Arrival to the new town had taken too long and with the wagon jostling all around Sarnai didn't get much sleep. Despite Inaza telling her she would need the rest she just couldn't seem to get much. So when they made it to their destination she got out to stretch her legs and look around. It wasn't like it was her first time there. Inaza made them travel around all the time. Usually they stayed in one spot for about a month before moving on, and that was if there was good money to be made. Otherwise it was a shorter time.
A large yawn forced its way out of her and she had to shut her eyes to accommodate it. Tears welled up on the corners of her eyes and when she opened them again her vision was a little blurry. Her right hand moved up to scratch at the back of her head, making her bed head even worse. The poor attempt at a pony tail pulled off to the side just looked like it'd been in her hair for more than a day.
She gave a wave to Inaza and briefly told him she was going to go find something to eat and drink in town, then moved on. The man might be her guardian but he didn't have the fatherly love most would expect. He only cared that she was back in time for work and that she actually could work, other than that she had free reign.
Sarnai looked around as she walked lazily. Occasionally she would lick her lips, trying to figure out what it was she was in the mood for.

Like usual, Vilasini was a bundle of chaotic energy. The teen had bounced between several market stalls, her arms full of today's wares that she had mostly gathered from within the deeper forest, and she wasted no breath in negotiating her prices for the materials she traded to the merchants. Rek was out for a couple of days and she was going to do her best to surprise him with something nice once she got enough from the markets for her hard work! Once the merchants were finished with her the girl found herself almost too bored as she bounced about with her satchel, full of smaller pouches, swaying at her side. Pretty good haul today buuut the day isn't over yet! Her grin only spread wider whenever she noticed a Shifter that she hadn't seen in the area before.
Target locked! Vilasini rushed into action as she walked up to the stranger and started walking alongside of her. "Oh hey there. Looks like you could use some good herbal tea or something. Long travels? Need some energy and a good tastin' drink at the same time?" She wasted no time as she studied the other girl. "Cause if so the name is Sini and I'll gladly help you pick something out from the herbal remedies I happen to carry."

Despite her being a tired mess she was aware of when someone looked at her and decided it was a good idea to approach her. Sarnai didn't seem to care overly much, only sparing the girl a glance, and kept walking. When the girl spoke it seemed like she was trying to sell her something. A vendor then? As the girl introduced herself and said that she had some herbal remedies the shifter stopped walking so that she could face Sini properly. "Oh? Do you have that uh.. what's it called.." Her hands moved in front of her with vague motions as she tried to think. "Crushed up roasted beans with hot water.. Hot bean water.. sweetened.." There was a name for it she was sure. Why it eluded her at the moment she wasn't sure. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that she was too tired to really think right. "I like that drink and it helps keep me awake." Which she really needed. The shifter yawned again, mindful to cover her mouth this time since she had company with her.

Yes! Sini's grin brightened as the Shifter stopped walking. Did this mean she had her attention? Was a sale about to occur? Excitement made her bounce back and forth on the balls of her feet as she waited for the decision. Eventually when the words came the girl found her expression falling. "Ah, Kilfee?" She mused as she used the local word for the hot drink, that she probably shouldn't drink according to Rek because she was energetic enough anyways but that she may or may not still did drink on occasion, and for a moment her expression did fall because she didn't have anymore of those beans on her today. Still, Sini could only purse her lips thoughtfully before letting out a sigh of resignation. "So I could sell you some darker teas to help perk you up, but if you really want some hot bean water I know where we can go." She couldn't help teasing slightly about the girl's description.
"Just come this way! There's a bar that sells it near the markets and I'm certain they have plenty of things to sweeten up the bitter brew." Some milk and honey would do fine for her or maybe even something with just those pure sugary blocks of amber crystals she loved so much. At least Piatyr owed her since she had brought him a huge bag full of beans just earlier today! Sini waved the girl along before skipping ahead without waiting to see if she would actually follow or not.

As soon as the hybrid girl said the local name for the drink Sarnai snapped her fingers and pointed at her with a tired smile. "That's is. Kilfee." The shifter let her eyes close as she stood there for a second, still fighting off the tiredness she felt in her very bones. When the girl continued to speak and even teased her for the name she'd used to describe the drink, Sarnai opened her eyes again, this time to raise a brow at the girl. "Yes. I would like some hot bean water." While she mimicked the teasing tone she also wore a slightly smug smile. But the girl had offered to show her the way and so she motioned for Sini to lead on. "After you, oh knowledgeable one." After speaking she glanced around to see where exactly they were at and kept a mental note on where the girl led her.

Rather than being offended, Sini just found herself giggling at the response. "Hopefully it's good hot bean water." She replied with a playful wink before leading the way, her amusement growing even with the response. "Gladly, oh nameless one!" The hybrid darted around the marketplace like it was her second home, her movements only slowed as she waved greetings at several vendors who could only shake their heads at her playful antics and teasing commentary. Watch out for that one, Buya! I think he's got eyes for ya! She even stopped to give some tea to an elderly Shifter who gave her some crystals in return, an arrangement they had for a while now since Sini enjoyed shiny gems to decorate her bedroom with, but eventually they arrived at a large tree that twisted upwards.
"It's on the upper level." Sini advised before glancing back towards her companion and reaching out to grab the rope ladder she preferred to the winding stairs that reached around the tree. A few quick movements had her easily gliding up the ropes, her acrobatic nature showing easily enough, and it was when she was on the upper level where one could smell the heavy smell of Kilfee and fresh bread coming from an entry way that she finally slowed down so that the Shifter could catch up with her.

She hoped it was good too. There was nothing worse than expecting a good cup of bean water only for it to suck and be stuck drinking it anyways. When it was mentioned that she was the 'nameless one' Sarnai realized she hadn't given her name even though the girl before her had been polite enough to introduce herself. So the shifter gave a small snort of laughter as she shook her head. "Sorry about that, I'm Sarnai." Still she followed along behind the other so that she could obtain a decent drink. When it was mentioned that the Kilfee was on the upper level she looked up. A brow arched slightly as she thought about the area. She opened her mouth to say she would follow but then she saw Sini doing something unexpected. The girl was using ropes like a practiced climber to get up to where they needed to be. Sarnai closed her mouth and simply watched as her head tilted ever so slightly to the side. "Show off." The shifter finally muttered before she headed for the stairs. She was just as capable of using the ropes but she knew that would let others see what she was capable of. It was better when people underestimated her because then she got away easier when she shocked them. So as she made her way up the steps she kept her attention divided between where she was going so she didn't run into anyone and Sini to see where she was and how well she was doing.

A grin crossed Sini's lips as she accepted the apology. "No worries, Sarnai!" She happily chirped before waiting for her new companion to join her on the upper level. If anything she was simply full of energy and perhaps one should be afraid of what drinking Kilfee may do for her. Either way Sini was happy to share the experience at her favorite shop and once Sarnai came into view she waved her over. "This way!"
Peeking into a doorway, Sini brushed wooden beads aside and leaned into a large round room that had been cut out in the tree. Curved windows with tables nested next to them looked cozy with small lanterns hanging up around the walls, the metallic strings holding them gleaming as pockets of sunlight sneaked through the trees and into the café. Other than the scattered tables there was a long, curved wooden counter with some pastries on trays and a shelf of mugs and bags of beans that filled the whole back wall. Standing behind the counter was a large shifter man who glanced up as Sini whistled, an amused smile crossing his lips. "Coming back so soon?" He teased as he waved towards the teen.
"Obviously. I simply cannot keep myself away." Joked Sini with a wink before gesturing behind her. "I met a friend who wanted a good strong cup of Keflee. Think you can provide, Jier?" She asked with a smirk before moving to the side so that Sarnai could join her. Already the strong smell of keflee was in the air along with the hint of freshly baked pastries as some other patrons already enjoyed their morning snack around a few of the tables, a couple even giving Sini a nod of greeting in return as she glanced about the room.

When they both eventually reached their destination Sarnai watched Sini. She didn't seem to show any exhaustion from the little stunt she pulled. So instantly she was thinking of all the professions that could give the girl that kind of strength and stamina. A performer perhaps? Acrobatics? Or maybe it was just a hobby? Either way she was impressed that someone else could do such a thing. Not many 'normal' people would be able to pull that off. She heard her guide talk to someone about getting a cup of hot bean water and her thoughts were derailed. At the promise of being bale to have a good, strong cup she was distracted. Sarnai needed that warmth and energy to run through her after the long journey she'd had. But the girl didn't talk to the other person, instead she came up beside Sini and only offered a smile in greeting. It wasn't much but it was enough. To the girl she turned and gave a small nod. "Thank you for showing me the place." Now she just hoped it was as good as it sounded.
