It was a sunny afternoon, which meant in Matori that the humidity fought with the breeze from the sea. Itotia was out near the sands, looking across the many inlets that surrounded her home. It was a rare break for the owner of the popular dancing hall, but Itotia wouldn't take it for granted. She had invited her husband to meet her there once he was done with his daily tasks so they could enjoy the alone time.
As she waited, Itotia thought about her daughters. Aria was growing up and heading off to explore the world, while Tali finally decided to explore a musical career much closer to home.

Kres had done his best to get done with his daily tasks. He always made sure to check on normal functions of the dance hall while his wife took care of the business side. It wouldn't do to have a loose or cracked floor board or water that didn't work. Kres was no where near what you'd call a handy man, but he did what he could and learned what he could in order to best help their family business. Yet today it was hard to go through checking and maintaining the property as it was a rare day that Itotia didn't have much on her plate and the two had made plans to spend some quality time together. "It's crazy how time has passed, isn't it?" He asked as he caught up with his wife.

Itotia turned at the sound of her husband's voice, her eyes crinkling as she smiled up to him. Moving close, she leaned in to brush her lips against his in a kiss of greeting, pulling away to take a moment to appreciate his presence. Even after all these years she loved the comfort he gave her by simply being there. It was if he existed to ease the lingering tension of her past.
"It feels both like yesterday and ages ago we came here with big dreams. I can't believe how everything played out..."

"Mhmm." He said simply as her words had him thinking more about their past. "We've come a long way that's for sure. Things might have been rough at times but we still plowed on through and made something of it, didn't we?" Kresimir placed his arm around her shoulders and gave her a small squeeze. "And now our girls are doing the same." There was no mistaking the hint of sadness in his voice.

She leaned into Kres and felt her shoulders relax, again taking in the relaxing silence of the sands and water. It was rare to not be caught up in the bustle of the Violet, and Itotia idly promised she'd take more trips like this with Kres.
"We knew they'd grow up eventually...honestly I'm surprised this didn't happen sooner...one of them wanting to see the world."

"I know it's inevitable but sometimes you just think you have more time. You never know that something will be the last time until it never happens again. Don't tell the girls but I used to love when they begged to braid my hair. It gave me time with them when I might not have. And now I don't have my little hair dressers anymore..." While he worried about Arianum he knew she needed this. It still didn't help his heart clenching to see his two other little loves growing up.

She smiled at the thought, how her daughters adored their father so much. She too missed those days where they were tiny dependent things that depended on them in so many ways.
"Don't get too hopeful, soon enough they might be bringing their own children to visit..."
As soon as she said that, Itotia felt a bit sad, "This doesn't make us old, does it?"

He couldn't help but laugh. "Of course it makes us old but we were bound to get there sooner or later. Lets not talk about Tali or Ari bringing home children of their own, that implies a boy was involved and I'm not ready to have to do that fatherly duty yet!" Kres pursed his lips as he thought about having to give boys the 'dad treatment' in order to make sure his girls were safer with them. "That line of thought makes me wish we had boys so I wouldn't have to be that dad." He said with a laugh and a shrug. "We're still no older than my parents had been when they had the triplets." It seemed so long ago that his two brothers and one tiny sister came into the world. Kres remembered how protective he had been of his baby sister and the thought of her traveling to Matori soon made his spirits raise slightly. She'd get to meet his family finally.

She giggled at the reaction, before patting Kres' arm in reassurance, "Oh trust me, well be having the talk with any boys if they come along. Ours or otherwise, not everyone is as gentlemanly as you."
She'd met enough men through her work who would need that talk and an ear pinch too.
Then she fanned herself, "Triplets...I can't even imagine twins...let alone three!"

With a sigh he knew she was right, they'd be having the talk regardless. Kres had to laugh again. "my parents definitely had their hands full. My sister and I did what we could to help out. It wasn't easy for them but I know they'd never change anything." He wondered if they would ever have a large family like he did. He loved all his siblings but he did know it was hard on his parents but everyone was loved.

Itotia realized after a moment that she had talked as if children were in their future. Thinking it over, she wondered if it made sense to try again. It had been so long...and their house was growing small.
"You always spoke about how much you adored your large family..." She said softly, not realizing she was echoing his thoughts.

"Mhmm. Some people might think a family with 5 kids in it would be chaotic. That there wouldn't be enough love to go around. Yes it was chaotic but there was so much love. I remember when the house my Mom had lived in in her childhood had burned down. So they built bigger to be able to accommodate the large family they wanted." Kresimir thought on that for a few moments. "You know, even if both girls decided they wanted to stay we'd still have plenty of room. The Violet could always be added onto anyhow." He wondered with her question of she was thinking along the same lines. "I think I'd like to have a large family too." Kresimir said softly.

She listened thoughtfully, humming softly as she listened and thought it through. The Violet was doing well for itself now, running much more smoothly compared to when she raised the girls. Plus, it was about time to train assistants, performers to fully help manage the groups.
"Well since you offered I fully expect you to lead the addition." She smiled up to him. Maybe it was time to have an official family wing. Even one disconnected like a small villa.
Biting her lip, Itotia let out a sigh, "It's been a long time...do you think I'm still able to have children? I hear some women no longer can bare them when they are older..."

Kres beamed back at her. He was fully prepared to lead a renovation or addition. He was fully prepared to do whatever Itotia needed him to do. "Ito, we're getting older but we're not THAT old. If I thought your health was at risk I wouldn't even think about having more children. As for if you're able to carry them. There's only one way to find out." He raised an eyebrow at her suggestively. "You still have so much life in you, I don't think you need to worry about your age. You're still strong and healthy. Me, however..." He looked to the small bit of 'dad bod' he had acquired. He'd been lucky he was still so active to not lose his muscle tone completely but no longer going off all over the place, and the food around here, meant he'd gained a little that was barely noticeable but still there. "What do you think? I think the Violet could use a couple more sets of little feet running around."

Her shoulders relaxed at his jest, believing in his confidence fully. She didn't have much experience in these things, most of the girls left her dancing hall before having families and Nuri and Aseara had been younger parents.
"If you don't mind chasing after them, I think I could manage a few more. Maybe not all at once though...triplets will never be something I want to experience again..."
