Pendour sent out the invitations a week ago, hand-painted things, each with a scattering of nebula brushed across the top and a message to come meet on the Moon written across the bottom.

She hadn't actually been up to the Moon before this, but hearing that she could go up there on her own with the help of a little pearl had her curious, and the fact that others could come, easier than they could go to each other's worlds, had ideas swirling in her mind of what they could do with a place like that.

Because of that, she'd sent out the invitations, and when the day of the full moon had come, she'd headed up, curiosity in her heart and a plastic tote full of supplies in her hands. She'd arrived early in the evening, giving her a full half an hour just to stare at the ruins around her and the Earth spinning above before she had to pull out her supplies and get to work.

In the end, she set up a tea station between a few crumbling columns. The hot water was in a few large thermoses. The teas were mostly of the herbal sort, with lots of chamomile and lavender to help people relax. Others had names like Pomegranate Passion. There was a single tin of proper, imported English Breakfast in case someone was very, very committed to wanting that caffeine kick this late in the day. There were a variety of teacups that she'd picked up from thrift shops the week before, mostly lovely, dainty things that almost seemed to fit in a place like this that had once been some grand castle.

On a bench nearby, she'd set out anything that could fit in her subspace pocket that she'd thought might give a moment of calm to people who had been through entirely too much. There were coloring pages, ones of planets and stars, mostly. There were crayons and colored pencils and even some watercolors, and blank paper, too, in case that was more someone's style. There were small tubs of slime in a rainbow of colors, some studded with glitter and some textured like clouds. There were small squishy stress relievers with a calligraphy sign that said take one!

After it was all laid out, she poured herself a tiny cup of the pomegranate tea and sat cross-legged on the dusty ground, staring up at the Earth with a smile that was soft as soft. Even if nobody else came up at all, it was all worth it just for this view.

Welcome to my mini-orp! This is meant to be a casual get together for Order characters to meet each other, connect, and relax a little after all the stress they've gone through! There won't be any official prompts, but I will post a soft close in about two weeks, after which you can claim a regular requirement if you've got 500 words in.

Page Voyager

When he had received the invitation he had to keep himself from practically squealing with joy. Pendour, whom he had met before, tea, and getting to go on the moon?! He wasn't sure if he was more excited for the tea party and talking to Pendour again or if he wanted to see if he could take a "souvenir" for his collection.

Well, even if he couldn't, perhaps the view would make up not being able to take anything with him. When he said that he needed help getting there Pendour had secured a pearl for him and he had gotten there as soon as he could, surprised that he appeared to be the first one beside their host. He heartily waved at her when he saw her and walked over. "Pendour! It's been a while! Thank you for the invitation!"

----------------------------------------------------------

Squire Sumner

The invitation has been unexpected but not unwelcome. Considering how he had to be in the hot sun, though shaded thanks to his lifeguard chair, he gladly took the opportunity to get out of the heatwave. He should have gone to his Wonder more often but didn't want to go for only a couple of hours. So he had to make sure he had the time to really enjoy it there.

He made sure to bring some snacks that would be paired well with tea and other drinks that Pendour may have brought. They hadn't been required to bring anything, but at least he would eat them. When he arrived he held the box of scones underneath one arm and looked around. Even without life the moon seemed to be beautiful. Of course it couldn't compare to the water, but there was something serene about it.

He walked over to Pendour as well giving her a small wave. "Pendour, thank you. I brought some scones if anyone wants to eat them." He looked over at the Page and wondered what planet had a pirate theme, before turning back to the host. "Sorry we haven't been able to talk more often. You would think that sitting in the sun most of the day wouldn't exhaust you, but I've found myself falling asleep as soon as I get back to my apartment." He said with a chuckle.

Eternal Encke

The moon.

Encke had rarely been to the moon. Cosmos had taken him, and several others, once. It wasn't really a place he made a habit of visiting. Fascinating, but it wasn't his. It didn't belong to anyone he knew. Perhaps it belonged to Cosmos?

In any case, he had always felt like his attention was better focused elsewhere.

But it did hold its utility. A place that was easy for any senshi to get to with a phone or any knight to get to with the proper upgrades to their ring. A place that was also free of Chaos. A place that was also in space. And Pendour had organized this little gathering. It was easy to get Encke to accept. And, of course, his acceptance came with something - or someone anyway - else.

"Basi," Encke grinned, letting go of his hand and gesturing to their surroundings, "know you've never been here. Can you believe we're on the ******** moon?"

He let out a snort of a laugh.

"Well, suppose this is more believable than a comet or Uranus. Anyway, if look around, might be able to see Earth out there--"

Transcendant Bifrost Knight of Chronos

She was sure she'd been here at one point or another, but Bifrost couldn't remember when exactly that had been. Before her mental breakdown, for sure, but it had to have been... years. She thought perhaps when they'd gone in to find the old Academy for Caedus was the last and only time she'd been? Then again, it wasn't exactly easy to get here unless you'd stayed up to date on the ring upgrades.

But she was here, for tea, and honestly? Of all the ways Bifrost could use to step back into the powered world on a more regular scale, this was the gentlest she could. Better than dealing with a fiesty little senshi and an overly familiar - to the senshi - agent, at least.

"Thank you for the invitation, Pendour! My grams sent me with finger sandwiches and pettifores," she said to Pendour after Sumner and Voyager greeted her, and held up the canvas bag of tupperware. "Oh, I'm Bifrost of Chronos, by the way! I'm not sure if I've met all of you yet..."

It had been a while since she'd been an active knight, after all.

Super Kepler

She hadn't been to the moon that she could remember. Maybe once, when she had first joined the war, but it had been a hot minute if that was the case! So of course she was going. Especially with a cute little invitation like that? Kepler had put it right into one of her memory boxes and squealed over it.

While she didn't know Pendour, there was excitement in meeting her. In meeting anyone new. She hoped there'd be lots of new people.

Once Yumi was snuggled into her arms, they left, as one does, to the moon.

Upon arrival, Kepler let Yumi go and looked around with a wide smile. It was definitely more beautiful than she imagined. "Wow, Yumi! Look it's sooo pretty." Lilac eyes were wide in awe, just looking out into space. While she'd been to her own planet, that was Kepler. This was the moon.

Guardian Cat Yumi

"Yes, it's lovely, isn't it?" Yumi sighed happily. The moon was always one of her favorite spots. "But you're being rude to the host, Kepler! Where are your manners?" The cat snickered and made her way over to Pendour, looking up with big blue eyes.

"Hello! Lovely to see you. I'm Yumi, and this is Kepler. Forgive her, it's been a while since she's had proper interactions." Yumi was definitely ignoring the pout Kepler had now.

Transcendent Squire Pendour

At the sound of others arriving, Pendour set down her teacup on a crumbling column and turned around. It took a second for the smile to hit her face, since she hadn't thought about what would happen if she was stuck in space with a couple of strangers
, about what she would say, but it turned out she didn't have to worry about it at all, because it was two familiar faces coming towards her.

"Sumner! Voyager! Hi," she said, the smile coming now as she stepped forwards and waved at them. "Welcome! I've got the tea station all set up over here, but if you've got snacks we'll have to start spreading out to another bench, maybe." That was directed to the third knight that came up, too.

This one was, in fact, a stranger, but it turned out that she wasn't scary at all. Pendour's eye lingered for a few long seconds on the glowing markings, the soft smile widening until it was more of a grin. "It's nice to meet you, Bifrost. Um, really. I don't think I've ever met another knight before that glows like this." She held up a hand to show off the glowing dots on the back of it. "Not even me until a few weeks ago. Just the senshi."

And now there were two of them! Pendour would have asked many, many questions if she didn't have a tea party to host.

Which meant looking down at a Mauvian. Oh.

It was seeing the tiny cat that made the Squire almost stiffen, and she had to take a small breath and remind herself that she hadn't ended up on the wrong side of all Mauvians.

Just all but one of them.

"Hi, Yumi. Hi, Kepler," she managed. Manners. She could do that, maybe. "Welcome to you, too. You can help yourself to the tea, or the freebies."

Super Sailor Cybele

This was awkward.

She'd been wanting, since she purified, to make all the friends and connections that she could. She'd already had the little pearl charm, too, attached to her phone from something. Maybe she'd even been to the moon before.

In any case, she was more than willing to go to space and meet more people. That was what she'd thought about when reading the invitation. The name scrawled at the bottom had just been an afterthought.

At least, until she'd seen the host and realized that she was Alya's friend, that knight she'd been about to starseed back when she'd been desperate to prove herself to the Negaverse.

There were others surrounding her, perhaps wanting tea, and Cybele was happy for that, hoping that maybe she could escape immediate notice. Instead, she stepped towards the other bench and gave one of the small animal toys an experimental poke with her pinky.

Princess Ganymede

Upon arriving, Ganymede took a few moments to stare into the stars.

The moon was not as comfortable a place to her as it should have been. True, it was relatively secure; they could gather and mingle without any concern for the sort of attention their auras might draw. Even so, it always seemed haunting to her, like there were ghosts lingering around every corner, memories just out of reach. The Moon Queen seemed like a constant spectre, even dead and gone as she was.

You are safe now, she told them, many years ago when the moon first offered them sanctuary.

Ganymede could never quite make herself believe it.

Now, with so much weighing on her mind, Ganymede looked to the stars, and to Earth, desperate to ignore an almost overwhelming sense of dread.

She had not been to the moon in years, not since they invaded the Dark Kingdom. The last time she was here, she was lucky to be alive; she’d intended to die that day — welcomed it, almost, if it meant her allies could escape. Ganymede almost expected to see Cosmos again, now, and was both relieved and vaguely irritated by her absence.

Emotions were often complicated things.

When she received the invitation, Ganymede considered not attending. She couldn’t quite convince herself that she wouldn’t be imposing. In the end, anxiety compelled her — that growing sense that something was wrong, something was lurking.

So it was that she made her way to the moon and felt almost camouflaged by her surroundings, taking a moment to stretch her large, silvery-white wings.

It’d been years since Ganymede had seen many of her old allies. She needed to know who remained.

Squire Agrippa

Agrippa needed to hitch a ride, but she did, inevitably did make it to the moon. The moon. To be totally honest she had thought that the invitation she found was a prank. Or a metaphor. Perhaps someone wanted to meet somewhere called "The Moon" even. She never would have ever guessed, in a million years, that she would actually be called to a tea party on the literal moon.

But here she was, staring up at a gleaming crystal palace. It reached with delicate spires up to the stars and beyond, glittering like a jewel. The knight beside her appeared unfazed by the splendor and miracle of where they were and patted her swiftly on the back before heading off to join some of her friends. Agrippa, however, held her place, starting up, slack-jawed, at the castled and the gathered magical people around her. A week ago she was Bella Emmanuella. Today she was Squire Agrippa. She clasped the delicate little decanter in her gloved hands and took a deep breath to center herself.

This was real.

She was real.

And she was really here, on the moon, with other people like her.

When she was finally able to tear her eyes from the castle and take a good look around her, Agrippa slowly began a headcount. Not many had shown up yet, and those that had seemed to have already gathered in small pockets and pairs.

All except one.

A bride, she seemed, with wings. She didn't know much, but she knew this woman was different. With her golden ringlets and her crystal shoes, it was not hard for Agrippa to draw the conclusion that this must have been the being who dwelled within these palace walls. She almost shattered her own "weapon" in her hands as she realized the connection. Almost too swiftly, with clearly feined serenity, she hurried over to the woman's side.

"Hello, um, ma'am." That seemed too informal, and she chided herself inwardly. "I know that you're not Pendour," she all but gushed, "but thank you for opening your home for this gathering. It truly is a stunning place." She glanced back at the crystal palace, her face splitting back into a wide grin.

Page Lourdes

Lourdes had, understandably, taken the last year off of powered work. It had been a bit of an adjustment, learning that she no longer had to look over her shoulder for someone to "check-up" on her. She also had to learn to stop waiting for the negaverse to find her and drag her back where she came from. But eventually, she was able to sleep through the night and get through the day without having to hide somewhere.

There were, however, things that she was still not used to. Like not having a single memory of herself before Cosmos came and saved her. And Amelia, the little corgi, who was still as wary of her and she was of the dog. They were getting friendlier by the day, but Lourdes suspected that they would never be as close as they must have once been. And how could they? As far as Amelia knew her mom had just up and left her with a stranger. It had broken her heart how Amelia had whined and howled the first week, clawing at the door to get out and find Abbot. But Abbot was gone, like the memories Lourdes had of her.

And she would never be used to passing her own tombstone, nor seeing the woman she knew abstractly was her mother mourning around town for a daughter who still technically lived.

She powered up, honestly, to escape. She had no one in her powered life that she would call a friend. She had connections, those who helped her adjust and got her what she needed, but no one she could really rely on. And so, when she found this invitation, she figured it would be a decent time to make those connections. Make friends, whatever that meant anymore. Set down roots as Roxanna Wilcox and start to leave Abbot Niles behind.

But when she arrived people were already starting to pair off and peel away. she ignored the gleaming castle and the splendor it implied and instead searched for someone as alone as she was.

She found her, eventually, tentatively poking a bench as though she thought it might vanish.

"Do people ever get used to this," she asked gently, twirling her weapon gently in her hand as she spoke.

Squire Imbrium

Imbrium had never been to the moon. Then again, the Squire of Castor had only ever been off of the planet Earth the bare minimum of times that her ‘job’ required. Yes, that was including that time that the Code had kidnapped her to go fight a skeleton, and when she had gone with Lacedaemon to go get her ring from Imbrium, and … well. The other times she had needed to go Do Knight Stuff. So it wasn’t that embarrassing that she had needed to hitch a ride, though it was a little bit annoying how cheerfully and obliviously CHIRPY the senshi who gave her the ride was. So…. So bubbly.

Then again, Pythia was on her way to attend a tea party. But what was she to say? Imbrium might be a stodgy and rotten little RAT sometimes, but she LOVED a good party. Gossip? Socializing? Meeting new people and making connections so that maybe THEY could do the fighting part for her in the future? Count her in! The fact that there was no mention of hors d'oeuvres in the invite concerned her some, but she was certain that no one would try and have a TEA PARTY without some kind of little cakes. THAT would be sacrilege of the highest order.

Staring at the benches and the tea, Imbrium realized that this Pendour might be a sweetheart, but WHERE were the mini-cakes??? No food in sight, and yes, this was a tea party, but you NEVER had a party without FOOD. It was a relief when she turned around to see another figure, glowing, setting out some snacks. Bless. She had been about to suggest that they have an actual Order-side party planner, and that would have just been rude- not that being rude was anything Pythia (or Imbrium) was unfamiliar with, or afraid to be, or-

Was she babbling? Mentally babbling right now? Taking a deep breath, the redhead reached out to snag a cup of chamomile and a blank page for coloring, along with one of the squishy toys. “Thank you to whichever of you is Pendour,” she called out, “Squishy pigs, tea and sweets, and coloring pages harken back to easier times, when I was around five or six and didn’t have to worry about someone coming to eat my face off when I was on my way from my apartment to the convenience store.” If she was a civilian she would have to worry about it a lot more than she did as Imbrium.

And the shoplifting was great when you were wearing a MagicSuit. College bookstore trying to charge you five bucks for a pack of paper you could have gotten at a better store if you had the ability to get there that wouldn’t cost you an hour on public transportation? Just pick it up, throw down about two bucks for it, and then wander out. (If the Negaverse had said the first thing they would do was get rid of capitalism, she might have signed up. Now, she knew better.)

But… that really wasn’t relevant to the matter at hand. Which was partying. On the moon. With tea. And an amazing view… Selecting a few crayons and watercolors, Imbrium wandered over to take a seat staring out over the Earth below, and started her picture by tracing her Powered Name- Imbrium- as an artist signature in white. Perhaps she should give the picture to the host? Then again, a watercolor signed IMBRIUM probably wouldn’t be the best thing for a civilian to have. But Pendour could leave it on the moon, or… put it in their Wonder?

Once she’d finished it, she supposed it wouldn’t be her business.

      Quote:

Chibi Super Charybdis

When Charybdis had found herself in receipt of an invitation to a TEA PARTY, on the MOON, the first thing she had done was run to her older sister, waving it wildly. “I need a DRESS,” she informed the older woman dramatically, “It needs to be PERFECT.” After some discussion about the can’s and cant’s of wearing fancy dresses to tea parties ON THE MOON, the blonde had set herself to the task of making sure that she would at least have a fancy tea party hat. Because Google said that back in the day, people had tea parties in the garden, and they wore fancy hats; and since the moon was in space, and would probably see the SUN, then the attendees of the tea party would need HATS. Because sunburn would probably be awful in space.

On the day of the tea party, Chibi Charybdis had a small pile of things that she needed to transport with her. After all- she couldn’t be the only one at the party wearing a large, elegant tea party hat. And one didn’t attend a party without a host gift, did they? So there was a host(ess) gift in the pile as well, elegantly wrapped in colors that would hopefully be appropriate. Research had, after all, uncovered Pendour as a Neptune knight, so she had picked gift colors appropriate for that theme. And, more important than any of her other preparations, Charybdis had made sure to download the Moon Pearl App on to her senshi phone so that she wouldn’t need to hitch a ride with anyone, too. Always be prepared!

Charybdis arrived with a literal CLATTER as packages that she had gotten assistance in carefully stacking in her arms fell over. She hadn’t even shifted her weight yet! Boxes scattered across the moon palace floor, hats with massive feathers and little gemstones and wide brims and little charms twinkling their way out of the boxes. Hats with veils, and hats with fake flowers (so that people with allergies wouldn’t be affected by REAL flowers, and all) and big hats, and little hats… and the shatter of glass, as one of the packages that Giulia had wrapped ever-so-carefully for the host(ess) of the party, and the owner of the moon (or whoever lived in the palace), smashed to the floor along with the toppled boxes.

Not to mention the sunscreen she had brought, just in case, because did the moon have an Ozone layer to protect people’s skin? No. But there the bottles of sunscreen went, skittering across the floor as if they were on little legs.

But Giulia didn’t cry. She was 11 now. Instead she bit her lip, eyes watering with dismay, before she shoved the emotion down and moved to set the surviving boxes on a bench near the food. “I brought hats," the Chibi announced to all and sundry, "Because, you know, a good tea party needs a good hat.” And good tea, but hats were important. And she could almost guarantee that on the list of things Pendour would have been busy with, providing hats and sunscreen probably weren’t at the top of the list.

She began to gather up the hats, dusting them off and setting them out for people to peruse and take at their leisure. Hopefully, she had brought enough. And, of course, the host(ess) gifts and the like were set aside for delivery. Voyager and Bifrost were there, and... that was it, for people she knew. Time to make some friends- just as soon as the hats were finished being set up.

      Quote:
      OPEN to anyone.

Also, HATS. FEEL FREE TO PICK YOUR OWN HAT AS A PARTY FAVOR FROM CHARYBDIS. I put some examples of the kinds of ridiculous tea party hats Giulia might have picked to bring in the spoilers.

Transcended Eternal Scylla

A stress-relief tea party on the moon was a FANTASTIC idea, and Scylla was quite impressed with the person who had thought of throwing such an event. Hopefully it would be well-attended! Parties were great places to network, meet new allies, catch up with old ones, and of course… relieve some stress. So while the senshi of the Kraken didn’t go off the deep end (unlike her half-sister) she did buy a gift card to an online tea shop for the host or hostess- she couldn’t remember having met Pendour, and so this would do well enough. Tea, coloring pages, and calming magic weren’t exactly cheap for most people, and the thought behind this event came across as very kind. She had thought about trying to do something similar at the beach on her own homeworld, but as Scylla was the only one who could ferry people to Scylla… Well. The moon was a much easier, more centralized location.

It was only her second or third visit to the place, and she had forgotten just how large it was. The dark haired senshi had not forgotten about the library that was there, however, and had made sure to come carrying the large golden book she had gotten from Celsus ages ago, and some pens. The things Almadel had told her about the Surrounding still bothered her, so she intended to go and take a peek in the library afterwards. Maybe take some notes. SOME of those books had to have pictures, or maybe Caedus could read alien, since he was an alien, and all. And maybe she’d get lucky and some of the books would be in modern-day English or something. Though she doubted it. The odds were NOT likely to be in Scylla’s favor in that regard. Still- live in hope, right?

As she leaned in and lifted up a sweetly scented cup of tea, Scylla observed the people present at the (so far small) gathering. She recognized Voyager, and there were a few other Transcended people there- that looked like Encke, and Bifrost- and Cybele! After a brief moment Scylla recognized Ganymede as well, though it had been quite some time since she had seen the other senshi, apart from a battle where they hadn’t interacted. Most of the others who were currently present would be new connections, and that was a good thing! Still, she would start with an “old” one.

Cybele!” the senshi of the Kraken chirped, making her way over to the other senshi and reaching out to snag one of the squishy little stress toys. “I’m so glad to see you here! I have to find Pendour, and I want to meet some of the people I haven’t yet. Do you know anyone here yet? I can introduce you to precisely four people. Maybe five, if I’m not wrong about a name. I may try and sneaky-scan some people into my phone just to be sure.” Last time she had seen the senshi of the hunt, she had been a bit awkward about being newly purified.

Scylla wasn’t going to leave someone to hang out on the wall when there were connections and relationships to form, and keep the side of Order all the more enticing with friends.

It was then that she realized there was someone else nearby, and sheepishly waved a manicured hand at Lourdes. “Hi, sorry. I’m Scylla. I got a little excited to see Cybele- I hope I didn’t interrupt too badly.”

Super Athalia & Namielle

"Tea and colouring pages?" he hadn't meant it to come out as a drawl but it was safe to say that he had certainly mastered the long suffering tone as he brandished the adorable little invitation in front of the Mauvian. The last time he'd been up here, or rather the last several times he had been up here, had been for entirely different reasons and the prospect of having tea hadn't never been very far up his list of priorities.

Nevertheless Namielle had been absolutely clear on this particular subject and when Namielle was set on one particular thing it was a touch difficult to dissuade her. Woe betide anyone who chose to ignore the Mauvian as well as it was almost a guarantee that she would hunt them down and make them submit. Her methods were of course a closely guarded secret and on this occasion they had not been deployed... Athalia knew better, particularly when he was tired and had only just finished his normal shift for the day.

Yep, the poor man had just gotten off work and been hauled to the moon.

...By a cat.

The same cat who was absolutely determined to drink so tea, somehow colour in pages with her paws, and socialise. It hadn't yet crossed his weary mind that she could in fact transform for a brief period of time each day to possess fingers, but it would probably dawn on him eventually.

"Yes, I think it will be absolutely darling," Namielle wrinkled her nose at his tone and began to pad towards the pillars, taking note of more than a few faces. She recognised a small handful but the vast majority were definitely new to her and provided plenty of opportunities for this Mauvian to make a name for herself and present each with the opportunity to make use of her services should they ever require her creative tinkering.

Athalia on the other hand followed at a much slower pace behind her, foot steps otherwise muffled and soft against the dust covered landscape. Should it really have come at any surprise to him that it had been Pendour that had arranged this event, from what little he knew of the peaceful woman it seemed to very much suit her personal preferences... He on the other hand, was not easily persuaded by colouring pages. Now if she had invited him to solve puzzles? Very different story; he would have been invested in puzzles.

He hadn't taken it upon himself to survey each of the visitors too closely yet, but when he did eventually pay attention he might be in for a surprise or two...

[He is open to interactions, just give him a some time to wake up and be less bleary eyed. <3 ]

Super Sailor Cybele

Cybele picked up one of the little squishy animals, a panda, wondering if it would truly relieve her stress somehow. She smashed its head between her thumb and her pointer finger, but when it bounced back and she saw its big round eyes again, all she felt was vaguely cruel.

Smashing youma was much more satisfying.

The giant, bright feeling of Ganymede's Princess aura was at least something of a stress relief, if only because she thought she cold likely go duck behind her sister's wings or something if the hostess or others had unpleasant reactions to her past. She didn't head in that direction quite yet, though, as she was here to try to make some positive connections.

Perhaps with the woman in a beautiful dress who had just come up to her, also looking a bit overwhelmed with the whole situation."I would think so?" she answered after a moment, offering a polite smile, "Although I'm not really the one to ask. There's a lot of things I still don't know, or don't remember."

Scylla came over, then, breaking through the moment of slight awkwardness, and Cybele's smile went brighter. "Oh, hello, Scylla! It's nice to see you. "

She glanced around at the new arrivals, trying to see if there was anyone she did happen to know, but other than the briefest flash of familiarity, she came up blank. "I know the Princess, Ganymede. She's actually the sister I was telling you about."

It was probably somewhat obvious that they weren't biologically related, but Cybele just smiled, not adding any qualifiers to that relationship. "She's into shopping and space. You'd love her. Pendour is over there, in the mermaid dress, but-" she trailed off for a hesitant moment, eyes flicking to the Venus knight, but it wasn't like she could keep her purification a secret.

"I may have tried to take her starseed last time we met? I'm not sure if I should go over there." Her smile flickered and she gave a small sigh. "I don't know anyone else."

Or don't remember...

Lourdes opened her mouth to question further but was cut off by another senshi who came over to them. She looked slightly younger than Lourdes, but she felt more powerful. It was still so odd to her, to feel a stronger presence and not feel a pang of fear or defiance. Instead, it was... well neutral at best. Like a note that she ticked in her mind. Oh, this is a person that I can go to for help. Someone that I can rely on in battle and for information. Not a superior, but rather... a mentor.

Lourdes offered an equally reserved wave in response but kept her mouth shut. Wordlessly, she followed the first senshi's pointing and tried to commit names to faces. Scylla was the Senshi who had come to see them. Dark hair and strange markings that she would ask after later. Scylla had named the first senshi Lourdes met as Cybele. Then the princess in bridal white was Ganymede. Yes, princess seemed about right as a title. Lourdes made a note to connect with her later. Call it latent negaverse training, but she knew it would be valuable to at least be in the good graces of white moon royalty. And then Pendour, whom Lourdes would greet later.

Until Cybele said something about taking starseeds.

Lourdes spun on her wickedly tall heels, dropping her staff in the process with a startling clatter. It made her jump and then blush at her blunder, but she recovered by dismissing the weapon and lowering her voice as she spoke.

"Starseeds? You mean you..." No. No that was too graceless. You can't just ask people if they are purified. That wasn't how things were done. She wasn't the anvil she was before. She needed to be someone worthy of the second chance she'd been given. Better to introduce herself first, as an invitation to converse about a topic Cybele clearly felt was taboo.

"I'm terribly sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Squire Lourdes, of Venus. formerly..." Her voice failed then, and Lourdes was suddenly painfully aware that this would be the first time she was admitting, out loud, who she used to be.

"Formerly," she continued, feigning confidence, "Lieutenant Hopeite."

Basiluzzo, Page of Uranus

He turned slowly in place, eyes locked upwards as he tried to take it all in. He hadn't been to the moon before. He'd often looked up at the full moon when on his late evening or night-time runs. So Basiluzzo was having a hard time reconciling the notion that he was, himself, up there. Even as he vaguely registered Encke talking to him--responding with a clearly distracted grin with eyes still locked overhead--Basiluzzo pivoted on one heel to look around.

It did briefly occur to him to question how they could be on the moon. There was no life support up there that NASA or whoever else knew of--or, at least, was telling anyone about--so this had to be all original, and the fact that enough of the settlement on the moon had survived to be used again--

Was that what was happening? Basiluzzo would have to ask Encke for a history refresher later on what all had happened before Basiluzzo had awakened--

He knew some of it from the stories Encke had told him, but--

He was on the literal actual moon!

"So what now?" Basiluzzo's eyes were wide when he turned them back to Encke.

Transcendent Eternal Encke

Encke accepted the fact that Basiluzzo's attention wasn't entirely on him. Honestly, he couldn't blame him. If he hadn't been in such shock when they had been brought onto the moon by Cosmos, Encke probably would have been in a similar state. (Had he been in a similar state, anyway? That day was such a quite literally chaotic blur at this point that he hardly remembered such specific details--)

"I mean, for one, we get to enjoy being on the moon. In peace. Chaos can't get us here." At least, so far as he knew. That made his heart jump into his throat for a moment, but he swallowed it down before he thought any further on it. Cosmos had brought them there all those years ago for a reason.

It was safe.

Their safety, just like their homeworlds in space.

And it would be safe now.

"Pendour," he motioned to where the Neptunian transcended squire--transcended!--was standing in a small circle of people -- best leave her to that for now, "invited us all out here. Said she had some tea, some coloring pages, some watercolors, some stress relievers --," he overheard someone at a distance, turned his attention back to his husband, "think that chibi just brought in a bunch of hats."

Seemed an appropriate summary.

"Want to get some tea, spend some time staring at the stars? Maybe the sky's clear enough we can get a view of Uranus from here. Or we could color. Maybe get a funny hat?"

Without waiting for an answer, Encke was already headed for the selection of tea.

Princess Ganymede

Ganymede did not expect to be confronted so quickly, at least not by an unfamiliar face. She turned, ready to offer a greeting, only to freeze when two things happened in quick succession.

The first was that her gaze settled on the woman’s outfit, specifically the symbols that decorated it.

The second was that the woman, perhaps new and confused, seemed to mistake her for the Moon Queen.

Any immediate sense of welcome she might have felt toward a knight of Ganymede evaporated, caught somewhere between amusement and a complicated mix of aggravation and disapproval. She might occasionally joke about being the Moon Queen, particularly when Laurelite came into the equation, but that didn’t mean she wanted to be mistaken for her by her own allies.

In the space of a few moments, Ganymede was able to talk herself down from an indignant rant, told herself the woman was likely a recent awakening and it was an easy mistake to make anyway. Anyone who hadn’t seen the Moon Queen, who didn’t know the full history of the war, might see someone in a white dress with large wings on the moon and come to a similar conclusion.

Maybe…

Ganymede offered a smile and a quiet laugh, and said, “I think you’ve confused me for someone else. My home is on Earth, although an argument could be made for Ganymede.”

She eyed the woman’s necklace, and the symbol suspended there. “It seems we share a symbol. My name is Ganymede, but… I’m not sure I know yours.”
