It was... strange. Alphubel hadn't powered up in a while and when he did suddenly there were aliens. And some others knew about these aliens? It had... rattled him. He was always looking at his telescope, trying to see if there was other life out there, and then they came to Earth seemingly out of nowhere and Alphubel hadn't had any clue. It made him uneasy. He was sure that they wanted to destroy the Negaverse of course. And that was a good thing... right? It just seemed too good to be true. So he was out here again looking through his telescope in one of the more secluded areas of the park that he frequented, looking through it with a distracted mind. He had planted his weapon in the ground next to him. He liked to think of it as some sort of streetlamp from time to time. It made him wonder if he shouldn't try to do something near his Wonder. He had never gone to it in the dark. He wanted to see what it looked like sometime. He was distracted by his thoughts. Did he really want to meet the aliens? Was it just because they were something new that he was uneasy about them? What did they mean when they said that the entire Negaverse army would be destroyed? Did it just mean the power would be taken away or that the enemy truly would be destroyed? He couldn't imagine all of the Agents in there were willing to be. He rubbed his head, moving away from the telescope and laid on the grass, staring up at the surprisingly clear night sky. What was he supposed to do with this new information? There was someone nearby, but he was too distracted to notice. xShanyume random start for you! It does not have to stay as a regular!

Alcor had meant to go home. But after the constant bickering with her sister, the last thing she wanted to do was pick up where the pointed comments left off. So, after work, she powered up and went in the opposite direction. "Why couldn't Caedus just stay gone?" Raking her fingers through her long blue hair, Alcor let out an aggravated sigh. Wasn't it enough to hear about strange happenings at the reservoir or not-so-random disappearances? Apparently not... The whole lot of them already followed His Majesty's orders once and it nearly cost Alcor her life. While getting the piece of code from the Dark Kingdom had definitely been a win, when the floor started to crumble beneath their feet both she and Liryn nearly because casualties of this escapade. And now they were being asked to rally with Caedus again and hope that this was the end of it? "Foolish..." shook her head in exasperation only a moment before noticing the aura of a Knight nearby. Normally she'd avoid conversations with others but given the current circumstances, it couldn't hurt to get outside opinions. "Hello, may I join you?" She asked while maintaining a respectful distance away in case he did not wish to be bothered.

Before she had spoken he had finally noticed the aura, but still being suddenly addressed without looking caused the hair on his skin to bristle a little in surprise. He didn't let it show though and moved around onto his stomach to see who was there. It was someone he hadn't met. Interesting. And a good thing. It wasn't one of the aliens at least. He was a lot more interested in meeting his fellow Knights and other White Moon Senshi than wanting to meet any extraterrestrials, at least for now. He smiled a little. "Company would be welcome." He said, patting a bit of grass next to him to invite her to come closer. He moved back to his original position and stared up at the sky. "I appreciate it, actually." He wanted to talk to someone about these... aliens. Someone who might know more about them. He wasn't sure if this Senshi did and if she didn't that was fine as well, but he would have loved to hear the thoughts of those who had actually experienced rescuing the Royal alien.

Slate-blue eyes fell upon the telescope and she wondered if he was out here because of the Aliens or if he just simply enjoyed stargazing. “Thank you,” Alcor smiled down at him, grateful that he didn’t turn her away, and ran her hands down the back of her coat before taking a seat beside him. “It’s been an interesting few days…” an understatement entirely but she didn’t want to begin a conversation with a perfectly good stranger on a sour or bitter note. “I never expected Cadeus to return, let alone with an army and plan to end the war.” Something she still wasn’t entirely sure she agreed with because none of them knew the full ramifications of destroying chaos. Light could not exist without dark and darkness can’t exist without light. Even if the scale leaned heavily to the side, a seed of the other will still live on which is why she was truly convinced that this mission could not succeed. The Senshi of Cold tilted her head back and set her gaze upon a familiar star within the Ursae Major constellation and felt the pull of her homeworld calling. Yet, she remained definitely in place hoping beyond reason that the Knight she’d stumbled upon might be able to offer her wisdom or some insight to things she did not fully understand.

There was a moment of silence as the Senshi took a seat next to him. "Yeah it has..." He said in agreement. He still wasn't sure if he was ready to accept it. His eyes moved towards the Senshi when she talked about Cadeus returning. "You were there before? I don't know anything about him, other than what I learned at that first meeting a few days ago." Something was pricking at the back of his mind that made his hair stand on edge about the plan. "I know this isn't the opinion of everyone, and I'm sorry if you take offense as you seem to know him, but I don't believe this is going to be as easy as they make it appear to be." He chuckled, though not because he was entertained. It was a nervous one let out without control. "Too good to be true, you know?"And while he didn't know what she was thinking, it appeared that their thoughts aligned. There couldn't be order without chaos. One had to experience one of them to appreciate the other. It was the same with love. One could never experience love without experiencing the sadness that came with it. "It's why I came out here tonight. Well, I come out here a lot to stargaze, but it just makes me wonder. About what else is up there, you know? Maybe there are more aliens we just don't know about."

“No offence taken,” Alcor sighed, leaned back and looked up at the stars as he had been. “Honestly, I feel much the same way.” “I feel like my trust was misplaced last time everyone chose to follow him. While Caedus was able to get us into the Dark Kingdom, it was Cosmos who inevitably saved us.” Eager to have them fight his war but wasn’t there in the end to save them. Then again her concern was not being killed by a scorpion youma while retrieving Liryn before the floor crumbled beneath their feet. It was a harrowing experience and one she didn’t feel inclined to repeat again. She considered his other contemplations for a long moment. “I’ve only been to my homeworld a few times. But if the memories I’ve gained are any indication then there was many civilizations out there at one point. How many remain,” paused and shrugged her shoulders a bit. “I have no idea.” Despite her appearance and diminutive power signature, she had been a senshi for several years and seen many things in her surprisingly long tenure. “Out of curiosity, have you tried stargazing on your wonder? See if you could see further out there than you can from here?” SSBrosB I apologize for the long wait.

So there was more than he knew behind it. He thought he remembered Cosmos being mentioned here and there, but they seemed way too mysterious to him. He wondered if it would be worth it trying to find the answer to things he probably didn't need to know. Perhaps he never would. Best to concentrate on what he knew he could learn. "I'll keep that in mind then. We may be on our own when it comes to... whatever we're going to do." It usually was. Of course, he was sure that he could count on others not to betray them. It was much harder to kill someone as a Senshi without a weapon at least and weapon Knights usually weren't deadly. But he hadn't yet seen any Senshi or Knight that had wanted to betray others so much to hurt them, without becoming corrupted at least. He nodded though she wouldn't be able to see it. "I have tried. The telescope needs to be fixed. But I can tell that's what they were doing on my Wonder. A bit different from other Polaris Knights, but still as important. It helped track things, you know? Though I'm only just assuming due to the pictures and drawings that I've seen. But I believe that it would cause quite a fuss if a whole star went missing. I like to go there when I need quiet. I can take you there sometime if you want, though I don't believe I've shown it to anyone else." It was a bit of a shame really. It wasn't the most clean place due to all of the dust and whatnot, but it wasn't dilapidated to the point where one couldn't enjoy it. "There's a fireplace and area to relax in on the first floor, then you go up to the next to get to the floor with the observation room and other study areas." He looked at her. "What's your Homeworld like? I like my Wonder, but I'm amazing that Senshi can be in charge of something that's usually so much bigger than a Wonder."

“Your homeworld sounds lovely.” Alcor sighed, drew her knees up, and hugged them to her chest so she could rest her chin atop them. “I know my sister well enough that she would be jealous if I went without her though.” Eleonora seemed to love all things magic and wondrous. It was one of the reasons the Senshi of Heat often pressured her to return to her frozen world. “It’s actually somewhat interesting. My world, Alcor, consists of two stars; twins in a sense. The one I belong to is a blue star made entirely of ice. I thought it was a desolate place until I learned that civilization thrived beneath the surface. You’d think that it’d be dark down there but light penetrates through the everfrost ceiling easily.” Definitely, a sight to behold but there was a purpose for it. One reason was that the winds up top could reach terrifying speeds as it whipped through massive ice shards that jut out at sharp angles. “The other star is a red star, that one belongs to my biological twin, Eleonora. If that wasn’t enough coincidences, I think it goes without saying that if I’m the Senshi of Cold, then it would only make sense that she was the Senshi of Heat.” Given how frigid her own world was, neither was particularly brave enough to visit Ele’s homeworld yet. “Perhaps once this whole Alien thing blows over we can make a day of it. I could take you to my world and afterward, perhaps we could sit by the fireplace at yours to warm up?” Given how things often went with other Senshi or Knights, Alcor refused to let her heart believe that such a day might come since with her own abysmal track record, this might be both the first and last time she spoke with the Polaris Knight.

Alph smiled. "She could come with if you want. I don't have a limit on visitors. Only on the amount of time we can be there due to the limited amount of food and other supplies." He certainly couldn't live up there after all. If he could, he would be spending a lot more of his time there than here. He was surprised at how Alcor and her sister had different Homeworlds. He thought that may be a bit lonely, but the opposite part of it was quite interesting. "That sounds cool! No pun intended. But I mean I would love to visit either or both sometime! I'm always interested in visiting other Homeworlds and Wonders as well.
"Sounds like a plan. I can get the space ready too. Get some blankets and drinks that we can heat up and maybe some snacks." He got up from his position and took out his phone. "I'm embarrassed to say it, but I don't have the messages function on my ring yet. So my civ phone is the only way to contact others. I can put down an alias for you if you don't want me knowing your civilian name."

Alcor seemed confused by his comment about messaging functions and a ring but let it slide assuming it was a knight thing and not something she’d have to really know. “It’s fine, I don’t mind if you know.” With little more than a thought, she powered down. Her signature disappeared along with the ice skater uniform she wore and in its place were Sketcher shoes, a pair of black jogging pants with two blue stripes racing up the side, and a matching exercise jacket. “My name is Fiona.” she reached a hand out towards him in a formal greeting.

Alphubel powered down as well and was back to his jeans and zip-up hoodie that he had been wearing, along with a white t-shirt. "Jason." He said, taking her hand and shaking it and then letting go. He fumbled with his phone a bit and eventually got it to where he could share his number. "You can call or message any time. I can't say I've been powering up that much recently, but I would like to do it more." Besides just going and fighting Negaverse agents when something big came up. He should have a break soon in which he could go to his Wonder again. He should really use the chance to go back and check it out. Shanyume we can end this in the next couple of posts if you want!

“You and I are the same in that regard,” not powering up recently that is. However, she suspected that might change with the Vanguard’s arrival. “I actually don’t remember when I originally awakened, it’s been that long. The mauvian offered next to no guidance and the cost for keeping her life as a Senshi a secret was a price she truly regretted paying. Fionan had been her high school sweetheart and had she trusted him then they would have found out that he was one too. Instead, the burden had forced her to make a hard choice; to break up so as to keep him safe. A regret she’d live with for the rest of her life no doubt but there was no repairing what had happened between them. They had tried but the ties that brought them together were effectively severed, leaving Fiona more like her sphere than she’d care to admit. Seeing him fumble with his phone, however, did give her reason enough to smile and after a moment she pulled her own phone out of her back pocket and offered it to him in return. “Perhaps powering up wouldn’t be so daunting if someone else was there.” Kind of cruel to say since she always had Eleonora but the Senshi of Heat had a knack for attracting people of questionable alliances. SSBrosB Sounds good, I think one more each should be good.

He smiled. "I'm always willing to help someone out. I do like powering up, but I don't often get the chance to help others, at least that aren't currently victims of an Agent or Youma." It was a part of being a Knight that he didn't like. He rarely used his magic when fighting as well, but so often powering up just meant fighting another Agent and getting them away from the area. Nothing was done in the meantime. He had started to wonder if talking to them would be a better idea. Soon they had exchanged numbers and Alphubel was glad to have another powered contact. As much as he hated to even silently admit, it was something he was never able to his brother about, which he felt kept quite the rift between them. Though the toll medical school was taking on his sibling was creating quite the gap already. "I'm glad I met you tonight. It will take me a little bit to pack all of this up to carry it back so you can go first or we can walk back together until we need to separate. Either way, it's always nice to meet another White Moon Senshi."

“I’m happy that I ran into you here,” and for the first time in a long while, Fiona offered a genuine smile. It had been several years since she actually talked with someone outside the small group that was composed of Athene, Liryn, and of course her sister Eleonora. She loved them all in their own unique way but it was nice to get someone else's perspective on things. “I’m actually heading that way, but I don’t mind helping you pack up.” He might just need to instruct her on where things need to go since she really didn’t know much about telescopes or how to care for them properly. SSBrosB Feel free to wrap on your post.

Jason grinned. "I appreciate it!" A meeting such as this just proved why he needed to go out and power up more. Even if he didn't meet many more Polaris Knights, at least he could meet others that were on the same side that he was. Then he wouldn't have to feel so alone in this whole battle thing. And well, at least he now knew that there was at least one other who was at the very least not immediately accepting of the aliens' help. "All right then. I have to take this apart but if you go and bring the case over here, it should be easy to tell where the parts go if I just hand them to you..."Shanyume and done! Thank you for the rp!
