Rydan 1
It was a lovely day in Matori. They were visiting from Oba, a kind of refresher until they got on with the rest of the year. He had a break from his thriving practice, that was the thing about Oba he was never out of work there because the demand was always super high.
Might be a good day to go foraging, he set off to find his woman and pitch the adventure idea to her, after all the kids were out it was time to have some fun themselves...least they forget how to.

Thea sat leaning back with her hands holding her up as she looked out at the ocean. It was nice to be back in Matori. The breeze coming in off the sea was sweet and it helped her to relax some. With her twin boys off doing... whatever it was they did these days.. (She should really be concerned about that at some point.)... she had time to simply enjoy the day. Closing her eyes she leaned her head back and let the sun warm her face. She had no plans and that meant she could do whatever she wanted.

Spying his mate, he walked over to her and collapsed beside her, positioning himself beside her so he could stare out at whatever she was also looking at.
"Since our darling little hellions have abandoned us yet again, what say we go on a little hunter gathering adventure so we can feed the monsters on their return? Hrrmmm? Adventure, freedom, your hand in mine, what more could a man want?"
He leaned his head over on her shoulder. He kept building muscle from work and she kept looking absolutely deliscious.

She peeked over at Rydan when he sat next to her. Thea was too aware of her surroundings not to have noticed him coming closer. It was part of her job after all. When he leaned against her shoulder she couldn't help the half smirk that tugged at the corner of her mouth. "Hmn, I'm not sure what a more a man could want but I suppose that is what my Tree Dragon wants." She couldn't help teasing him a little. Thea reached over and poked Rydan in the forehead lightly. "I'm surprised you don't want to just lay in bed all day." Her mate did work hard and they were supposed to be relaxing for a few days.

He stared at her and tilted his head predatorily. "We could do that too, but I promise you Thea," he whispered in her ear before nipping the lobe, "That we wouldn't be sleeping."
His turn to smile, in a mildly evil manner. She always let him just be himself, and sometimes more than himself, because she had every single key to his heart clutched in her tiny adorable fists.
"Come on, I'll give you a piggy back."

Well she hadn't been expecting that response from him when she'd teased him. Not that she was complaining. But it did cause a nice blush to move across her cheeks. How was it that he still made her blush and have butterflies like when they first got together? That was years ago! At his last comment she gave a small snort and rolled her eyes at him. "Mhm, you just want my legs wrapped around you is all." If he wanted to make little insinuations then she could too. Thea winked at him before she shifted to get up from her spot in the sand.

He watched her with the slow smile, that he practiced in a mirror just for her. He started to growl softly, so just she could hear it, smirking the whole time. He knew his kitten had big ol' claws and he would have it no other way.
She was the most beautiful soul mate he could ever have hoped for. Their sons had inherited her fire and he was grateful for it as it meant they would never be pushovers. She was light on her feet as her profession called for and sensitive to all around her, which could only be a good thing for him. He worried about her getting caught but likely in the same way she worried about him accidentaly smashing his hand at work. He would save her if needed and she would ice his mistakes and laugh when his thumbnail decided to grow back after being bruised so badly it fell off. He was lucky both hand still worked properly.
"Theanduri," he said in a liquid purr, "Be mine tonight."

Sharp green eyes watched him. Theanduri heard the growl and she saw that smile. Did they do things to her? Absolutely. Would she let him know that? Not right now. Instead she smiled almost innocently at him as she held her hand out for him. He needed to get his butt up out of the sand if he was going to give her a piggy back ride anyways. His little purred words made her give a small tilt of her head at him. "Just tonight? Does that mean tomorrow I am someone else's?" Now she grinned at him. "When am I not yours, Ry?" Sure she was a flirt but no one was allowed to touch her. No one but her mate. The adorable antennae'd tree dragon she'd found dangling upside down so many years ago.

He snorted. "You know exactly what would happen if anyone else dared to touch you. I meant more of a when your not working or doing your own thing. When you spend time with me..."
He liked a good cuddle, every man secretly did or at least he thought it was so. Most of them were just too macho to admit it. And cuddling would be enough if she needed it to be. But it had been a long time.
He wanted to feel her fiery heart burn him again. She was his sun and moon, sea and stars. "I love you Thea."
He took her hand and used the muscles in his legs to help her help him up because he was bloody heavy and she was lithe and light like a sermal. But way more beautiful.
"Where do you want to go?" He asked as he crouched for her to leap on his back. He secretly loved carrying her, she weighed about as much as a feather anyhow.

A grin was given to him at his answer. "I do, do I?" She looked up as if in thought. "Hmn, no.. I don't think I do. Don't think its ever happened.." And it wasn't going to but Thea could tease Rydan a little. "I love you too, Tree Dragon." As she pulled him up with his help she leaned in to kiss his cheek lightly before he had the chance to crouch down. Now Thea was an opportunist and her lovely other half had just presented her with the best opportunity. Instead of leap on like she might have before she decided to place her hands on the back of his shoulders as she leaned forward to whisper into his ear. "Well unless we moved without my knowledge our bed is that way." The hybrid thief lifted one hand to point in the direction of the place they were staying. Her hand returned to his shoulder as she finally put her full weight onto him, letting him carry her weight. "But if you really want to go gathering, I suppose we can go that way." This time it was her other hand that pointed in the general direction of where to go.

Rydan 6 He wrinkled his nose at her just a little, then smiled, because he just couldn't hold it in when she started her little act that set his blood to boiling so simply and sweetly that he thought he might just fall over from the force of it. He held steady thankfully through shear will power, so they didn't topple. He barely felt her weight but he did feel her and her gentle, sweet soul. She basically owned him, and she knew it. Now came the impossible decision, the bed or the bush? Should they go on adventure in the wild or stay safe at home. Two of his most favorite things and on top of that any time with Thea was amazing. He cherished every moment with his saucy little mate. They said dragons mated for life.

While Rydan took the time to figure out where they were going, since he was given the choice, she nuzzled into his neck lovingly. Thea gave a purr of her own, or the best rendition of one that her human vocals could give, and smiled against his skin. With her arms and legs wrapped around her lover she closed her eyes contently. "Hm. Decisions. Decisions." Yes, it was meant to be a taunt of sorts. "You know.. the twins are old enough now that we could have more and not be overwhelmed." Was that tipping the scales to one side? Possibly. Her eyes opened just slightly as she looked at Rydan to see what he would do with that little bit of information. Would he still want to go out gathering?

He swallowed when she purred into his neck. He froze when she kept talking and for all the world stood like a statue for a moment until he crouched and sprinted with her on his back to their bunggalo.
He thanked the gods that their pesky sons were out terrorizing the rest of the world for once and not their dear parents. He loved them so much and he missed them but not exactly at this magical moment. He skipped joyfully across the threshold and swung Thea around to his front so he could bury his face in her neck and maybe get her to giggle.
The house was quiet and peaceful and he felt like he was in a really good dream.

Well that certainly got her other half moving. And from the looks of it he made up his mind as to what they were going to do for the rest of the day. Being moved around as she was did make her giggle and her laughter increased when she felt Rydan return the favor of nuzzling. She kept her arms around him and smiled. "Just because I am light doesn't mean you can toss me around, Sir." Thea placed another kiss to his cheek. "So I take it you are okay with having more little monsters running around?"

"Mmhmm, I want a daughter," he said smugly, "Instead of those two sons who worship you, a Daughter picks her Daddy." His sons totally pranked him about three times more than their Mother, she wasn't immune but at least with Iexa she wasn't usually the target. Little brats could run faster too. He had to work on his cardio. The mad giggling drove him insane when they bugged him. They actually respected Thea. Probably because she could catch them way easier.
"If we have more sons I suppose I will survive that too." She knew he was sooo proud of his boys. All Dads were extra proud of their boys.
