Athalia had managed to exit the park with very little long term damage. In all honesty he would have said that he had come out completely unscathed from the entire thing, in large part due to the timely intervention of several individuals both friend and 'foe'. Whether it had been a Dark Mirror's timely interruption or the intervention of peculiar bubbles from the hand of another senshi, hell, even a page, was entirely irrelevant. The fact of the matter was that in the moments he had absolutely needed assistance he had gotten it and for once those who had come to his aid had shown courage and tenacity.
Well, perhaps he had misread one or two of them, but in the heat of the moment they had all come across that way.
It was for that reason that he had returned to the park the next evening. What evidence of battle had been here before had been conveniently wiped clean in certain parts, while other elements of destruction had been fashioned to seem like vandalism. Wonders would never cease with this city and those who sought to hide the truth of what actually went on...
Still, he hadn't come here for any specific reason. At most he had come here to reflect on everything that had happened and what that meant for him. It might not seem like much to an outsider but the very fact that there had been those willing to prove themselves had given him pause for thought and instilled him with a degree of hope he hadn't felt before.
While he continued to ruminate, sat comfortably on the bench in his powered glory, his companion had begun to pick her way through some of the mess for anything that she might find useful. Namielle rarely liked to involve herself directly in battle but she wasn't above collecting scraps of evidence that she might deem useful later. Every now and then she had an epiphany and pursued a new invention, other times she was simply out there for intel.
Every now and then the tip of her tail could be seen bobbing through some of the incinerated rubble, but so far she had yet to find anything mind-blowing!

To say Deneb was mad was putting it lightly. To say she was absolutely pissed was a much better way of putting things. Deneb normally did not stick her neck out for others, much less in the middle of a big all-out brawl between Chaos and Order, but something in her had driven her to intervene in the fight going on between Athalia and the three Chaos-aligned individuals, if only because he was of a higher rank than her, which meant he had come into contact with a cat at some point in time. Generally, she preferred to follow a policy of you got yourself into this mess, you can get yourself out of it, but she as was eternally chasing answers as to why she still hadn't ranked up after all this time, she had made a very spur of the moment decision to leap into the fray, putting herself at risk and nearly exhausting her magic. And then, once things had started going south, he'd had the gall to leave her behind, without so much as a 'thanks', or an attempt at learning her name! No, instead, he had grabbed that Mars page, and had left her to figure out her own escape plan. It didn't matter that her own plan would have been to ditch and leave him to his fate, once her magic ran out, if the fight had dragged on any longer, it was about the nerve of it all, to leave a lady such as herself behind. She hadn't intended to, but somehow, Deneb found herself retracing her steps from the previous night, to the park where it had all happened. It wasn't actually along any of her usual routes, and going the entirely wrong way to her family home, but just as she started to correct herself, she caught another Order signature, and one belonging to a Super senshi. There were only so many reasons someone would come this way, and thus, she decided she would get a closer look. As she drew closer, though, Deneb began to realize just who it was that was skulking about, and began to run towards him, to catch up. She wasn't normally one to exert herself like this, though, and thus by the time she finally caught up to him, she was practically wheezing, even with the increased speed that being powered up allowed her. Still, Deneb managed to look incredibly angry in spite of it all, and pointed an accusatory finger at Athalia. " You," she began, stopping to catch her breath, "You have some nerve, doing what you did."

To say he was a little confused was an understatement. What had he done to deserve such an accusatory point. He was quiet for a moment as he gave the senshi a quick look up and down, affording her at least some time to catch her breath. Fortunately he did remember her relatively quickly and it dawned on him that perhaps he might have forgotten someone the previous evening - not a great look on his part and one that was likely to earn him a slap from the Mauvian near by.
"Ooh now there is a tone I haven't heard someone use against you in a while," the female voice chimed as the Mauvian clambered out of the rubble and padded towards the pair. She was partially covered in dust, taking on a lighter sheen than she normally would. It wasn't long at all before she had taken a seat and cast her gaze towards Deneb with a curious smile. "How did we annoy this one then?" She asked curiously.
"By not expressing my gratitude for intervening in a rather large battle yesterday evening," Athalia replied. "Had she not cast her magic when she did I suspect I wouldn't be as healthy as I am today," he added and glanced down towards Namielle with a wry smile.
"I was surrounded by a number of chaos agents at one point and she caused enough of a distraction to make sure I didn't get my a** handed to me," he clarified. "Though I don't believe I caught her name," he admitted and turned to Deneb.
"Which means introductions are in order then, heat of battle and all that," Namielle waved her paw dismissively.
"Indeed, I'm Athalia and this is Namielle," he flicked his thumb towards the feline. "And who do I owe my good health to?" he asked Deneb.

The presence of a Guardian Cat caught Deneb's attention first, and she felt herself relax a little- if this senshi was an acquaintance of a Mauvian, perhaps she could forgive him for his actions just a little, maybe. It would be important to leave a good first impression on this cat, after all, assuming they weren't as insufferable as cats such as Etoile and Pipen had been. At the very least, her own first impression of Namielle was positive so far, so that was a start. Introductions were in order, then, and she straightened herself up, once she no longer felt so winded. It was important to be composed and elegant; looks were just as good as personality, after all; her time at Crystal had taught her that. "I am Deneb, Senshi of Bubbles," she greeted, with the poise and grace of a highborn lady such as herself, "Pleased to make your acquaintance."

"Well it's an absolute pleasure, I'm rather glad you were there to intervene when you did," she smiled pleasantly at Deneb, shaking some of the dust from her fur as she padded closer to her. As the senshi of bubbles Namielle did have to admit that it was a rather deceptive sphere. She knew one or two individuals who would laugh at such a thing and question its usefulness but Deneb's intervention was proof that it did have a use.
"Though if he thinks that recognising that you deserve gratitude is actually gratitude then I suspect I might have to smack him upside the head on your behalf," she raised both eyebrows teasingly at Deneb, though fortunately for Namielle, she did not have to chastise the grown man who had taken to resting on the bench.
"Far from it," Athalia replied from where he was sat and shook his head. "I owe my thanks for that, he pointed out and looked directly towards the senshi. It was then that he gave a bow of his head and smiled warmly. "So you very much have my thanks for arguably saving my life by being an absolute nuisance to those who had chosen to face me," he began and then motioned to her.
"And my apologies for my failure to provide a formal introduction as well -"
He squinted.
"And one for leaving you behind actually, if I recall that part correctly as well," he murmured. His brow had furrowed, he did remember dragging at least one individual away while ordering others to run, but had he given any direction instruction to Deneb? Sometimes a generic 'run' simply wasn't enough in those situations.
"You didn't," Namielle hissed in disbelief.
"I can't see everything Namielle, if I could I'd be far more dangerous," he replied bluntly.

"Your apology," Deneb said, after some thought, "is accepted." Acceptable was what she wanted to say, but she would behave, and mind her manners. Namielle, at the very least, seemed to be the more sensible of the two, and Deneb found herself warming up to the Mauvian, a first for someone who had previously declared herself to find the felines detestable. Well, she had said that, yes, but honestly, all she had to do was meet the right cat, to be honest, and Namielle fit that bill. "A pleasure to make your acquaintances," she added, politely, but also, now that the conflict had been resolved, she felt somewhat... deflated? Awkward? A rarity for someone so stuck up as her, but she hadn't really chased them down for any other reason other than to demand an apology. And, well, now that she had that, what else was there to do? Certainly not make small talk. "... Well! As long as you recognize you made a mistake, I have nothing more to say," the senshi of bubbles stammered out, hoping she could still save face while she still could. Turning on her heel, the lilac-haired senshi of bubbles made her slow exit from the scene of the battle the previous day, without even bothering to ask to add them to her contacts. Would she run into them again in the future? Time would tell. Quote: srry for a two years late response, wrapping up for reqs
