These pets must be given away via user-run contests and games. No purchasing a semi-custom here and then handing it over to someone directly, sorry! They must be given away fairly in contests/games/etc. Unless the tribe/test tribe dies out, it's required that the pet stay in that tribe specifically, since the tribe owner paid for it. If tribe/test tribe owners try to pull a fast one on staff and break one of the rules, they risk having their right to buy these semi-customs revoked completely and can even land themselves on the shop's greylist!

Welcome to the Labyrinth A home for foxes that possess infinite curiosity and the drive to satisfy it. Labyrintine Tribe Thread.
Values The Labyrintine values life-long learning above all else. Foxes join this tribe because they wield their questions and curiosities as tools for discovery on all topics. Members can be scholars of anything and everything that interests them, and their fellows support their studies. The tribe is a safe place to debate, invent, and explore. Some foxes enjoy examining nature, while others enjoy pushing the boundaries of invention. Still more find their life's purpose interrogating universal truths about the world.
Teaching is an essential and unique part of life in the Labyrintine. Foxes who are seen as experts in their chosen field often have a passion for sharing their knowledge, and this extends far beyond the bounds of the Labyrintine’s tribe members. Foxes willing to hold lectures and practicums often open them up to any interested foxes. For example, the Labyrintine’s expert botanists are more than happy to teach newly joined Gatherers of both the Labyrintine and other tribes the basics of identifying various herbs and their applications.

Response: From a very young age, Mehmet had been fascinated by the cultural differences found between foxes in different areas as he and his sibling roamed the land. Unknowingly crossing into Labyrintine territory one day as they sought out shelter for the night, the presence of the twins was discovered by a few of the scouts and they were led through the winding tunnels of Mt. Tenjin and, finally, presented before Elder Daedalus. From the little he had seen, Mehmet was eager to learn more about the customs and culture of the tribe, but he cared about the wellbeing of his sibling first and foremost, always. What a situation they were in! What to do, what to do...
After apologizing for their accidental trespassing, Mehmet proposed an idea, secretly hoping that he wasn’t overstepping too many boundaries: Perhaps the two of them could stay with the tribe for a bit, to recover from their travels? Or, at least for the night? They wouldn’t be staying for free, of course - Mehmet all but insisted that they repay Labyrintine for their hospitality by helping the tribe out with... well, whatever daily tasks they needed done.
They stayed one night, then two. Mehmet tagged along with the scouts, lending a paw and happily providing them with information from his travels. One week, then two. Settling into his new rank, Mehmet decided to pursue what was arguably his favorite area of study: linguistics!
Weeks turned to months, and as time passed, one thing became clear: the siblings had found their stay permanent.
Knowing all of that, my question to you is: Who is this fox? How do they fit in with the Labyrintine Tribe? Were they eager to join alongside their brother, or a little hesitant, and what was it that helped them feel at home here?
This honeycomb fox wants to join the Labyrintine tribe because they love to study… something! What is the topic that commands their attention the most? How did they become so fascinated by it, who encouraged their curiosity, and what lengths would they go to learn more about this topic?

Crede Members of the Accolade possess a very strong moral code. They believe in three core tenants: courage, compassion, and cooperation. Only foxes that possess all three of these traits could handle life with the Accolade.
The Accolade is dedicated to saving others. They travel the world in search of foxes in need and work in tight-knit groups to help those they find that are in danger. They are often heading toward natural disasters, braving storms, or facing down predators. They place themselves in harms way to save others to the best of their abilities, never leaving a fox behind if they can help it. Injured and displaced foxes that the Accolade rescue are welcomed into the tribe's temporary encampment for as long as they need to in order to recover.
Foxes in the Accolade either form or are assigned to teams of three to complete tasks. Forming a team is akin to becoming a family. The members of each team tend to camp near each other, they eat and train together, and they bond and form close connections with one another. Trust is an absolute necessity in this Tribe. There are different types of teams that foxes can join in this tribe:
Field Teams: The Accolade never sends foxes out on missions alone. They depend on each other to remain safe, and each fox brings a different skill to the group. Every field team is comprised of a Knight of Justice, a Companion at Arms, and a Knight. This combination of designations was deemed best suited for all kinds of missions.
Medica Teams: Medica teams are responsible for tending to and healing rescued foxes and members of the Accolade that have sustained injuries in the field. These teams consist of a Knight of Grace, a Seneschal, and a Squire.
Training Teams: Training teams are very versatile, and can be comprised of any three foxes regardless of designation. New foxes and pages born into the tribe are assigned to a training team that suits their personality and plans for the future. Foxes that aspire to join the ranks of the Knights of Justice, for example, will most likely be assigned to a training team that consists of a Knight of Justice, a Knight of Grace, and a Knight.
Hunting Parties: Hunting parties ensure that the Accolade has enough resources to care for their own and any visitors that may be staying. These teams are comprised of a Knight, a Seneschal, and a Companion at Arms.
The Knight Commander will often assign new members to the more experienced field teams for their first few missions in the Accolade. New members must complete rigorous training with a training team before they're ready for a mission, and it's more than just physical ability. The trainers need to recognize in each fox the core tenants of the Accolade before they deem them ready for the field.

The members of the Accolade often find themselves in stressful, life-or-death situations. How did this fox handle their very first mission with the Accolade? What was this fox's role on the team, and what happened during the mission? How did this fox handle the pressure, and were they ultimately successful?

Response: Miel heard the same thing growing up, over and over and over; "Did you know- -- you look like honey!" After enough comments (and a moment of irritation at the repeated phrase), Miel decided to look into what this honey business was like, stumbling upon her life's passion in the process. Not only was honey delicious, but bees were an essential part of the health of plants and food around them. Miel spent ages on her own with bees, slowly perfecting the art of bee-keeping (to the best ability a fox could perform!) and learning more about her buzzy friends along the way.
She met the Labyrintine while tending to her bees, stumbling upon the Elder on her route. At the time Miel wasn't too interested -- foxes were harder to talk to and she struggled with her more blunt and direct nature and their feelings. Eventually, it began to nag at her after she had a brief conversation with a member within the tribe; she could spread her knowledge and good faith towards bees to others if she joined them. Foxes tended to fear bees, but what if she could help aide foxes in their understanding of them?
She arrived before the Elder one evening with a determined expression and several bees in her hair, spilling one sentence: "Let me join you."
And the rest is history!

This Is Where I Come From

Response: When Galyna was never too fussy of a kit and always had this almost eerily calmness to her even when what would be normally stressful situations arose. One day her parents unfortunately went to the ground and Galyna was alone.
She was quick to learn how to survive on her own. Whenever she saw other foxes in need she'd do her best to help before moving on. One day one fox she helped told her about the legend of The Accolade.
Curious she listened as the fox told her about Tios and Godric who helped other foxes in need and ensured each and every fox was treated equally. The legend inspired her to continue in her efforts in helping other foxes whether that was precuring food or medical aid for other foxes or simply getting to something from a high place that a fox was too afraid to get.
Galyna had always been taught by her parents to be kind to others and they didn't just tell her, they showed her. She admired them a great deal and always strived to be like them. Galyna does for others not merely in honor of the memory of her parents or because she was taught to help in anyway she could but because she feels it is her purpose.
Her calmness and ability to face what might frighten others attracted her to the tribal members of The Accolade and she was offered to join them. Galyna accepted and through the time she has been with the tribe she often goes out as a scout searching for others in need and was quick to find such foxes.

Response: A jewelry maker and collector, Ophira wandered with her brother aimlessly, occasionally learning new ways of jewelry creation based on the cultures of those they met along the way. The two of them stumbled upon Labyrintine completely by accident, but the people were kind and generous, offering the two of them pause in their journey. Ophira, unlikely to admit how tired she was, gratefully accepted the offer and settled on the edge of the tribe lands for a few days, letting her brother explore as he wanted.
It wasn't surprising she befriended a few members of the tribe, but it did surprise her brother when she began to leave their temporary den to indulge in the tribe, finding their way of living and pursuit of knowledge more than exciting. She was given access to the materials they had collected and created a few pieces for the tribe members, to which she was praised and complimented. Ophira hadn't ever considered her hobby a true skill, but with the encouragement of the tribe, she found herself welcomed and pushed to pursue her talent further.
Ophira hesitated to tell her brother of her interest in the tribe -- she had always been the noncommittal one of the two -- but luckily he also had grown attached. The two settled down within Labyrintine, never looking back towards their wandering ways.
