Name: Isha Ansari Nicknames: Baba, Kadu (both are from his parents/older siblings.....) Pronouns: He/Him Age: 19 Birthday: December 5
School: Mayet University; working for double degrees in Paleography and Archeology
Hobbies:
Festivals/Celebrations -- Isha really, really, really loves holidays and all of the hubbub that usually comes with them. His love and interest blossomed as a young child through his family's rich cultural heritage and celebrations, blooming further as he grew older and learned more about the various cultures around the world and their celebrations and holidays. His apartment is always decorated from top to bottom with whatever his current obsession is as he goes all out with enjoyment. (Also the best part? You can celebrate alone!)
Cellphone Games -- Isha is a whale and has probably spent more on gacha phone games than anyone should have ever been allowed, and yet he goes on. But really though that was only at the beginning of it all - now he mostly plays whatever he can get his hands on for fun. Adventure games, idol idle games, match three and beyond - if it's in the app store or someone has sent a link he's probably downloaded it and played it at some point in time.
Pui & Mol -- Is it safe to call pets a hobby, because if by going through the general standards of what counts as a 'hobby' then these two guinea pigs certainly count as such. Purchased 100% on a whim because he "had room on one of his dressers", Pui & Mol are two (incredibly) spoiled guinea pigs who have nothing for want in their tiny, piggie lives. Fed only the healthiest of organic vegetables, sleeping only on the purest of nesting materials, they live life high on the hog (pun intended). Isha lets them run around his apartment in little balls whenever they want, and has probably constructed obstacle courses and race tracks for them. So spoiled. (They also live in an immaculately clean cage at all teams because, well, mess + Isha = no!)
Calligraphy -- Isha has beautiful handwriting so why not put it to good use. Don't judge him. Probably developed this hobby after looking at too many Illuminated manuscripts and crying. There's something calm and inviting about a hobby that involves using neat, clean strokes - all of which appeal to Isha.
Pros:
Taking Care of BusinessEfficient -- Isha gets stuff done and gets it done quickly with little to no extra effort. Part of it stems from his want to be left alone/not have to deal with others, and another piece of it comes from his want to get it done correct the first time so as to not have to do it again. He's by no means a perfectionist and there will be times he has to start over, but generally whatever task Isha puts himself towards he completes without issue and in good time. He loves to make lists , shh!
Something there?Curious -- Naturally curious in almost all regards of the word, Isha enjoys learning new things and seeking new things out. He's always keen to try his hand at an experience at least once or twice (depending on the outcome), and his zest for knowledge cannot be understated. Thankfully he is not nosy or a busybody, as his curiosity does not extend towards the well-being or actions of others unless it somehow directly impacts him and his own personal interests. It's fairly easy to pique his curiosity with rumors and gossip, however it is hard to hold it in place if those claims turn out to be false and intentionally spread to cause problems.
Doing fine on my ownIndependent -- Isa doesn't really need to or like to rely on others to get things done, and more often than not he doesn't need anyone anyway. Capable of handling tasks to various degrees under his own power, he's quite good at doing things by himself and without the need for instructions or assistance. Known (in his family, at least) for being able to make good, rational decisions from a young age, his ability to function independently has been something of a hallmark to his personality. Of course the importance of being independent also means understanding when to ask for help if needed and also recognizing those situations, which Isha (begrudgingly) can do. Sometimes. He's getting better!
Cons:
I do not wish to be perceivedAsocial -- Isha....really doesn't like people. While not a misanthrope nor someone who prefers inanimate objects/animals over humans, Isha simply doesn't really like socializing. He'll talk when he needs to or when he absolutely has to, but actively going out of his way to engage with anyone - "friends" or strangers alike - just isn't something he'll do. Family members seem to be something of a rare exception to this as he's a bit more active in terms of conversations and even showing small amounts of affections, but even then that has limits before he simply retreats back and doesn't want anything to do with anyone for a while. He can be called an introvert if people so choose, but it just might not be that simple.
To everything, a proper placeNeat freak -- Isha's a bit of a neat freak in that he prefers things to be organized and tidy. Shoes go with shoes, you don't leave clothes on the floor, and for the love of all things important, don't mix. Mix what? Does it really matter when the point simply is don't? Not yet to the degree where it can be classified as obsessive compulsive due to the fact he allows a little clutter and finds some forms of it "pleasing to the eye", it's more that Isha prefers things to just look good at first glance and not have to be worked around to fixed to get what should have originally been given. People who are generally sloppy in appearance and actions will get a wary side-eye from him, and if they somehow invade his space and cause strife he will downright avoid them even more in the future.
I'm fine, stop askingGrouchy -- It should be no surprise that, while being asocial and more than happily independent, Isha could be considered quite....grouchy. Or rather, someone who just specifically goes out of his way to not want others to ask about him, or want to ask others for help with things. He knows it's a problem - the asking for help bit - but considering he feels he can handle it on his own without the need for others then why try? And why do people want to talk to him or help out when he clearly doesn't need or want it to begin with? It's a difficult and thin road Isha walks on, because while he isn't outright rude or mean - such would absolutely be severely detrimental to his studies in school and other aspects of day to day living - he's not exactly a friendly ball of sunshine either. There are layers beneath his grouchy shell of a guy who is kind to friends and family (in as much as Isha is inclined to be), but outward he gives off the air of someone who is best no spoken to.
General Appearance
Standing at about 5'7", Isha is considered a giant in his otherwise short-statured family. He's tanned, with red eyes and blue hair that leans towards the more greenish-teal side, depending on the cut and style. Often, he likes to wear hats or sweatshirts with hoods, as he prefers to keep his head covered for comfort reasons.
Clothing-wise he's quite fond of things that are long-sleeved and more dusky in color, though if anyone were to rummage through his wardrobe they may find a few brightly patterned outfits here and there. He does own a few traditional outfits to wear when summoned back home for proper festivals and celebrations, but those are tucked away where the light of day (and two curious piglets) may not find them. Oddly he owns quite a few pairs of khaki capris and ratty sneakers, as shoes aren't super on his list of things to wear. Sandals are a favorite if he has to wear things at all. If not wearing khakis, jeans are good too.
He has no piercings...yet, as who knows what the future will hold?
Uniform:As the Dark Kingdom is a militaristic organization, all base stage Dark Kingdom officers will start out with their choice of one of the basic uniform options. Further stages will allow for additional customization and the ability to personalize your agent to better suit their specific character development, but for now the things that designate them as an individual should be limited to basic accessories along with their secondary color.
Base Uniform -- List which option you've decided on. Base Uniform Color -- List your base color preference. Secondary Color -- This color is up to the player and will be used for the piping/trim on the Dark Kingdom uniform.
Gloves -- Yes/No. What kind? Shoes -- Should be functional and practical. No stilettos -- think classic pumps for heels, combat boots, military dress shoes, etc. Accessories -- While nothing should be too flashy at this stage, are there hair accessories or bits of jewelry that your character absolutely would not be seen without?
Weapon Bo Staff (starter weapon)
Additional Question for Quest Characters
What makes YOU a good recruit for the Dark Kingdom? Isha practically breathes a desire to reclaim history and is working on two degrees to prove it. His need for things to be organized and neat works in his favor for getting tasks set where they need to be and his strong dislike of people and willingness to work quickly to get things done should prevent unnecessary grandstanding or anything else of the like.
On the civ side of things -- personality-wise, Isha looks good overall! Our one bit of feedback would be to keep in mind that in being recruited by the Dark Kingdom he will have to work with others! It does seem that you've accounted for that in the way you've written Independent & Asocial, so you should be good, we just wanted tou briefly touch on that!
The only other thing that we'd like to touch on in regards to your civilian profile is the following:
Quote:
Currently his hair is greenish-blue and half-shaved due a rather unfortunate lapse in personal judgement and an even worse judgement of people who are now very much former friends. Isha hates his haircut and regrets it every time he looks in a mirror, and so he never leaves home without his head covered in some way (a hooded sweatshirt, a cap, a beanie, a paper bag). While at home he simply avoids a mirror so there's no real harm there.
While we understand that this is something that happens IRL, in the context of a premade character that you had no control over designing something like this can come off as disrespectful to the art and the artists who spent time working on it. A difficult part of 'last pick' in a raffle is coming up with ideas for something that may not have been your first choice, or something that might not entirely match your personal preferences or overall aesthetic (or passing on a character if that is your preference to do so). We understand that, but as a player you don't have to say that in the content of your profile when a base description or 'see official art' might have sufficed -- especially when things like hair can grow out, change color and be styled in a dozen different ways easily through the course of role play once approved.
We are asking that out of respect to the art team you update this -- again, you are free to role play as you'd like, but it needn't be notated in his official profile how much he dislikes his hair! Instead you could possibly put notations on what his natural color is? (Is it the darkest color on his art or the blue, like his eyebrows?) Or notate what his preferred style choices are, as you've done with his clothes?
Whenever you've had a moment to review and update this please quote me and we'll continue!

WELCOME TO THE DARK KINGDOM! Your character has been approved!
★In order to unlock Powered Role Play you will need an awakening RP with one of the Shittenou -- in your case the one in charge of the North. More information on this will be available soon! Once it is we'll get a role play set up for your recruitment officially!
In the meantime, feel free to get settled in with civilian life! We would highly recommend setting up a [Powered Journal] to keep track of your role plays! Once Isha is awakened to Apatite completed role plays will count towards growth requirements.
We look forward to seeing you around Mayet!★
**Please note, powered Role Play is unavailable at this time. It will be coming soon! Stay tuned!**
