"We do flights," said a voice. It belonged to a pair of hands slipping a sugar cookie iced like a d20 into a waxed paper sleeve; the rest of its owner was hidden behind the plates and baskets of baked goods nestled in a glass-fronted case near the door. "Check the sign up top, I'll get you in a minute."

The aforementioned sign was a pink paper printout in an upright acrylic frame. 'Can't Decide? Try a Flight!' Below were all six flavors (on a separate piece of paper taped to the outside of the frame) and the price, and below that was a little covered takeout tray of six bite-size mini cupcakes each topped with a spiral of frosting, identical to the full-size cupcakes below except in size.

A teenaged girl in an apron with the bakery's logo and a black hoodie with a red and white stripe down one pushed-up sleeve emerged from behind the case, slid the cookie and a gently steaming cup of coffee across the counter to a bearded man with a backpack slung over one shoulder, and started punching buttons on the register. "Still running that paladin in Tomb of Annihilation?" she asked, picking up what had evidently been a conversation in progress.

"Oh, no, our DM's running her own module now. Less meatgrinder, more role-playing. I'm a tiefling hexblade."

"Sweet. Patron?"

"She's not telling."

"Ooh, you're gonna get visions, aren't you. Okay, your total is.."

Once the transaction wrapped up and the customer had been sent on his way with a 'Try not to die!', the girl looked around the side of the bakery case at Lena, quirking a brow. "Need any help deciding?"
