It had been a long few months since they first spoke of having more children. There was too much to do, with Aria leaving and Taliessin beginning her studies in full. Add to that the need to train new managers so she could focus more on her family, Itotia found herself too busy to even consider children. Thankfully, it was easy to plan when Kres was traveling with her daughter, so it only made sense to try once he was home and they had a plan.
It took longer than she anticipated, but with the two girls she knew each pregnancy was different. Even so, the signs had been there, and she was confident in sharing the news with her husband. It was still too early to write to their family, but they had enough to do first to get things ready. Right now, she was meeting Kres for a light lunch to discuss the expansion to their home for their young ones, as well as hopefully planning to provide space for their daughters whenever they chose to return.

Kresimir bad just bathed and tied his hair back on his way to meet Itotia for lunch. They had been trying to do more together lately especially with the girls having started to moving on in their own lives. It was always these little moments that he loved. They were supposed to be having lunch together so he made his way to the kitchen. "Good afternoon." He said with a smile.

Itotia smiled in greeting to her husband before finishing laying out the bowls of fruit and dips. They covered a small end of the table, the rest spread out with the plans for the new family annex. It was coming along well now that Kres was home, and Itotia would do all she could to help before the little one arrived.
"How has your day been?" She asked after pecking his cheek, grabbing a crunchy vegetable to chew on while they spoke.

He accepted her quick kiss with a smile. This would be a nice reprieve from all the planning. "Enlightening. There's so much that goes into building a house i wouldn't have thought of before this. But were on the right track and I think we can start building soon." He was excited for this next step of their lives and was excited to be able to work on it himself. "Yours?" Kres asked as he took a couple of pieces of fruit and popping them in his mouth.

That was great news. Before she found out she was pregnant, they had time. Now with the confirmation they had a deadline.
"I went to a healer today. With all the symptoms I've been having...I figured it might be time to see if it's in my head or actually happening ..."
She brushed her hand against her belly before finishing the last bit of food with a smile. She'd need to get back on the pregnancy diet, which wasn't so bad.

Kresimir cocked his head to the side slightly as if waiting for her to continue. A moment or two later he realized she had just not with words. A smile overtook his face. "And you are?" he asked excitedly. Kres watched her hand on her belly and couldn't help but reach over and add his own. "Now we really need to extra space." Kres said with a laugh, not knowing he was echoing Itotia's thoughts.

She smiled and nodded. Just like the last two times, it felt like Kres was always more excited than she to find out. But he was the family man of the two.
"It's very early but the healer was confident that I am pregnant."
She softly leaned in to Kres and laughed, " hopefully not too much to start. Still hoping to keep this to one, maybe two..."
" Not three." She finished firmly.

"So definitely four then." Kres jested before leaning over to give her a kiss. "How many ever the gods decide to bless is with is fine with me. " He couldn't help but smile as he ate a few more pieces. "I suppose we can make definite plans on the internal layout of the new house as well as make sure we have a little bit more definite completion date." With this revelation there would definitely be many more busy days in his future.

Itotia shook her head at the jest, focusing instead on the plans.
"Assuming Taliessin will stay with us ...and Aria when she returns possibly with your sister...we focus on the main structure and can plan for future additions as needed. Maybe a central hub with rooms coming out?"
This wasnt her expertise so she looked to Kres for his opinion.

"That's definitely an option. Sort of like a wagon wheel could work and allow for lots of different options. The question of, do we want a spoke per person like each person has their own wing. Even when the girls move on in their lives it could be useful for visiting family or even dancers that might travel or perhaps the ones who have been with us for awhile to keep their families nearby. I suppose another option could always be like a target, the communal areas in the middle with another building around with gardens in between." Kres shrugged as he thought, popping food in his mouth in intervals.

"Hmm ..I like both options. Is there a way to combine the two? I remember at the Red how the gardens were such a nice escape from...everything..."
She tried to picture it, before huffing and grabbing some graphite and paper to sketch it out.

Kres tapped his fingers on his lips as he thought. "I suppose we can do like portions of a wagon wheel....a couple of spokes meeting in the middle with maybe some private hallways on the outside. We could start like an hour glass. A 'family' section and a 'visitor's section so we could still accommodate others and give us extra space in case of unexpected visitors. The gardens could go between." He hoped he was voicing his thoughts well enough for her to follow.

She hummed while he spoke, looking critically down at the paper while she sketched. Eventually she shook her head and flipped it over before pushing it toward him.
"Sketch it out? I don't think I'm picturing it right..."
She moved to snack on more food while she waited.

Kres nodded his head and took the graphite pencil and paper from her. Carefully, as he wasn't exactly an artist, he first drew a sizable circle and labeled it 'living areas'. On either side of it almost like making a compassionate he drew a large corridor to the north and one to the south. On one he labeled master and on the opposite he labeled visitor. Then about 30' clockwise from each of the large corridors he made some thinner ones though they were equal in length. Betweem each pair he drew a curved hallway making them look like little pieces of pies. On the small branch by 'master' he labeled 'kids'. On the opposite side, he wrote 'smaller rooms, storage? ' And finally, in the middle of the two spokes he drew some plants and labeled gardens. "Something like this maybe?"

Itotia leaned in and nodded, smiling.
"It would be beautiful to have windows lining the living area...natural sunlight and the gardens would make it so peaceful. And if there was a way to have some pathways through it...we could have some safe places for the kids to play..."
