Do you have a favorite BC pet from another shop or an off site adoptable that you've been wanting as a Soq? Then this is your chance!
To enter these slots, you must have proof that you own the pet/character in question.
For BC pets, a certed image would provide proof of ownership.
For off site adoptables, a screenshot showing proof of a win or purchase will suffice. Be sure to provide as many images as possible for the best references. For Offsite/Non-Gaia Pets please be certain that you have permission/rights to re-custom the character.
Rules:
1. Any pets won in these slots will count as a free Soquili win for August.
2. This opening is for BC Pets/Off Site Adoptables conversions ONLY.
3. You can only enter if you own the pet/adoptable and can provide proof of ownership. The pet/adoptable must already exist in another BC or as an Adoptable. It cannot be just a quested pet or OC.
4. Twins will not be offered in these slots. This is for a single adult pet only.
5. You must use the header and post with a filled out semi-custom form to enter.
6. You may edit your post until close.
Q&A:
Q: If we have a different name on different sites, how would we prove it is us?
A: One way is to create a post/journal entry including your Gaia SN on the other site, and take a screenshot.
Q: What if I have changed usernames and it doesn't match the cert?
A: If you can provide a link to where you won the pet, or a cert post, that would suffice.
Q: Are these limited to just pets, or can humanoids be used as well?
A: As long as it's considered an adoptable, it can be used, so long as you have proof of ownership and how it was obtained/purchased.
Q: If I want a specific trait, but it can't be created with templates, and has to be edited, how can I be sure to get that edited trait?
A: If your character has traits that you would not want to risk being translated with shop templates, it might be best to choose a different character. Edits are not guaranteed, even by edited colorists.
Q: How do I get permission from off site pet shops?
A: Check their TOS to see what they allow in using their artwork offsite.
Q: Would we be able to have a B/C pet transferred with an updated design we were questing for? Can I use a quest image from another shop?
A: The semi-custom would need to be based on an existing version of the pet.
Q: Are we allowed to add extra uncert links or other versions of the pet?
A: Extra uncerts are fine, so long as it is the same character. You would need to pick a main one, and any extras or other versions (as in different species with vastly different traits) would only be used as extra reference for markings and colors, not traits
Q: What if I don't have an uncert?
A: Uncerts aren't required, but are appreciated as they give us a better quality image to reference.
Q: What if I have an uncert but no cert?
A: If you can provide proof of a win/ownership, then you can use that pet.
Q: How many pets am I allowed to enter for inspiration?
A: 1
Q: Do B/C pets you yourself were the colorist for and or collaborated on for count?
A: In that instance, as long as you own it and it was an actual pet in a shop and not a cyo plush (cyo pets are ok if the shop considered it a pet) or quest image
