[*] [i]Music--[/i] While claiming no great skill, Ellie can play the lyre and likes to write little melodies.

[*] [i]Yarn/Thread Crafts--[/i] Knit, crochet, embroider? Ellemir like some lady of old keeps her hands busy when she's not doing anything else that requires them. She makes many of the accessories she wears (hats, gloves, scarves, etc.) and a majority of her clothing has been hand embroidered, but for all that Ellie hates to sew seams even with a machine and doesn't make her own clothing outside of sweaters.

Beyond clothing, Ellie also does some cross stitch and needlepoint.

She'd honestly like to get a loom one of these days and try weaving and tapestry making.

[*] [i]Gardening--[/i] Granted living in an apartment this interest is a little curtailed, but Ellemir enjoys growing flowers and herbs and has several potted plants and window boxes.

Even with the most fantastic job done, she'll still say it could have been better or that it was nothing to be very proud of. She rarely believes that anything she does is good enough and worthy of any kind of praise.

She feels that her problems are her own and that others shouldn't be burdened with them. She is slow to talk about anything that bothers her and only cries when she thinks no one can see or hear her.

[size=11][b]Physical Description:[/b] Ellemir is 5'4" with long wavy silvery blonde hair with bangs parted in the middle. Her hair is pulled back on each side with combs. Her eyes are gray. She has a willowy build and an average chest size. She is of a paler complexion and carefully selects her clothing to not wash herself out too much or people will sometimes think she's sick or anemic.

[b]Personality:[/b] Pleasant and always quick with a smile, Ellemir is friendly and does her best to be pleasant to be around. Despite that she doesn't make friends easily or have any really close associates. She's just nice to everyone.

She's fairly intelligent and will always offer to help anyone who struggles in class, although she does have limits and isn't about to let anyone cheat off of her.

She's neat and fairly organized, everything in her apartment is stored and labeled so she can always find anything at a moments notice.

Underneath it all though, Ellemir is a deeply sad individual who does her best to hide the pain. She doesn't want to burden others with her problems and refuses to talk with anyone about them. From all the loss in her life she is afraid to let anyone get too close. People just leave you in the end after all.

[b]Back Story:[/b] Ellemir's was in a car accident with her parents when she was 10. Tragically the wreck took both of them from her and left her with damage to her memory so she hardly remembers her time with them. She can only assume they were happy from the few photographs she has.

She spent 6 months in the foster care system before they were able to track down her estranged paternal grandfather who reluctantly took custody of the girl. Ellemir only learned later that her grandfather had not approved of her father marrying her mother and they had had a falling out over it. The reasons why are still and will be forever a mystery to Ellie.

The two got along at least reasonably well and Ellemir felt if not completely loved at least accepted by her grandfather and she tried to make sure she wasn't a disappointment to him like the mother she couldn't remember anymore. Sadly the old man died a few months before she graduated high school. Luckily Ellemir was already 18 and was allowed to live in his house as long as she finished school. Once she graduated though, she felt she could no longer live in the house and sold it.

She now lives in a small apartment close to the college campus and while she doesn't need to work between what inheritance she got between her parents, grandfather and the sale of the house, she does anyway around going to school. Just more things to keep her occupied.
