Research/Reading -- Rohan's more in his element when he's researching - this research can be for any purpose, really. It can be researching someone's identity... it can be researching a plan of action. Hell, it can be researching why the sky is blue instead of green. Also a good 'alone' activity, which he approves of. He also adores reading fiction - any sort of fiction! While he favors books (Lots and lots and lots of dusty old books - his place is positively drowning in them - why does he need so many anyhow? ), he occasionally uses computers; all the knowledge in the world in such a small machine! Now, with mobile phones being what they are, it's even easier to do this on the go, anywhere and everywhere - kindles are also absolutely amazing, as far as he's concerned.
Long Walks -- Walking helps him think. Or so he claims. Plus, it's yet another good 'alone' activity that he can engage in. It also keeps him healthy. What's not to like? It doesn't really matter to him WHERE he's walking or where TO, so long as he's alone with his thoughts. Of course, if someone tags along... there's not much to be done about it. This doesn't mean the person won't get glares every two or three minutes though, unless he particularly likes them. Less the hiking type, more the simple... promenade around the city, or alternatively, the coastline if it's available.
Listening to Music -- He finds most classical music to be relaxing, and can be seen listening to it on particularly stressful days, to unwind. He also has a taste for older, more classical rock and roll (though you've probably have a hard time getting him to admit to it - him? Listening to such loud music? Nonsense, what EVER are you talking about?). In fact, he's likely happier with rock, even if it doesn't fit his persona quite as well, and will dispute every second of it.
Collecting -- While it doesn't reach hoarding levels, Rohan is a packrat. He might deny it, and tell you that every little gadget and every little gizmo and every little scrap of paper in his apartment is of use and has incalculable value, but the truth is... none of this is true to anyone but him most likely. The jury's out on that. He refuses to throw things out for the most part, and he's probably not someone you want to take to a flea market, or a garage sale, because chances are he's likely to leave with things he may not need; the older, the more interest they seem to have for him.

There is Order in this ChaosEfficient -- For all his eccentricities and neurotic flaws, Rohan can be quite efficient if he has a plan to follow through. He usually much rather wait, study, and then follow through with a plan of action after he's gotten his details right. Not only that, but he rarely questions orders (if ever). If he's told something needs to be done... then something needs to be done and he'll do it, no questions asked. It also won't matter if he has to be underhanded or tricky about it - he'll get down and dirty if he needs to, and will even work well in groups, given he doesn't particularly like being in the spotlight.
To the DeathLoyal -- It's hard to gain his trust, but once someone has it, Rohan's loyal to a fault (in fact, he can be over bearing and over protective to the point of frustration) - he'd probably move heaven, hell and earth for people he truly believes in. The hard part is managing to break through whatever shell he's constructed around himself (he thinks it's hard to break said barriers, but in all honesty, all that's needed is a bit of effort and someone willing to actually spend time with him - a little patience goes a long way). While he has trouble trusting people around him until they prove themselves worthy... he's actually just as stubborn about letting go of this trust as he is about refusing to allow people near him.
Patience is a VirtuePatient -- Laid back and patient, he's not the type of person that goes looking for trouble. He likes to have a plan before attacking or orchestrating something. Of course, this can also be a flaw too - waiting too long can be just as bad as charging in unarmed.
Teacher, TeacherInstructive -- or someone whom could be defined as a bit of a misanthrope... he's actually very good at passing on knowledge that he's acquired. He's patient enough to understand that not everyone has the same learning rate as he does, and doesn't get frustrated with ease when people are trying, even if they are failing. He has no trouble standing in front of people in a class, and also seems to do well in one on one cases, be it for school work or fighting lessons of some sort.
Cons:
Eye TwitchesNeurotic -- Not to say he's actually diagnosed as Neurotic, but it seemed like the best word to describe him accurately. Rohan is... a mildly paranoid person, and prone to small panic/anxiety attacks if things don't work out 'according to plan' when he clearly thinks they should have. He doesn't seem to do well when taken out of his element, and performs poorly when asked to adapt to rapidly changing environments or people; he needs time to asses the situation and figure out how to act, and thus stresses greatly when not allowed to do so. He dislikes it when people enter his own, personal space, or when others touch his things, and will react rather crankily when out of his element.
God, can we just NotSocially awkward -- For all his efficiency when he actually has a plan to follow through with, and the fact he has no trouble performing his civilian job... when he's taken out of a work environment and placed in social situations... Rohan doesn't really do all that well. Talking to a class? Sure. A speech you say? Fine, give him 20 minutes. You want to get coffee? Ehhhh... can we not? A DANCE you say?! ******** no, go find someone else! This stems from the fact that other people make him nervous (specially noticeable when he's in direct physical contact to others - at least when not in battle). When stuff starts moving out of the... normal plan of action and his opponents start doing stuff like flirting with him... well then, that actually throws him for a loop. Getting physical with him without the intent to hurt him, might possibly cause his brain to crash. Rohan practically walks around with a "Do Not Touch" sign worn on his person.
There is no Order HereDisorganized/Chaotic -- He claims there's order in his chaos, but the truth is that it's possible no one but him understands his 'orderly chaos'. His office is a mess of papers, folders and things - even Rohan himself seems to forget where he left his shizznit that same morning. It's not that bad when he misplaces his car keys, but it starts getting annoying when he misplaces that incredibly important document someone told him to put in a safe place. His office is probably easily compared to some sort of black hole, capable of eating items and objects up in the mess. His general appearance is also quite chaotic. While his looks are generally average or above average, he takes little care of how he looks - he's that dude with messy, chaotic hair and crooked tie that seems too engulfed in what's he's reading in that book to really care.
Yeah, you can Eff right on OffAntisocial/Holier than thou//Vindictive -- Let's get this straight - Rohan doesn't really like you from the get go. He'll stay calm and cool about it, and for the most part... kind of slightly polite-ish about it (unless you count glares and ignoring as rude), but he really, really doesn't like you. To top it off, the man can hold a grudge. All in all, it's not a wonder he spends most of his time alone.

Rohan is a tall man, thin but not entirely lacking muscle mass; more along the lines of an athlete than a fighter, though his movements wouldn't seem to indicate this. He's dark skinned (olive skinned I believe would be the term?), with pale blond, bone white colored hair and red eyes. His clothes are not the tidiest and seem to denote a hint of disarray - like he gets dressed very fast and isn't very fastidious about wearing matching socks or having a lose tie etc.

Dark Kingdom Alias: Captain Rhodonite - changed from Rhodizite - I saw in the Question thread that this was allowed - feel free to inform me if I'm wrong! Uniform:
Base Uniform -- Long sleeves, Slacks. Base Uniform Color -- The light reddish grey (the one not quite as monochrome XD) Secondary Color -- The darker Rhodonite red seen here as accent color.
Gloves -- Yes - Fingerless leather gloves (darker grey?) for better weapon grip. Shoes -- Tall combat boots - same dark color as gloves to match Accessories -- I'm unsure if he can keep his ... semi half mask, necklace and skull hair accessory. I'll link them though! If he needs to drop something, I'd prefer to keep the mask with the horn above all else, then the necklace, and last the hair skull acc. If none of this is a go, that's cool! He was themed around bones so like.... do whatever! Have fun!

He was meant to have a Scythe as an end weapon. I'm unsure if this would be good as a captain weapon. I'm thinking Axe may be a good starting one for scythe? Or Bo Staff? Again, let me know.

WHY were you recruited? Rohan was initially brought on board for his research skills and inventory of old texts/antiques. He's good when given reading material and told to condense it, or simply searching for information and answers.
What have you been doing for the past 4 years? For the most part, at least at the start, there was a lot of training being undergone - Rohan was not exactly the most combat able, and it took him a lot of practice to get the basics down pat, having been much more comfortable with books and research. He, however, wanted to help the cause better, and a lot of time in the first two and a half years was used to train and hone his skills. About half a year, or a bit more, was used to allow himself to move to Mayet, and set up a sister store. The one left back in London is run by an associate now a days, and doesn't really need much supervision on his end.

A small note; there would have been practically no fighting going on up until possibly the last year or so (unless you count fighting with libraians who don't want to let you near the old books). So just flip his last 4 years around and it'll be good!
