statues in the park near the museum. He had felt a presence of... something when he had been patrolling for a night, but had ignored it because he was going to be very busy the next day and if he had followed it who knows where it would have taken him and how long it would have been. So he had missed it but there did appear to be something different in the air. He hoped it wasn't pollution. And now he was pondering whether or not to take this newest job that would take him out of the country for a week to look at another piece. He didn't have to do it, but he wanted to take the chance to get out of here for a short while, though he dared not power up outside of the city or his Wonder. It was safe here, he knew that there were other Senshi and Knights. Elsewhere though was a different story. He had no idea what the Negaverse's influence was and he didn't want to find out by attempting to power up. But he also really wanted to go back to his Wonder and clean it a bit more. The whole place was quite dusty and he was sure that there were some artifacts that he could write information for or... something! He really wanted to make it look nice when he could finally take someone to it! What he hadn't noticed was a prescence approaching him until they were quite close and he suddenly realized that he wasn't alone. He looked around to see if he could see them. Perhaps he could meet another Senshi or Knight? Or find someone who could lead him to more powered artifacts?! Amasisx random start for you! It does not have to stay as a regular

Yddagen had taken his sibling's advice to get out and explore, to see more of the city. It might help his mood, they'd said. Make him stop skulking, they'd said. It was a cool night. Warm enough that Yddagen wasn't shivering, though he was not sure how that compared to normal human experiences of the current weather. He'd deliberately avoided humans so that he didn't have to wear his glamour. It didn't affect how he experienced the world, but he still didn't like using it if he didn't have to-- The movement caught his attention, and Yddagen's steps came to a stop. He watched them look around and realised that they were one of the knights born on the planet. Most of his posture relaxed, for a given definition of 'relaxed', and he continued the path he'd already been walking. Should he ignore the human? That would probably be rude. Yddagen was not much of a conversationalist, but he didn't want to be rude. Lysvi would never let him hear the end of it if it got back to them. "Hello." SSBrosB Yddagen has a -3 to all charisma rolls, I'm so sorry

He could finally make out what the other person was and considering how alien they looked they must be... one of those aliens that had come to Earth. Interesting! Voyager grinned and hopped down from the statue to greet the other. "Hello! Took me a bit to see you without it being so light!" They did look quite human. It was the ears and skin that made it a bit less obvious that they weren't from this planet. "I'm Voyager. Haven't been able to meet many of you fellows yet and I apologize. We should probably all be getting to know each other a bit more if we're working together!" He said, holding his hand out for a shake. Maybe they knew about that type of greeting. He talked to the other with no malice as he had no reason to believe that they were on opposite sides yet, even if the aliens did drain energy. So did the Dark Mirror but they didn't seem to be using it for evil either. "You enjoying your time here? I think it's a lovely place, but I would have loved to see where all of you live as well. I bet it's amazing." He said with genuine want. He wanted to SEE ALL THE THINGS! out there in the Universe, or at least as much as he could. If he could even get an artifact from one of these aliens, it would do just as well and he could store it safely on his Wonder.

'Voyager'. The human's name was Voyager. Yddagen filed that away. It was important that he remember it for later. Again, it would be rude not to. Aside from Lysvi never letting him hear the end of it, Yddagen also wanted to make sure that he was making a good impression for his own sake, and as a representative of their species. He looked down at Voyager's hand, reaching out tentatively toward it before realizing what it was Voyager was trying to do. He reached out more assuredly, more confidently. Just as confidently, he wrapped his hand around Voyager's forearm, grasping the forelimb with polite gentleness. "I am enjoying my time thus far. I have not experienced much, but I hope to change that. The planet is very large, with an excellent natural atmosphere." He tried to affect a jovial tone. Was that too much variation in his voice? What was the line in human body language between polite interest and sounding ill or childish?' Moving on. The human's name was Voyager. "I'm sure you would find our home to be lovely." Ydaggen tried to put an earnest tone in his voice. He hoped he succeeded. "I am very fond of it for obvious reasons." He looked around again. "Is there something of your home here that you're fond of?"

Voyager grinned widely at the other as he didn't quite get the shake, but Voyager was still accepted it. After all, it's not as though the hand shake was the common greeting of all people even on Earth! To learn about the customers of another species like that was certainly interesting! The "shake" was soon over and the alien asked him a question. Voyager didn't even have to think about it. "Being able to study what came before is, personally, something I'm very fond of. I may judge historical pieces for my job, but learning about ancient cultures and what came even before those is a requirement as well." He couldn't say that he was well versed in everything about them, but give him an artifact and he could judge it accurately. His smile dropped a little. "I heard that you aren't on your original planet anymore. What do you like to do where you are living now? I know I can get quite stuck on the past myself if you are researching that sort of thing."

Yddagen felt a surge of pride at understanding the right way to shake hands with the people of Earth. That knowledge from their research had held stable. He would have to note that for future interactions. The human's name was Voyager. "You study history?" That caught Yddagen's interest, and he rose his brows as he thought was appropriate for the interaction. That showed intrigue, right? "My sibling does similar. Lysvi's focus back on Velencya was the study of ancient languages and texts. It is a bit different than historical pieces, but it pleases me to hear you are also concerned with history." The mention of his planet drew a frown from his face. "We have not inhabited Velenia in many centuries." Indeed. "I enjoy watching the stars." His expression broke from something more practiced to something actually fond. "I like to connect them. I enjoy creating pictures in them and stories about them." He made constellations.

Voyager nodded with a smile. "Sounds like I should meet your sibling then! We can get together sometime. Not sure how I would communicate with you yet, do you have a phone or some sort of communication device that works with Earth ones? Or I have my Knight ring. Maybe that would work?" He didn't know how the Valencian tech worked with theirs or even with their magical ones. Were the rings technology or magic? Maybe he should have asked more questions. He felt sad for Yddagen's mention of his homeworld. "I'm sorry about that. I hope that you'll be able to go back to it someday. It's still alive if your people are as well." He said with a small smile, attempting to comfort the other. His brows rose as the other talked about constellations. "Ah, we've done that here too! I'm not much of an astronomer, but I do know a few of them through my work. I would love to compare stories! Though..." Voyager paused thinking about it. "You may not like the stories of a lot of them." Ancient Greek mythology was both weird and unnecessarily violent in his opinion, but that didn't keep him from studying their artifacts!

Yddagen pulled the phone out of his uniform pocket, turning it over and studying it. "I have this? Beyond that, I don't know exactly how we would interface." Their technology had, obviously, not developed alongside Earthan technology. It wasn't very compatible beyond a collection of cobbled-together meeting points. It was a miracle, in Yddagen's opinion, that they could even breathe the same concentration of nitrogen, oxygen, and other gasses that Earth's atmosphere contained. Too much one way or the other could have caused significant lung problems. Or even death. Anyway. "I have a wide breadth of tolerance for stories," replied he. It was meant to be reassuring, encouraging even. "I would like to collect more."

Voyager was very excited and made sure to transfer his number to the other's. "This is fine! It's one of the main modes of long distance communication for us. I just added my number and my name to it so you, hopefully, should know who's calling!" He hoped that the alien could read English at least. If not they may need to find some reading materials to help with that. Voyager nodded. "Great! I would love to show you around where I work too, and you can see how those long ago on our planet incorporated stories and other things into works of art!" The excitement had made it so that he had forgotten he should be at least a tiny bit wary of their new alien visitors. "And then I can show you my Wonder! I mean it's pretty dark on the outside, but I love having visitors there!" though somehow he hadn't brought anyone there yet. It was then he noticed what time it was when he saw one of the clocks on the building and realized that it had gotten late. He deflated a little. He wanted to talk more with his new alien friend! "I'm sorry to say, but it has gotten a bit late so our conversation will have to end soon."

Oh, good! It seemed the device would help him communicate with these people. He took the device back, scanning over the number and the name before slipping it back into his pocket. He understood English well enough, fortunately, and if something tripped him up he did have someone he could rely on who would try to figure it out for him-- "I would be quite interested in that," Yddagen's eyes brightened at the concept of learning about Earth stories and works of art. Perhaps their dedication to these artforms could tell him something of their people and why they still survived. The wonder, especially, caught his interest. "The wonders of knights are a fascination for us. I would like to learn more if you are willing." Yddagen understood the signal of it's gotten late, at least, so he made sure to add, "perhaps when we meet again?" He bowed his head in goodbye. "If you need to get back to your tasks, I will leave you be. You may reach me on this," he pulled the cell phone out again, looked at it, and tucked it back away. "Have a good evening, Voyager." SSBrosB We can end it here if you want!

Voyager grinned. He wasn't sure if the aliens were on their side or not, but he was pretty sure that they couldn't do much to their Wonders and Homeworlds at the moment. Well he was hoping at least. "I'll let you know when I have time then and we can figure out a time to meet! Both for regular Earth stuff and my Wonder! It was good to meet you once again Yddagen!" He said the latter part with a wave and he moved off in the direction of his home. He didn't believe the aliens to be that bad. And if there was a way to help them he wanted to help find it. Amasis fine with me! Thank you for the rp!
