Delphi had mentioned it the evening before during the gathering but she wasn't sure if she'd been heard, she did hope she had been. It might be akward otherwise considering how many books she had tucked away in subspace for their alien guests.

She had earlier in the day splurged, which for her was rare, on books. Not the normal thing, not by far, but she had the money. Due to her job, which had her traveling a fair bit, the transcended knight had a lot of money. She didn't spend often and when she did it was nearly always on things which were on sale. Even if they were for work, clothing and such, she made sure it was all on some sort of sale. She didn't like to pay full price, she was careful with her money.

So the splurge on books, and without any sort of sale on them, was unheard of for her. But she was hoping to help the aliens who were visiting. When she arrived at the dome she stood there and glanced about. "I'm looking for Commadore Lyndin...I was here last night. I wished to talk to either the Commadore or Caedus." Maybe both? If they wanted to make alliances on Earth and gain minerals they needed to know more about this planet and how it was run, the issues with minerals, and it was a lot...

But she thought it might help them. She also would liek to know if her wonder might help them in anyway. Maybe they could help her as well....

For a few seconds, there was only the distant shadow of movement beyond the dome. A larger shadow appeared, and then Commodore Lyndin stepped out. He looked refreshed, but as a busy man it seemed like he always had something on his mind. Still, he greeted the Knight with a polite smile.

“If you are looking, you have found one of them, at least. I remember your face, but I don’t know that I got your name.”

He held out a hand to shake, apparently doing his best to adapt to Earth customs already.

“I am Commodore Lyndin. It is nice to meet you. What can I do for you?”

"I'm glad to know you remembered me. I'm Delphi, a knight of Polaris - the North Star." Nodding her head once, the soft glow across her skin a sign of her devotion to her wonder, she was dedicated to her wonder and to the planet it resided on. "My wonder was once a place of learning, law speifically. Not just the laws of Polaris were taught but from all across the Cosmos. The courts there oversaw many cases and judged them. I still believe in the need for knowledge and that is what I am here for tonight." Her voice was calm, confident, and perhaps a touch on the chilly side. She wasn't the warm and friendly sort...she never had been. She was a serious sort of person.

"You spoke last night of making an alliance with this planet and right now...that would be utterly impossible. This planet is made up of nearly two hundread seperate countries. Each with different governments, leaders, laws, customs and such. There is no one governing world body...this country isn't mature enough for that. We are a young world it would seem to me." Trailing off for a moment as she looked up towards the sky. "To have the technology you have would indicate, to me, a society that is not so divided...that works together. One government which works towards improvment. This is not that here." It was one reason she would like to see life back on Polaris...to see one governing system and where she knew Polaris herself would care for the people and think of them first, she knew her princess enough to know this about her. She wasn't the sort to put herself first over her people. She would take care of them and be just and fair.

"Here you will encounter many countries with many different types of government. You'll need to know about those governments, and the political parties which are involved in them. You'll need to know which countries work with who and are at conflict with who. Some of these conflicts go back a very long time and the reasons can be found in history books. Other reasons for dislike between countries are rooted in religion, recent conflicts including ones over territory, resources and the like. It is like walking through a battle field littered with land mines and trying not to walk on any. You have governments which treat their people poorly, and in some cases that is putting it mildly." She couldn't help the bitter laughter which passed her lips. She didn't like how people acted with each other on this planet. It wasn't something which sat well with her any longer. The more time she spent at her wonder the less she liked how governments ran here and how people behaved.

"I brought you books, a lot of books. I brought oms on history and some on religion, you'll need to know them to understand the reasoning behind some groups of people in various countries. I brought books on government for you as well." She wanted to arm them with the knowledge they would need if they did want an alliance with such a splintered planet. It was not one world they had to make an alliance with...but many countries.

"I also work as a gemologsy, I study precious minerals, so I included a few books on minerals found on this planet...including one addressing some of the issues which rare minerals have caused." Blood diamonds and conflict minerals...those were other issues. Her planet really did seem like a hot mess if she thought about it like she was now. She hoped she didn't scare him away with this planets issues because they were numerous and varried.

"I can try and help in whatever way possible, I'm willing to donate energy, I can even give energy to others since I've transcended. I want to see this conflict to the end and the sooner the better. I want to rebuild my wonder and see Polaris a prospering planet as it once was." Bending down she started to pull books out of subspace, many books, some thick and other sthin. Some were hard covered and some were not. But they were many books with varrious titles. "I hope you can read fast, I admit I got a bit carried away. But I wanted to best arm you with the knowledge you may need." Staring up at the alien with her light purple eyes. She did honestly want to help them as best she could.

"I do apologize, I know you have your mission to help us, but you had mentioned your other goals....and this is alot. But I think this would be helpful to see your goals to fruition..." Perhaps this was too much and perhaps she had been talking too much. But she wanted to help, she needed to help them finish this war and she did want to help these aliens.

Lyndin seemed patient as he listened, nodding along as Delphi spoke.

“I see. It’s disappointing, but I suppose it should be expected. Nothing ever comes easy. A united government would solve a lot of problems. We have had peace on Velencya since nearly its inception. But when there is so much at stake, people are better at coming together.”

He held his arms out to accept the books. “I am grateful for the information. We are woefully outdated. But, since you are so willing to share information, I hope I might ask some questions, as well? I’ll try to read through these by tomorrow,” he said of the books, but continued, “This world is full of life. And yet, you have a responsibility on Polaris. Did you awaken here, or there? Forgive me,” he said, and adjusted his stance a bit.

He was restrained, and professional, but obviously of all his questions, the most important to him was, “Does anyone here know anything about reviving other worlds? I see Earth alive, well populated. In disarray, it seems, but functioning enough for everyone to get by. It is no secret that my primary mission is to restore our homeworld of Velenia. I would do anything to see that goal realized.”

"I think it is expected in a world this young and underdeveloped that this behavior is still a thing. Some places are so far behind others and few help them, others take advantage of them under the guise of helping them. But few do things out of genuine concern and care. Part of the issue is people have been seperated by so many things over time that some areas developed faster and became great empires who as they expanded needed more, in terms of resources, and so took from those weaker than themselves. Humans are, by nature, greedy and full of many distasteful things...that isn't to say we're all bad...a mix. But people are people, as the saying goes, and these sorts of things are expected - sadly." She was sure he'd learn enough to understand how people grew to be so splintered and had not yet formed one government. They were so divided and he would see it and understand why. Perhaps coming to understand human nature better as well.

"It is ok, you have time to learn and if you seek an alliance you'll wind up here often I'm sure. You can take that time to learn about us and observe us more. Hopefully in that time we learn to work together in a more hamonious, and benefical, manner. I'd like to see us as a whole advance further in many ways...but first I think socially we need to advance." Without that they could not advance in other ways, as they'd need to work together to provide what was needed in order to advance.

"No need to be forgiven, there is nothing to forgive. The question is reasonable. I, like everyone else here, awakened here. And I mean here...right in this city. I don't think anyone you'll meet awakened anywhere outside of this city in fact. I've heard over the years that the Negaverse has taken over everywhere else on this planet...we're the last place they have not taken over...a strong hold and a becon for light. I fear we will not win this war...it tires on people...so much death and sacrifice. People want to move on and have jobs, families, and to live. To fight and be at war for most of our lives...no one wants that. We live much shorter lives than your people do. On average a female lives into her eighties....and many of us joined this war when we were in our teens." Shrugging a bit. She knew eighty must seem so young to the alien...but for them it was a long time.

"Most people want to enjoy some part of their life since it is such a short and fleeting thing. To fit a lot into such a small amount of time...but here we are fighting and warring this whole time. I am glad you and your people are here to help. Perhaps we can put an end to this once and for all. Then we can focus on this planet, it's people, and our homeworlds."

Shaking her head she smiled lightly, somewhat sadly. "No, I don't think any of us know a thing about reviving a world. Perhaps Cosmos herself. There is no life on Polaris that I can tell. It snows...there are plants...but nothing else. I don't think anyone has life on their planets aside form plant life. It is the goal of many of us - to rbing life back. I mean I doubt if people were brought to Polaris they would survive for long...there is no power on most of the planet I believe. It took time, months, years, before I got warm water at my wonder and then lights. I could show you perhaps, if you wanted, but it is not much I promise. I do love my wonder but it is lonesome with no one else there." And she knew that was what he wanted to know about, the matter of life on their wonders. She wanted to know about it too, in the same way.

"You'd think we would have life though on Polaris - we have our senshi...she's even a Princess. But no, that hasn't brought life back. I don't know if a senshi would help your planet or not..." But so far everyone single senshi here had a dead , lifeless, planet. Maybe it would take time but how much time? How many years or lifetimes...how many rebirths here and awakenings here before it was enough? The books he took would hopefully help at least in some way, even if they wouldn't help in revitaliving his homeworld. She wished she could properly help with that endevor but she was trying to do the same.

He paused when she began speaking of her Senshi. “I see,” he said, but there was some thought churning, rolling over in his mind as he contemplated the matter. “...If you had more time, I wonder if it would be enough to revive the world. You’ve said you live shorter lives. I can only wonder.”

He crossed his arms over his chest and seemed to think a bit more deeply on the matter. “...I suppose only time will tell. I would take even the reassurance that plant life has reclaimed our world. But...the last I heard of it, it was still an empty husk. It’s been dangerous to travel too far. If we run out of resources and don’t have anywhere to replenish our sources--if we wind up trapped in space with nothing to sustain us…”

He shook his head. “I can’t subject my people to that. It’s why I need the reassurance that we would have help if something were to go wrong. If we can learn how Earth has thrived, perhaps we can use that knowledge elsewhere. Not just for Velenia. We might be able to revive--and protect--other worlds, too.”

"If it is what you mentioend last night, the need for a senshi of your planet, than the logiucal thing for us would be that we do not live long enough and we do not spend enough time on our home worlds. We cannot spend enough time as we cannot sustain ourselves on them...so time would be the answer then." Time and a senshi for the planet. If it was that simple....and yet so unattainable for them.

"If we could sustain ourselveson our homeworlds for longer perhaps our shorter lives wouldn't even matter." It could be just a matter of resources and being able to live up there for a long enough time. But who would do that? To lose their friends and families while they remained in space in the hopes of rebuilding and bringing life back to their homeworld, with no guarantee of sucess. She didn't know anyone who would do it.

"I can hope that this works for you and that you and your people gain the help you need...and find your senshi. It might give us the answers we need as well. That is why I'm here to try and help you and your people. The information may help you in somehow attaining aliances here and resources you'll need to survive. If you can revitalive your planet than perhaps with the answers others can be reborn as well...and alliances in space for us can perhaps help us. We cannot go far in space, as you heard last night, but perhaps if once you attained your goals you would act as a mediator between us and other places so we could attain resources to live on our homeworlds in th ehopes of seeing life reborn there." Once life returned and resources could be foudn they might be able to make their own negotiations with places.

It was a lot to think about for her and not normal things she would think on. It wasn't even her place to do this...not really. She was not Polaris but just a knight. But with Polaris gone she wanted, and had, to try what she could. She felt herself to be the most senior of her knights and so it fell to her. She would do what she could to help Polaris.

Lyndin nodded as he listened, although it was a bit slow. He was trying to follow what she said, and it seemed like they both had similar goals: revitalize the worlds in space. The difference was, Lyndin knew how to travel and lived a long enough life to make an impact.

Delphi did not think they could do much with their short lives.

“Well. I hope you discover a way to sustain yourselves. If that is what you choose. It sounds like you might prefer to stay here on Earth,” he suggested, watching her expression carefully as he processed everything she had shared with him. “Because of your lifespan, it would be easier for you to stay here than try to develop another world?” he asked.

Of course he could imagine it would be a daunting task; he had many years left in his own life and it still felt like he had so far to go to restore his world.

He was disappointed that there was no sudden, easy answer. He wanted to know why Earth was thriving, wanted to know that there was some reason why they had been chosen to exist where the others had fallen.

"It's not that I'd prefer to stay here, I'd rather see my wonder flourish and life form on Polaris. It is my goal. It simply seems unattanable due to certain things which we cannot escape. As humans and living on a planet were space travel is nearl impossible it seems resources would be a massive hindurence to my wish to see life on Polaris again." As well as the shorter life span, if her thoguhts were in fact true.

"Perhaps you should also speak with Cosmos, if you've never before spoken to her, she may have some answers to better help you." She was someone Delphi had never spoken to but was now considering speaking with as well. It might help her with her own issues...maybe Cosmos also knew where Polaris herself was or if she was even still alive. She wished her princess was here now in order to help make choices about what they were all being presented. A chance to end the war, for good.

Lyndin watched her for a moment longer as he considered this; he nodded finally. “I wasn’t aware that Cosmos was welcoming an audience. I didn’t think she left the Cauldron. She has never come before. I do not know if she will come now. I am surprised that she has an impact here on this world. I would be careful not to call her too often if you can help it. I thought she was the protector of the Cauldron. If she isn’t there to defend it…”

He let the question hang unfinished in the air and shrugged a bit.

“We’ll see. I hope she is being careful out there. She must be spread so thin already.”

The dome rippled behind him and, Caedus stepped through with a bit of curiosity. He smiled, a bit apologetic, but friendly all the same. “Forgive me, Commodore Lyndin. I was told you were out here.” He saw Delphi and smiled again, nodding his head politely. “Hello. I hope I am not interrupting.”

"I've never met her but I've heard of her saving people before...a group, when they breached the Negaverse. She had to pull everyone out I heard. Some have spoken to her from the whispers I've heard. But I don't know how common it is. I'm sure some will seek her out." She didn't doubt that. She knew some would look to speak with her as she was the most knowledgeable out of them all, in terms of space and such. She at least knew what else might be out there beyond this planet...beyond their own homeworlds. She was the most likely to have a clue.

"I assume you know who she is then...but she has never spoken to you or anyone else that you know. Perhaps it is because she is also a senshi that she has spoken to some here?" She honestly wasn't sure...but now she did want to know, she might have to seek out the lady of the Cauldron and ask her things. Delphi would make a list when she got home of questions, and take some time to add to it as she thoguht of them, before perhaps seeking Cosmos out - if she could.

"What exactly is the Cauldron and why are others not there to defend it if it's so important? Why not knights? She has them so why leave them here and not bring them with her to help?" Maybe a question better suited for Cosmos herself but she did wonder about that now.

Smiling as the two were joined by a third, by Caedus, she bowed her head to him. "It's alright, it's not bad. I thought I'd bring some books by to better understand this planet. It was mentioned during the gathering that perhaps trade agreements could be made with this planet...but it would be very difficult to do so. I thought it a good idea to bring information on how hard such could be. I don't mean to frighten you from the idea or to dampen spirits. But I don't want you all going into things thinking it'll be easy. We are a fractured planet - very fractured. To be honest we are never fully at peace...there is always some fighting going on between countries. It's a lot to take in but I thoguht giving a general idea and history, to give context, was a good idea. I didn't think anyone else would." Who would be thinking about that and who would want to sour the mood. No one but her. But she was being realistic.

"I was also hoping if you are all lucky with restoring your planet...perhaps a way could be found to restore our wonders and homeworlds as well...to bring life back to them." Shee smiled a bit, though her cheeks were flush with embarassment. She was passionate about saving her wonder and her planet...about restoring life. But she also knew it might be a bit much for some. She also knew her pouring so much information onto them, negative tghings, might not be seen so well. But who knows...maybe they could help with that too?

When Caedus was welcomed by Delphi he offered a quick smile, and Lyndin seemed grateful to have him there as he considered the Knight’s words.

“That would be ideal,” Caedus answered. “I would like to see life on all worlds, as it should be. I hope for as much.” He smiled and joined Lyndin, standing at his side. “Thank you for the books. I am fond of text. I will do my best to read them and better understand the state of the world. If that is permitted?”

Caedus looked to Lyndin to make sure it wouldn’t be a wasted effort, and Lyndin nodded. “That sounds good, Caedus. We’re focused on the short term for now, but we’ll need a long term plan after all of this goes through. This planet sounds like it needs a lot of help.” For a few seconds, Lyndin seemed to contemplate, but he shook his head and returned his attention to Delphi’s previous question.

“Do you truly know nothing of the Cauldron? It is the birth of all life in the Universe. Cosmos herself tends to the rebirth of souls. She is the keeper of starseeds, and she alone holds the power to restore them. They return to the Cauldron and she heals them, and breathes new life into them. Without her, the Cauldron would collect souls but no one would be there to return them. It is a power only Cosmos has. It isn’t something that can be delegated to any other. That she has taken the time to leave the Cauldron says volumes about how important this planet must be.”

Lyndin sighed. “...I only wonder why it was this one. She must have a plan if she keeps sending the starseeds here.”

Nodding her head the pale eyed knight motioned to the books the Commador was holding. "Of course, the books are for anyone who has an intrest in the long term goals you had mentioned at the meeting. I think they will help some, because as I said before - it's complicated and deep." Very deep in some cases.

"And this planet does need a lot of help. I'd like to see peace here...but I doubt it will come any time soon. My parents and family fled Russia, to here, to escape the communist government there. It's not as bad as it once was there...but it's not good either. People flee countries all the time for safety reasons." And no one should have to flee their home country in order to be safe and happy - it was wrong. She'd heard enough from her parents and grandparents over the years. She was just glad they, along with severals aunts and uncles, where all here and safe.

"I don't personally know about it. I don't know if everyone does in fact. We rarely see Cosmos though we know of her." That made some sense and like Lyndin said...it was peculiar that she would keep sending starseeds here to be reborn. "If this is the only planet that is alive perhaps that would be why? So we can work from here to bring life, slowly, back to our planets and wonders," They could be reborn here over and over again and keep awakening and keep going to space to help fix things, pick up where the last rebirth left off. Eventuallt life would need to start there again - right?

"I wonder if all starseeds remain with her for the same length of time....or if some can be sped up or slowed down. If she's timed it all so we're gathered here together...all of us reborn here at the same time, even if in different countries and places." As some had been, and she knew it. She knew some had been born, and awaklened elsewhere, and had died.

"What plan could she have? I don't know her." So she had no idea what someone like Cosmos could be thinking and planning.

Caedus peered at the books with obvious curiosity and he tilted his head to the side just a bit to read them a bit easier; once, he glanced up to give Delphi a sad look as she recounted the story of how her family had to flee for a new life, but he was quiet as she spoke.

Lyndin stayed focused on Delphi the whole time, nodding along as he listened.

“I cannot fathom what she might have in store. But I trust that she has the good of the universe in mind. Sometimes you don’t have to know a plan to trust in it,” he mused. “I hope you can bring back life into your planets and wonders. It sounds like Earth is...struggling. And with all the turbulence in the universe, you would be better together than divided. Being a single unit might be the only thing that saves you.”
