Lilith couldn't help but enjoy getting out and bouncing from rooftop to rooftop. It was freeing, in a way; there were no expectations on her, and no reasons for her to do anything but have a good time. Yeah, she was a Senshi fighting in a possible forever war that no one knew about, but that was details.
Mostly, it was all just fun. Sure, the mission into the Rift had been dangerous, but they'd all made it out alive and not at all worse for the wear. So there, it was all good.
Besides, there was so much power in her hands. All she had to do was reach out and put her hands in a person's chest, and she could take their starseed.
And that was what she had decided to do. It had been an impulse; she'd been sitting on a pretty little half-wall around some garden or other and some dude on the other side of the street had decided to holler at her. Graphically and with intent. And there was, in Lilith's mind, no better way to shut him up. So she'd walted her way across, and shoved her hand in his chest, and now he was struggling and whimpering in fear and pain.
Beautiful.
"Shh," she said, to the struggling civilian. "I'd say 'next time, don't catcall girls,' but there won't be a next time."

Monoceros was stuck deep in thought as he patrolled the city this night. Thoughts swirled in his head like a tempest, some angry, some sad, some indignant. It was a shocking influx of feelings he was trying to settle, and he wished it would leave him alone for a better time. Like when he was trying to sleep or something. A normal time, instead of this. He was still a little hesitant to visit his world, wishing he could just make himself go. His fears still lurked in the back of his mind, not assuaged. The sensation of a nearby Chaos aura had his thoughts jerking to a stop, and he sprinted over, leaping down from the building he was on and superhero-landing next to the civilian and his assailant. "Hi. I don't suppose you want to let go of that seed and leave the guy alone," he said as casually as possible, realizing she was just a first stage senshi. He didn't want to need to attack her—he wouldn't pull his punches (too much), but it didn't feel good to seriously hurt someone weaker than you. Even if they had a hole in their head and chest. God, that was creepy as ******** and made him shiver. She looked so... so much like something from a horror movie.

Lilith didn't even look up. This Senshi was stronger than her, but she didn't particularly care. She could handle herself if it came down to it, she was pretty sure.
"I don't think I will, actually," she said, and then she yanked her hand out of the civilian's chest and let him drop. "See, I get real uncomfortable when random men make gross comments about my tits while I'm just trying to take a walk, and when I'm powered up? I can do something about it." She tossed the starseed up, and caught it.
"Why? You wanna defend this creep?"

Monoceros winced. No, he didn't particularly want to defend this creep. But murder was murder, regardless. "I don't," he said flatly, taking a fighting stance, "But I don't get to decide who lives and who dies. That ain't my job. He might be a creep, but there's a snowball's chance in hell I'll let you kill the guy." He was seriously considering leaving the guy with mysterious bruises, though. But he discarded the thought to shoot a Quill Flash right for the senshi's stomach. Noir Songbird Sailor Scout Attack: Quill Flash A burst of porcupine quills flies from Sailor Monoceros's hand, which can cause shallow scratches and/or minor puncture wounds. Any attempt to remove the quills before they vanish will cause sharp, pinpointed pain in the area; however, they don't sink in much deeper than skin-level. A user can choose to have this attack cause permanent damage or the injury will fade when the magic expires. This attack will last 20 seconds and can be used three times per battle.

"Ugh, Jesus, gross," Lilith wrinkled her nose. "You're the noble type, aren't you."
Not that she had much time to opine on his nonsense, because he was leaping to attack her, and she skipped backwards, but ti wasn't enough to completely avoid the quills that stuck into her skin.
"So, what, hedgehogs? Porcupines?" She asked, dryly. "Because I'm kelpies," she said, " which is a bad day for you. Kelpie's Lure." She leapt forward, feet becoming hoofbeats, and aimed to punch him--but any contact at all would do. Let him feel like he was drowning, and then she could take this starseed and go.Sailor Scout Attack: Kelpie's Lure! Lilith speaks the name of her attack and gestures at herself. She appears soaking wet and her footsteps sound like hoofbeats for the duration of the attack. For the next 30 seconds, anyone who makes any kind of direct physical contact with Lilith will feel, for the remaining duration of the attack, as if they are drowning. It is possible to struggle and as they are not actually drowning no real damage is done and it is impossible to actually die from it. Lilith can use this attack three times per battle.

"Yup!" he responded brightly to her question. Waaaay too cheery. But that was pretty much his M.O. by now. Youthful Spiderman levels of enthusiastically sarcastic responses. And he wouldn't have it any other way, really. As she got close enough, he crouched and let out Quill Burst, before toppling to his own side as she collided with him, clutching at his chest. Oh God. No. Can't breathe. Oh no no no. He felt like he was choking on so much water, gasping for breath and not getting it, lungs and mouth filled with the sensation of water. Noir Songbird Super Sailor Scout Attack: Quill Burst Sailor Monoceros leaps up to the bad guy, getting close, before letting loose a burst of quills from his entire body. (Allies beware!) The Burst is less aim-controlled than the Flash, but more intense. These quills will likely puncture more deeply from being close up and attempts to remove the quills before disappearance will cause a sharp, hot pain where the quill is pinned, and a more dull ache in the surrounding area, making the muscles more sore. A user can choose to have this attack cause permanent damage or the injury will fade when the magic expires. This attack will last about 30 seconds and can be used twice per battle.

Lilith shouldn't have taunted him. She shouldn't have gotten up close with a Senshi whose abilities she didn't know, because she was putting herself at pretty hefty risk of having a very bad time. Which was, in fact, exactly what happened.
The burst of quills made her cry out in pain as they dug into her skin, but at least he went down, too. <******** you," she said, as she staggered backwards, but she tossed the starseed at his feet, abandoning it. She wasn't going to get herself hurt worse just to have the satisfaction of ending some creepy ******** was, however, going to live another day, and so she started backing up.
She did pause and kick the pig in the side, though. At least she'd leave both of them with something to think about.

Monoceros coughed, flipping her off in return for her verbal "******** you" since his lungs, while technically filled with air, felt filled with magical water, and that was not very conducive to speaking. He watched as she flung the starseed down, then kicked the civilian in the side. He would've smiled a bit, if he'd not been too busy focusing on breathing more than anything. Soon enough, he was able to calm down and return the seed to the creep. As he'd already been kicked, Monoceros didn't feel inclined to injure the guy any further for acting a shithead, and walked away.
