Name: Aliseanne Laenuleil Nicknames: Alise by most normal people, Lissey by no one since kindergarten Pronouns: she/her Age: 17 Birthday: June 24
School: Our Lady of Destiny Finishing School for Girls
Hobbies:
Occult enthusiast (or, 'solo larping', in a way....) -- What started as perhaps just an overactive imagination and contraband comic books and video games snuck into the house behind her family's backs, turned into possible teenage rebellion, becoming the chuunibyou Alise is today. Originally starting as just a love of spooky scary things, including creepypasta and ghost stories, it has evolved over the years and taken on a life of its own, until it became an entire persona. From the ‘cool’ poses to the dramatic speeches and talk of things like rituals and curses, she has a habit of weirding out her classmates and making her mom’s friends… well, very uncomfortable. Even though this has gone on since childhood, her mother still hopes this is just a phase Alise will grow out of… eventually.
Consuming (and oversharing info) horror genre media -- Alise loves spooky things in general, and it's not just limited to the persona she's built up- it includes the types of media she consumes, as well. Her favorite types of movies are horror movies, and her favorite types of tv shows are the ones that explore things such as unsolved mysteries or have people investigating ghost sightings. She enjoys video games of the survival horror genre, such as the SCP games, as well as psychological horror games, such as Doki Doki Literature Club, and is always happy to share the details of whatever new SCP she learned about today, as well as sharing jumpscare compilation videos with her classmates. Oversharing? She doesn’t think so.
Collecting plush rabbits -- Originally started by (supposedly) well-meaning grandparents who took Alise's love of rabbits and ran with it, Alise has a rather large collection of plush rabbits, that take up a large portion of space in her room. When she was younger, she used to spend some of her allowance money to buy even more, swearing anyone who caught her to secrecy, and holding tea parties with them in private; now that she's older this has largely tapered off, and the tea parties have stopped. Still, every now and then Alise will find herself buying a plush rabbit or two that catches her eye, the more unusual-looking, the better, and gives them names and backstories. They're arranged in odd ways throughout her room, to where it might seem like they're staring at any visitors who enter her bedroom, and occasionally, they play audience to her strange 'rituals' that she finds online.
Pros:
my ancestors are smiling at me imperial, can you say the same?Fearless -- Alise is a fairly fearless person, who doesn't scare easily, if at all, and is the kind of person one might task with going ahead to scout for danger... provided she's not the one attracting it in the first place. It might just be bordering on plain foolishness, and honestly usually is, but she doesn't shy away easily when confronted with a problem. She considers herself the kind of individual who can be relied upon to bravely charge forth into battle and come out victorious, and won’t back down from a challenge, the kind of person who you can expect to save the day in your average horror video game without getting eaten by the monster (or turned into one), if you will.
(The jury is still out on whether this could be considered an admirable trait, given her persistently stubborn nature, but Alise insists that she’s stubborn in a good way, and no, she isn’t taking criticism at this time..)
you’re the challenge I’ve been seekingProactive -- Alise is very much a take-charge, proactive kind of person, who acts on her own without waiting to be told to do so. She's a leader-type, who prefers taking charge over following someone else, and isn't afraid to take control when the situation calls for it, or just in general. Why wait for someone else to step in, especially when this is a chance to prove herself? Alise may be just your 'average' teenager, but if something needs to be done, she feels she's the right person to come to for it, and one shouldn’t have to rely on an ‘adult’, of whom she tends to feel are fairly useless. (Alise may or may not have issues with authority figures.)
Cons:
the risk I took was calculated, but man am i bad at mathReckless -- Fueled by bravery, or just plain stupidity, Alise is very much a ‘leap first, maybe make up a plan on the fly later’ sort of person. She charges headfirst into danger without a second thought, eager to perhaps both prove herself as capable of handling things on her own, but probably more for the sake of showing off. It’s mostly dumb luck that’s kept her out of any major trouble thus far, but it has the side effect of making her feel untouchable, which further enables her reckless behavior. Eventually, it’ll catch up to her, but for the moment, Alise does what she wants and refuses to listen to any 'geezers' who try to tell her what to do.
i am NOT pretending to be some kind of character!Immature -- It’s not ‘just a phase’ mom! Ever since she was young, Alise has felt that she’s meant for some sort of higher purpose in life- and that her 'true awakening' is just around the corner, really! Her chuunibyou persona, together with her overall reckless nature, have combined to form the ultimate disaster child… not that she’s a child, really, whose chaotic personality tends to cause trouble wherever she goes. For all her insisting on wanting to be treated like a young adult, and not a small child, Alise is very good at acting childish and immature, like someone half her age, complete with the foot stomping and huffiness. Completely unladylike.
General Appearance
Alise stands at 5' short tall, and is really fairly average otherwise, though she's surprisingly atheletic. She has long pink hair that's slightly curly towards the ends, and purple eyes. Her choices in fashion lean towards the more eccentric, at least when she can get away with dressing how she wants, otherwise Alise often wears a lot of frilly girly things that her family buys for her and expects her to wear. Her 'casual' attire otherwise usually tend to be clothes easy to move around in, in shades of purples and greys, with the occasional pink thrown in.
She may or may not be secretly a fan of animal ear hoodies...
lepus ref would like for her uniform to look as close as possible to how it is in the AU, but with adjustments to make it fit the uniform standards here!

Attacks:
Sailor Scout Attack: Trickster Rabbit
Lepus tricks an opponent (or opponents-up to two) into feeling compelled to go chasing after what they believe to be a certain senshi of rabbits running away from them. Once they get close enough (3-5 feet, within reaching distance), 'Lepus' turns out to be a fake, an illusionary white rabbit that promptly poofs away. This cannot be used from a short range, the max range it can be cast from is 10 ft, and the attack relies on the opponent falling for the illusion; those less susceptible to being tricked will easily see through the illusion quicker than those who are more gullible. The attack is especially more effective if Lepus hides before casting it, but does not require it, since hiding isn’t always possible (or practical). It lasts for up to fifteen seconds, or one post, and she can use this up to three times.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Meddlesome Rabbits
Much like the first attack (and with the same caveats), Lepus tricks her opponents into chasing after a fake Lepus. This time, however, there's two of her- who go running into opposite directions; no matter which one her opponents choose to chase after, the two fake Lepus will ultimately meet back up with each other and merge into one Lepus, which then turns into a bunny that disappears, once her opponents get close enough, leaving her opponents confused and possibly disoriented. This lasts for twenty seconds, or one post, and can be used up to three times.
Eternal Sailor Attack: Troublesome Rabbit
With the power of magical ventriloquism (or something to that effect), Lepus tricks a single opponent into looking behind them, where she has created a decoy Lepus, tricking them into attacking the fake. After a few hits, or after thirty seconds have passed (if not attacked), the fake Lepus 'dissolves' into a bunch of bunnies, who swarm her target before disappearing, leaving her opponents temporarily too confused to take any action, while the real Lepus delivers a sneak attack from behind in the meantime. This can only be used once.
When and where were you awakened 1 year ago during summer break, while being generally up to no good. The poor cat didn't know what it was getting into by giving her a magic pen and powers....
What have you been doing for the past 1 years? Being Alise, honestly. Butting heads with her family, being a massive cringey edgelord, moreso now that she feels validated that her feelings about being meant for something more were right.
What stage would you like to start at? 2nd

Hello! Thank you so much for your interest in bringing Alise/Lepus into By Moonlight!
Civ side looks good!
Powered side -- name and sphere check out! A few small things on the attacks:
Basic - For duration we'd suggest 15 seconds or 1 post. Other things to consider -- is the attack more effective if Lepus herself hides first before casting it? Understanding that the attack cannot be used from a short range, what is the max distance she can cast it away from her? Our suggestion would be 10ft!
Super - Mostly the same suggestions as above, but slightly different. For duration we'd suggest 20 seconds for this one. This attack can also be used a max of 3 times since it will replace her basic attack at 2nd stage!
Let us know when you're ready to move on and we'll proceed from there!

CONGRATULATIONS SAILOR SOLDIER! Your character has been approved!
The Watchful Guardian provided Lepus with her henshin pen and communication device, filling her in on everything that had been going on up until that point -- which wasn't much, truth be told. Everything had been quiet overall, really... Strange. He said that he would keep in touch and tends to communicate via text message to check in/if there are updates! Stay tuned!
We would highly recommend setting up a [Powered Journal] to keep track of your role plays! Please also see the [Import Art Thread] for how to obtain your powered art.
We look forward to seeing you around Mayet!
**Please note, powered Role Play is unavailable at this time. Civilian roleplays are welcome but may not be used for growth requirements until after Powered RP is released in the shop**
