Hyperborea walked along the poorly lit streets with a Caer Sidi at her side and her wisp floating above her. Hyperborea's heart was beating quicker as she patrolled the street with her new girlfriend. Hype was so happy to be with someone again it had put her in a positively radiant mood all day even through the many boring business meeting that plagued her civilian life. Hyperborea was chatting happily with Caer when she felt a familiar ping from her crown of stars. The aura of a very familiar transcended knight of Polaris.
"Delphi!" Hyperborea called out as she saw her old friend and team mate. She rushed forward sweeping the Russian woman up in a big friendly hug. "It's been too long mon amie! It's so good to see you again!" She said setting the woman down.
"Caer this is one of my oldest powered friends, Delphi, Transcended knight of Polaris." She said motioning for the page to come over. "Delphi this is Caer Sidi, Page of the Cosmos, my partner and girlfriend." She said her cheeks getting a little pink on the last part.

Delphi had been out patrolling, having just returned from a brief visit to her wonder. Her visits were typically longer, she enjoyed the cold of her wonder. It was enough to take ones breath away and somehow she loved it, that biting chill that filled her lungs and caused her to shiver upon arriving at her wonder. It fit the female knight in more ways than most could ever know.
She wasn't expecting to sense someone approaching much less hear her name shouted, not many knew her as she wasn't much for social gatherings. It really was no wonder that she was still single, though what might surprise some was that she did somewhat dislike this fact. A relationship, depending on the person whom it was with, wouldn't be something the chilly introvert would be against. But as she was picked up and held by the French knight she found herself smiling and even managing a bit of laughter.
"It is good to see you as well, it has been a long time." And she did wonder where the other had been, she'd wondered that on and off for a while really. She'd been swept up with work though, traveling for work, and lots of buisness deals. She'd been doing well for herself....enough that she didn't need to window shop so much, though she still didn't like spending money. She did manage to spend some, more than she liked, but it was mostly for work so it was justifiable...sort of.
Set on her feet she took the time to look over the introduced girlfriend and nodded her head once. "It is a pleasure to meet you. As Hyperborea said, I'm Delphi...a knight of Polaris." Though there were so few of them anymore...and with their princess missing...
She did hope she was ok, she worried for her. She was too kind and after he wedding and reception she had vanished. One reason she went so often to her wonder was not just because she needed to, though she did need to, it was in the hopes of sensing her princess. She was sure that even from the distant, snow covered, mountain which once upheld the laws of the planet she would surely feel her princess if she returned. She kept the lights on in the towers, kept the fountain flowing by her continued pressence and made sure hte place was warm. All in case her princess returned and needed a place. A beacon to let Polaris herself know that one of her knights was still around and had done something big for their wonder and the planet.
But nothing yet...not signs of her or anyone else. She was still alone in many ways and she was ok with most of it, it suited her fine. But sometimes it did hurt.Aurelius0815 Sorry on slowness, work and trying to get into a headspace for Delphi since it's been awhile. I needed to figure her out a bit. One of these days someone needs to melt her frosty heart.

Caer Sidi was excited to meet Delphi. She was, really; it was good to know other Knights, and this one was clearly a long-time friend of Hyperborea's. But she was derailed from wanting to say hello--which she did, she swore!!--by Hyperborea introducing her as her girlfriend.
Girlfriend!! It was new, and exciting, and not something that she was quite used to yet, so it took her a moment to recalibrate into being a human being who could communicate verbally with other human beings. At least Hype and Delphi talked to fill the silence she left, so she was only a little delayed in curtsying with her fancy half-skirt.
"A pleasure to meet you, too," she said, drawing on all the formal manners she'd learned over the years. "This is my first time meeting a Knight of Polaris." Not that she knew many Knights at all, but that was an extraneous detail. "It's always a delight to see Knights from other planets."

"I'm sorry it's been so long, I took over my family's company so that's been occupying alot of my thoughts. I haven't been super proactive with my powered duties." Hyperborea explained feeling bad that she hadn't thought to reach out to the other woman but it just hadn't crossed her preoccupied mind.
"Polaris is the princess of Magnetism." Hyperborea elaborated for Caer. "The planet is a gorgeous winter land." She turned back to the other transcended knight. "Anything new with your library" Hyperborea inquired curious to catch up with the older knight.
"We should patrol some time, the three of us." It was perhaps overkill to have 3 knights, 2 of which were full transcended knights, patrolling together but hey their power signatures together could alone act as a deterrent against Chaos

"Ah, I had wondered what you've been doing. Don't worry Hyperborea, I 've been busy with work as well." Though she didn't think she'd ever told her fellow knight what she had a degree in or what she did, much less the change in jobs. Though it was only a slight change really. It was still a big thing for her, it kept her fairly busy.
"If you need a wedding ring ever - let me know. That I can handle." She said after a moment, looking between the two ladies. "Sadly my princess hasn't been seen since her wedding, to a knight of Saturn. I haven't heard from her nor seen her on Polaris, though to be fair, I don't know iof she can reach my wonder. I've gotten lights working and the heat continues as well as running water. I keep the lights on so if she ever does find her way to my wonder she will have a place to go and be warm..." And she would know one of her knights was still around, was still powerful, and was impacting their homeworld in a positive way.
"The library itself remains dust free, as it should be, it was a nightmare to clean the first time. I'm certain that since there is a knight there and it's been awakened...the dust remains at bay." By magical means of some sort. But since she was transcended her wonder was visited often by her and so it kept itself strong and alive.
Looking over to Caer she shook her head. "There aren't many knights of Polaris, sadly. Our homeworld is a winter wonderland, as Hyperborea said, so if you see winter clothing you may be dealing with one of us. But I suspect you won't meet another of us." They were rare, sadly. Her princess would not be pleased, she liked having knights after all, and she was sure Polaris would love to return one day to find many of her knights thriving in the city. Sadly that wasn't the case.
"We can patrol tonight, as we're all out. But beyond tonight - yes. We should. I find myself patrolling less and on Polaris more." So to spend time here, patrolling, with others was a good idea for her.
