Clack - clack - clack -sharp heels hitting pavement, soft tin of echo as they quickstepped over cracks and errant potholes with a skip. The slid of metal over asphalt heard easily, light jog that left a trail of sounds even the dead could have followed.
Abandoned shed, warehouse district, and the thing that towered there, rusted outside and windows smashed out. How it creaked open as the noise bringer swung open a bay door that had nearly come off its own hinges. Skreech of iron that lanced through the air for that.
A swoosh of blue fabric disappeared into the near pitch darkness - a glow - precious bright screaming soul of a glow - sweet little crystalline gem that held some poor saps life, clutched between a spiderweb of pale gloved fingers with tipped glimmering nails - disappeared into it as well.
Cast off aura and cast off light - cast off harsh panting as Diasporite knew he was being followed - the soul a lure as much as he was - a simple idea that had become a race against time and a race straight into action.
If he could get the Senshi hot on his heels - trade one soul for another....
Test the soft freshness of those he was told were his enemy. An easy thing to believe in the aftermath of his induction into the organization.
Beyond that though?
It was kind of fun, an experience, a test of skill and wit and Diasporite couldn't hold or hide his grin. Couldn't pretend to be anything other than thrilled to have finally been let out of the play pen and into the night air to do as he wished - within reason.

Keiko was getting very good at attacking first and talking second. And for once, whoever this was seemed as though they were actually up to no good. What a concept.
Whoever it was that she was tailing...they were very well dressed at least...all of those ruffles and that color was…
Quite stunning, actually.
“And what do you think you’re doing, creeping around in the night and just...poking around at things that don’t, and most likely won’t ever concern you?” Her voice was firm, ringing, holding a fierce authority in it.
“You know, if I was part of the police--” She snorted silently, knowing that if she was part of the police she would be at a distinct disadvantage so thankfully...she wasn’t. “I would tell you to Freeze.”
She blew out her magic towards the negaverse agent, once again pleased that it wasn’t something ridiculous that she had to say, it was simple, something that they wouldn't see coming.
But, he would feel it, that was for sure.Shiningamisgirl Freeze. Keiko draws in a deep breath after saying the name of her attack and blows it out, towards an opponent. The breath comes out a pale, icy blue and can travel as far as five feet away, in a cone that is five feet wide. The attack can only effect one person, and that person will feel a sharp, bitter cold as though they have been outside in sub freezing temperatures for a little too long. Once struck by the cold breath, the feeling of freezing lasts for thirty seconds. This attack can be used twice per battle.

His mistake was looking back to laugh at her as she told him to freeze. Like this were some old cop movie... Any verbal retort he could've thought to make was caught in his lungs as the frozen air coalesced into a pool around him. Seemed to take up footage, seemed to eat his lungs and make him shiver where his precious treasure flew free. Diasporite stumbled, shivering hands that caught around himself in cold as the precious glowing life he'd been holding bounced - plinked off the cracked surface of the earth below - rolled with a crystalline clamor - dim pulsating glow that off-cast the shadows around it. Diasporite swore over the chatter of his own teeth. Cussed a slew of bitten words as deeper within the place - back against the wall - a shiff of chain sloughed across the floor. Places where the inky darkness seemed unable to be breached by moon nor outside light, where something that had patiently lurked suddenly lurched. He'd had a plan - set a trap - had thought to use his wits where his weapon would have failed him... Hadn't counted on dropping the starseed though.

Keiko looked so pleased by the fact her magic had worked, yet again. Obviously she was getting better at it, and each and every time she used it was...well. Wonderful.
She was having a good, inner gloat when she felt something else in the area, and as her eyes landed on the starseed, she lunged for it, appalled that he just...well. That he had taken one at all but...the fact that he just dropped it like it was some quarter prize from a gumball machine. “The ******** is wrong with you? Do you often play with people’s lives like this?”
The youma hadn’t really been noticed, not until it too tried to get the starseed, and Keiko let out a surprised shriek and drew her arm back, punching the creature’s face with every ounce of strength she had, just by sheer confused fear alone.
“...What the <********, this guy deserved a lot more than just her magic. She wished she had more to offer. He should lose his head for this nonsense!

"T-t-the i-intent hadn't been t-to drop it!" stuttered phrase shiver-coughed free from where he knelt in the pool of cold. Could almost feel the frost cling to skin and lash, felt tinted blue from all the shivering he was doing. Like unable to shake the insufferable shake that pervaded his bones. Way the freezing temperature seemed to seep even through the bountiful layers of his uniform until it was bone deep. Magical icy b***h. He hadn't meant to drop the thing though - the gem was a prize to lure in 'her' - or really, any substantial enemy worth luring. "Nothings w-wrong with me - you though? You're about to be on the b-business end of 'wrong'." thought himself clever with retort for the earlier 'freeze pun', groaned at himself for trying. Even as he made to move to pick himself up out of the cold spot.. Easy image of nights ago when he'd come across the skulking shadowed beast that rattled like chains shiffed like rake of claws over steel and concrete alike. He had been warned, severely, by his General, and others, about playing with the ones found out in the wilds. Youma that lurked in lakes and forests alike - snatched energies and didn't heed little upstart lieutenants. Except Diasporite hadn't gotten to see one in action - not really - not until now. Until he watched the creature swipe up, clearly starved for the errantly dropped prize. Whump-smack of sound as fist collided with shadowed fur - pained snarl that emanated and echoed the space. Had Dias hairs on end and eyes tracked bright for the thing - hungry beast versus icy beauty? Poor fragile little life caught dancing in a shimmer between them? He wondered who would win.

Well...her punch hadn’t been quite in vain, at least. Keiko held the Starseed close to herself and then shoved it into her subspace pocket, because…duh that was the whole reason for subspace pockets, wasn’t it? To keep things safe. Keep them out of the way and out of the hands of stupid agents and claw-y youma.
“The hell with this! Freeze!” The attack was aimed at the Youma this time, and Keiko hoped that if she destroyed the youma...she would be able to scare off the agent. He would be warming up far too soon and...that just wasn’t the best of things to happen. But. This guy didn’t seem like the chatty type...especially when he was stealing souls and summoning monsters so…
So she would have to just keep fighting.
Standing, she looked towards Diasporite and sneered at him, before bringing her foot down onto the Youma, kicking it repeatedly over and over. <******** you. ******** your creature, and ******** the fact that you stole someone’s soul. You heartless b*****d. Once I’ve turned this thing to dust, it’ll be your head I’m going to stomp on.” Keiko was rather pleased, and thought that she sounded suitably scary.

"Cry me a river you icy c---" cinched words that were clipped off into a gasp. Scowl and scream of frustration, because 'senshi', because his darling youma. Hardly his, but he could still hiss for it. Could still cringe back as the cold faded from his limbs, as it engulfed the being before him and.... Ice covered ash - crystalized dust - a cry that reverbed and bounced back, loud enough to shudder Dia where he sat, and watched with wide rose eyes as his plans shattered along with the creature. The way the beast that drew chains crumbled. How that left it lopsided as it snapped it's tooth laden maw over air - sought the seed that was stolen from it - sought life and caught freeze and ice for all its trouble. Seemed to stagger and hack before the Senshi - bled the essence of the rift that made up its form... Staggered away, before lunging once more - attempted to impact the Senshi with its degrading form and dying breath. To hinder her and take back something of its own - even as it fell like the walls of Jericho. "Sit n spin on it Senshi! I'm sure you'd like to bloody your pretty little heels - that's all you people do - wretched gnawing space vermin." a magical plague, an infestation that should've been cut out at its core. Except she had more power here than him. Was stronger and faster by far - and all he had was jewelry that tipped his gloves and was meant to be a weapon? He'd also had an idea; a trap that was going oh so poorly. Now that he realized that what he'd caught was far too big to be held in such tiny bounds. That dawning lightbulb in his brain that had him looking for exits - praying for the door he'd come in from...if maybe he could just....if he could get to it without notice.....

Keiko ignored his cryptic words. Ignored everything about the lieutenant, honestly. It wasn’t worth her time..well, at least until one of the stomps of her feet caused the youma to explode into a lovely pile of dust. When she shook it off of her shoe, she turned to look at the male, a dangerous smile now lighting on her face. “Well. Looks like your guard...creature has bit the dust! I think now i’ll do the same to your head, unless you turn tail and flee right now.”
She was a little tired after using her magic twice, but she moved into the stance to do it again, just to be a little extra threatening.
This had been fun. Attacking someone who actually deserved it, and Keiko was eager to leave here with a well earned victory under belt. The youma had gone under, and she clearly had the upper hand here...not to mention a starseed...though she wasn’t sure...who it might belong to...or how to get it to them. But…
She could do her best. Or give it to someone who could help better than she could.
“You have until the count of five. One.”

Heard *two* - and felt his heart clench beneath the ruffles that fell in soft waves around his shoulders. Bereft little shock of sound for the absolute ruin of it all - his plans - the beast. Watched her put her foot straight through its skull - grind out the dust beneath her pretty heels. Which, if she wasn’t afraid to get them dirty? If ash was not a deterrent and the snarl and open maw of defeated beast did not end her… What chance did he have, and if she put them though his skull? Could have - very likely thing that she could have - seemed to relish the thought even. Felt what he thought was *three*, the sound of it - slow count down to his death and he finally fell out of his frozen stupor and moved. Tiny useless glitzy nails that scrabbled along with catch of metal and brocade heel. Panicked breathing in his ears, his own, he was sure. Hard to tell when he was busy fleeing, throwing himself through the open escape opportunity and hitting the ground in a staggered run - not a word or clever quip to throw back in the face of such a terrifying woman. Just the desire to put distance between herself and him.

Grinning wolfishly at his back, Keiko snorted softly and twirled a lock of hair around her finger, amused by just how quickly he had run. It was good though. Easier for her. Now, she just had to see if it were possible to save whoever had lost their starseed...time wasn’t on her side for that, buttonight had been a very big, very satisfying ******** that guy!
