[ Suria 1 ]
Suria was wandering through Oba, closer to the Matori border than usual. She was avoiding her home town, possibly to avoid the pressure of her mother to make a decision about her life, possibly because she had always been a wild spirit. As a result, she was traveling with a shady group of people, but she at least had her blades on hand to ensure they didn't get too close.
As they approached a small settlement near the border, she grew comfortable with the group, enough to let her guard down. That would end up being a mistake.
Some how, one of those buggers found a way to nab her coin purse. The thing she needed to get through this area. Shame caused her cheeks to redden as she gripped her dagger with frustration, bright eyes snapping about to figure out just who would dare take such a valuable thing.

Cahira had enjoyed traveling through Oba as she honed her swordsmanship. Every day had been spent with some form of training as she explored both the wilderness of the deserts and the bustling life of the cities. So far she hadn't encountered much trouble until she came along this settlement along the border. "He-hey!" Cahira let out a curse as she realized someone had nabbed her coin purse. Unfortunately for the earthling who had dared to take her coin the hybrid was full of both energy and the determination to take back what belonged to her.
As she gave chase the young swordswoman realized that the thief had picked another target along the way. "Keep up if you want your belongings back, I'm definitely going to catch them!" She called out as she ran past the other hybrid, her crimson hair blazing like fire as it flew behind her while she pushed forward and started to catch up the the thief.

[ Suria 2 ]
Suria caught sight of movement, and quickly realized what was happening. The young girl she once had been would have felt helpless, but the traveler and determined woman she was now quickly gave chase without a second thought. She took a moment to glance at the woman who was also chasing the pickpocket, noticing she was a hybrid. Suria was glad this woman was so quick to react, as it might mean she'd get her coin back and not suffer too much the rest of her trip.
Cahira was fast, faster than Suria, and so she quickly determined what to do.
"I can keep on their tail, maybe you can hit them from the side?" She puffed out, keeping her voice low enough that hopefully only Cahira could hear.
Eventually, if this thief was smart, they'd start breaking their path to stop them from charging, which meant they could use their numbers to their advantage if they were coordinated enough.

Cahira nodded at the advice. "Sure, I think I see some crates up ahead. Maybe I can crash them." That way she didn't have to draw her blades, even though she was determined to stop the thief either way. Cahira frowned at the thought, darting forward so that she could try to cut the thief off from the side. The pile of crates were just up ahead, if only she could push herself to be quick enough!

[ Suria 3 ]
"Go for it!" She said with a breathy laugh of determination, making sure to keep her eye on the darting thief and ensure they didn't lose them in the meantime. She too wasn't interested in pulling out a dagger, instead hoping to ensure this person was subdued and maybe shamed into not doing it again. Or at least thinking twice before assuming a petite woman was a worthy target.
In an effort to get the thief to go close enough, Suria pushed a little to the left side and let out a grunt. She shouted an insult, sending them a rude gesture as they looked over to where she was and hopefully providing the distraction Cahira needed.

Ah, perfect. Cahira grinned as she noticed the distraction from the other hybrid. What an insult though! A laugh nearly escaped her before she focused back on the task at hand, the swordswoman twisting around another merchant's stall to get towards the crates faster. One, two and three! Bumping into the crates with as much force as she could muster with her shoulder, Cahira listened to the loud creaking noise as they started to move and gravity took hold.
Crash!
Cahira let out a laugh, now that the crates were blocking the path where could the thief go?! She glanced over, watching as their thief in question realized what had happened and panic crossed their features. "Good time to give us back our belongings." She called out with a grin, one hand on her blade just in case.

Suria slowed down and took her place, a dainty hand landing on her hip as she grinned at their their. She wouldn't have been able to get it on her own, but with the help of this girl she successfully trailed the thief down.
"Better hurry, and I'll be nice and not parade you around the village so no one forgets your face."

The thief seemingly looked around, as if pondering his options before noticing that Cahira had joined them. The hybrid had taken her sword out of its sheath and was holding it directed at him. "No funny business." She advised with a glare, trying her best to look intimidating despite how flushed her cheeks were and how disheveled she was from the mad dash to the crates.
A sigh left the boy's lips as he dropped a bag of loot, the contents spilling and revealing Cahira's own coin purse. "There."

Suria stepped forward and picked up her own items, before sighing.
"You really should find better work...that is if you want to keep all your fingers."
She wiggled her fingers at the end, before stepping back and gesturing for Cahira to grab her own things. The gesture showed off her own dagger, easily accessible for her to grab in case someone had any ideas.

Cahira nodded and picked up her belongings, carefully scooping her coin purse back into her sash. "So what now?" She asked the other girl who had helped to catch this thief. "Do we simply let them go?" She glanced back at the boy, a teen by the looks of things, and sighed. Maybe if he just promised to avoid other peoples' pockets she would be willing to let him go?

Suria wasn't a justice warrior like her brothers and so she wasn't inclined to drag the their by the ear to the local guard house. Instead she stalked closer, glaring down at the boy as she pulled her dagger out playfully.
"Maybe we should pick a souvenir of our own. They say an eye for an eye..." she smirked down at the teen, "Stop praying on people who don't deserve it." She said sternly.

"Okay, well he didn't take out an eye." Replied Cahira, holding her sword still just in case of trouble, but now more wary despite the playful nature of the other hybrid. She knew that she had to be jesting but part of her was worried...what if she wasn't? Some earthlings could get very upset if you tried to steal from them. "Maybe you should go work at the docks if you want some coin." She offered the teen. "Some honest work helping to load a cargo ship should get you the same amount of coin, without risking your eye." She gestured towards the other hybrid watching the teen's face pale as he slowly nodded, eager to not lose an eye.
"Alright then. Sounds good to me." She glanced over at the stranger and gave a slight nod. "If that's alright with you."

Suria liked the power she had with a weapon, it was so much more than when she was powerless. Defenseless. She didn't want this boy thinking he could become a lawless shadow, so she smirked and spun her dagger for good measure.
Wiggling her fingers as the boy rushed away, she turned and nodded toward Cahira while putting away her dagger.
"Nicely done." She chirped, before moving forward to scoop up the other stolen items, "might as well drop these off with the watch. I'm sure they are missed."
Nodding one last time, she added a soft, "thank you for your help" before heading off, ready to get a drink after the burst of energy.
